ගෙදර ගෙනා ඉගුරු වලින් කොටසක් සෝදා වංගෙඩියට දමා හොදින් කොටා,සීනි,කොමඩු සහ ලුණු දමා මද ගින්දරේ ලිපේ තබා හැදිගාගත්තේ කවුරුත් කැමති ඉගුරු දෝසි හදන්නටය.පදමට ආ පසු වට්ටුවට දමා ඉක්මනින් ඉරි ඇද නිවුනු පසු කෑලි වෙන්කර ගතයුතුය.
තාත්තා පෙරේදා හවස පොලෙන් ගෙනා බූන්දි සහ තල ගුලි සමග මා අතින් සැකසූ ඉගුරු දෝසිද රැගෙන මැද ගෙදර ආච්චි අම්මා බලන්නට ගියත් ඈ එහි සිටියේ නැත.හෝරාවක් පමණ මග බලා මල්ල මැටි බිත්තියෙහි වූ ඇනයෙහි එලලූවේ මදක් දොම්නසිනි.
දෙමළ ආරෙට කුකුල් මස් හොද්දක් සැකසුවේ කාලෙකිනි.මී කිරි,ලුනු,මිරිස්,දෙහි දමා අතගා රන්වන් පැහැවනතුරු බැද සුවද ජාති,වියලි කජු සහ තක්කාලි යහමින් දමා සකසාගත් මසාලා හොද්ද රොටි කන්නටම කියාපු ජාතියක්ය.ඒ අතරට අම්මාගෙන් ලැබුනු ඉගුරු තේ කෝප්පයත් ඉස්තරම්ය.
