How to adjust the NEUTRAL position on a hydrostatic transmission. This is a Cub Cadet 129, and I just welded on a replacement trunnion. This changes the linkages, and thus we must re-adjust for NEUTRAL.
very good video have to remember that when I adjust mine, would that also work for adjustingthe brake into neutral I have a 123 and when you pus hthe brake down itputs it into forward just slighty
very helpful. I actually needed to remove both bolts, flip the bracket over and use a burr to make the lower adjustment longer to compensate for wear. fixed it right up. runs and drives like it should. I just bought this and haven't even mowed with it yet
on my 1250, the forward/reverse lever on the dash is real loose, and i have to constantly keep my hand on it or else it will fall down into reverse. how can i stiffen that up? Is there a spring up under the dash that does this, or is it all right there where he is at in this video? I love my cub, i just dont want to kiss the steering wheel unexpectedly.
slm2500 I don't really know, I have no experience with the 1650. I took a peek at another video th-cam.com/video/4OSUloDWPas/w-d-xo.htmlm52s and there's a rod going back in about the right place, but it doesn't look like the same double-plate linkage. The hydro looks like its the same, so there's a chance it is very similar.
Have a 682 that creeps a bit. This points me in the right direction, thanks man!

Im working on a 1811. Which way is forward and reverse? I got it with out the handle and i got to fab all the part that link to tran to a handle.
Thanks for the video this helped me fix my Cub Cadet 782.
moiaredhawk how did you do it?
This helped me fix my 1250🙂😁
Quick reminder: Before beginning this adjustment, slide that bracket to its highest position and then slightly tighten the 2 bolts.
