I bought my 900 thunderbird in 2003 ,still have it. I got 80,000 miles on the clock.it’s got load of power , 150 miles to the gallon before switching to reserve. I love it I can ride 400 miles ,no back ache.
Triumph's triple engine is smooth as silk...how can he say it's not smooth? 70hp is really detuned as my 2001 Speedie has 120hp(undertail custom exhaust). The dealer made out like he had a real highly sought after bike when in reality the Triumph T100 is the "dog" of the Bonniville line. I would have bargained alot more for a rock bottom price. Buyer should have done his homework on Triumph.
I have the green and silver 98 thunderbird, most excellent bike! Owned it for 12 years, very reliable, powerful, not great on corners i think, not like my old 850 commando but its a keeper
I owned that Thunderbird model in that color. It's a five speed, and the single front disc is lacking. It is plenty powerful with strong acceleration, in part due to lower overall gearing, running 5,000 RPM's at 65 MPH. It's a great all around bike.
Well I beat both of you. I gave my father my shadow 750 and he sold it. There goes my present. I thought he would appreciate it. He introduced me to motorcycle world. But I guess I love bikes more.
After watching some of the old guys maneuvering, R-turn signal to go into the left lane then jumping back r again. I hope he don't wreak it on the way home.
So it’s not just my old nan who constantly repeats everything. I know the rockies were awesome for you but I’m bored of hearing about them already... the videos only 20 odd minutes long
What is it with presenters, sitting and leaning on bikes on their side stands???? Isn't there enough weight on the stand and now that extra weight might do some damage to the stand or the pinion pin??? DON'T LEAN OR SIT ON A BIKE WHEN THE BIKE IS ON ITS SIDE STAND.
Fran in black leather!!😍
well this is a gem of a show. glad i happened to find it.

RIP Dr Rod.Always liked his reviews.
How can anyone give a score for reliability after just a test ride?
As it's episode 12 and they're still doing it...

Damn 😅@@xchalibur77
They should have put that old man on a 1983 Honda V65 Magna so that we could watch his arms and hips get pulled out of it's sockets!
Fran is Franastic...love her so.
Did I tell you I rode the Panthers over the Rockies? Yeah shut up, what do you think about the tank badges again or for the first time?
poor old chap
What is wrong with a Kawasaki W800 ?
Nothing really.

you took away the 200 the poor boy needed for his facial treatment!!!!
I would have the Bonneville too.
you don't know what bikes are on offer and as a kid I toured on a 250..like you need 1300cc to travel at 70 mph
Well I'm a big fat man and I can't do seventy on a 250. I can on my 650 though
You're right buts it's nice having loads of power under your ass. Sounded a bit gay but your know what I mean

Yeah the bike is reliable .... after a 30 minute ride.
Two commercial s on a download?
Thumb down !

Thunderbird trumps the bonnie any day
What’s Fran’s last name ?
Robinson i think.
Francesca Robinson may be her full name.
Slid up the tank? Get real! This guy is supposed to be an experienced rider? Yeah right.
Unless you were riding in the 60's you wouldn't know what happens in a frontal crash, ouch?
I would ride Fran all night long
Cringe
you under valued these bikesnd wanted them for nothing you old .......
