Yesterday I finally heard this organ being played, by a young boy. I’m not good at guessing ages, but he would have been at primary school. He was with a woman who I assume was his mother. I went over to speak to them and she told me that he likes to play whenever he comes to the Centre. So, it is played, just never when I have been there before.
Sadly, I have never heard anybody playing this organ, unlike the one at London Bridge station. The Whitgift Centre is almost deserted these days.
I have only heard about it while reading the Wikipedia page of the London Bridge station pipe organ...
