dont know if you're still playing the game, but I've been having issues with my 890J ... mainly around the "Fleet Manager" and bedding it down, then having it change it's status where Ihave to get a claim to get it back rather than just retrieve it... any issue for you?
@@just_time yeah please do and get back to me. I can’t seem to bed it down with vehicles inside and it comes back to me normally. Something always goes sideways.
@@just_time it’s not when I put it away with nothing inside though, it’s only when there’s a small ship (usually 300i) or a vehicle in one of the bays. Try it that way. ..
@@just_time It is indeed expensive (~$950), but really not that hard to get even though it's technically a "limited" ship, in reality it's offered several times every year during the various special event sales, though it's best to log on and grab it as soon as the sale goes live as there are a limited quantity offered. (Or of course you could just skip all that nonsense and buy it on the grey market from an individual anytime you want).

I was once sneaking into a Carrack and two other players where spawning inside the ship, after i killed them. Normally i play on the good side, but not at this night... they both had to die again :D In the end we talked in chat and i gave him back his ship. After some playtime he came back to me and gave me the Carrack to enjoy again. That's what happens with random players inside SC :)
theres no more water in the pool on the 890 jump in patch 3.18 and 318.1 and probably never again this ship is slowly getiing glitchier and glitchier the more patches come out
@@just_time As a game tester I can say that new patches are always braking old stuff which was working. It depends if devs are in hurry. What % of players own this ship agains % of players who experience other bugs which will improve overall game experience. If you are running out of time you will come with big update for everyone and in later update fix things for those few people who are experiencing water bug. Its not gamebreaking bug

I heard there was supposed to be a bigger spaceship I guess they didn't build it yet exposed to something like a cruise liner spaceship of course I said that's more like a billionaire spaceship I call it 890 jump with bigger on the outside of smaller an inside even more than what It supposed to be I mean I don't get it you you walking inside of the part of this outside and inside is 20 feet smaller than what it supposed to be 20 ft long on the outside 20 feet smaller I'm inside I didn't you know that the walls were 18 feet thick so that's what date 890 jump reminds me of dog sidewalls all twenty feet thick. Because it's a hell lot smaller on the inside.
I'm not thick, I promise, but I am getting older. I bought this game, oh, a week ago, and I'll be the son of a bamboozled bonobo if I can get started. I noted that, when I put my licence code in, it wanted to download around 20Gb of files, so I left it overnight as internet is slow here. In the morning my internet was disconnected so I looked for the files on my C: drive, and couldn't find them. So, with a heavy sigh, I went to reinstall the files but all's it would let me download is an update to 3.18.1, a 172Mb file. Once done, I clicked Play Now, but it took me back to the download page and I've been going round in circles ever since. So, two questions: one, if the game files are not on my system, why won't it let me re-attempt a download; and two, if they DID download, and all I needed was the update, then where are the flapping files on my system, and why won't it let me play once the update is downloaded? I apologise it is so long-winded, but I wanted to make sure I gave all the relevant info. My system? It's a 9th gen intel processor, 8 cores I think, 128Gb RAM, and a 4Tb C: drive. I've also got an NVIDIA RTX 3090 in there with 24Gb of video memory. I don't know if that's useful or not. If there is anyone who has got this far, thanks for your patience and any help. x
Ok lets fix this problem together :) so for me: you bought the game and downloaded the launcher. In RSI launcher you logged in with your RSI account (the account you bought the game) and started the download… next morning the download (around 60 or 80gb i dont know exactly) was finished and you tried to start the game but it only started an update and after the update was finished the whole game was downloaded again?
@@sbutler860 That was a smert move, I've done that twice now. As for the video, nice and luxurious, but totally ridiculous and impractical design. It's for appealing to fantasists only. As if all that space would be wasted, even on a so called luxury yacht. RSI certainly know their targe market, and they have that gamiefied crowdfunding model totally wired.

Does the med bay allow you to regen there, e.g., use the 890 Jump as a spawn point, as long as the ship hasn't been destroyed?
I tried it half a year ago it doesnt work :( you can only use the medic room for healing not setting a spawn point

I have the same problem. Dont know why but its Star Citizen. A new patch full of bugs is normal :D
