You can also try the banana leaves, if you have them. You would cut them, quail or warm them over the fire, then cut in the middle so it does not break into pieces, wrap it just as you did with the other leaves, you could use clean cord or the Balk/ string from the banana tree to tie them length and width. Sharing is caring. I cannot get enough of your videos. From Jamaica. Big up👍👍
We do use banana leaves quite a bit in Sri Lanka to wrap food, however its traditional to use the leaves she's using when making these steamed sweet stuff.. The leaves are called Kenda kola.. They pretty much grow in the wild and I planted one six months ago and its huge now.. I should really make something and use them!
We also use the skin of raw banana. Very eagerly waiting for your videos, I love your daughter she so helpful at this small age, god bless you and your family
