I was on this cruise with the Payments. What a great bunch of guys the father and sons. As to the music it is an original sea chanty 🙂. The Schooner Mary Day is an excellent sailing ship for a multiple day cruise in Penobscot Bay with Captain Barry King and the crew. Great food, great sailing and in the end the best entertainers in the fleet.

The visual aspect of this presentation is excellent. But the sound is painful to endure. A single "muzak" track, repeated multiple times, tires the ear. You should re-think that.

Thank you for your input Mr. Spielberg.
And if You-Tube along with the music licensing attorneys at BMI/ASCAP we’ren’t such greedy, uptight a-holes, then amateur, not-for-profit film makers could assemble some decent soundtracks to accompany our silly vacation videos.
Turn down the volume and then watch again while listening to Talking Heads “Once in a Lifetime”, Paul Simon’s “Graceland”, and Jimmy Buffet’s “Son of a Son of a Sailor”.

@spayment As a fan (and re[eated guest) of the Schooner HERITAGE over the years, the video interests me. My day job is a producer/recording technician of classical music, so the musical acts you suggest aren't what i would choose. My comment was directed not so much at the choice of music, but the endless repeats of the identical material. There is plenty of royalty free music out there for those who seek it out.

@@studentjohn35 LOL. Again, thanks for the feedback. My “day job” is sailing, naps, and walking the dog. I have no professional background in video or sound production. I just slap these little vids together as quickly as possible so that perhaps I will have ways to remember my adventures when I become old and senile. Fortunately, by then, my hearing will probably be so bad that the Muzak soundtrack will be largely irrelevant. 😆❤️👍
