Well done, very well done!! It appears I've stumbled on a new, awesome architecture/construction channel. Script writing and narration are TOP NOTCH with professionally stunning visuals! Concise, objectionable, and thought provoking-it's hard to pull off all three under 20 min, but One Megaprojects team has done a fabulous job of it. I look forward to your future content. Cheers!🥂
So far I’ve watched two of your videos. The Brooklyn bridge project and this one. I’m hooked! In this video l, all of these projects make me feel like the great outdoors will be a thing of the past. Progress is interesting though.
@BellePrepper Thank you for your support.🙂 In-depth research and content creation takes many many hours of work, and comments like yours make the effort worthwhile. 🙂
Really? I did not find the music selection to be intrusive at all. I have definitely come across intrusive background music. This however was not one for me. But I guess. to each its own Awesome content btw, I was fully captivated the whole time! Keep up the amazing work!!
In many cases, there will be issues in western countries which are inexistent in most Oriental countries. 1) People can protest and make an impact in the west; people can protest (if lucky) in non-western societies, but dictatorial regimes do NOT rely on people's votes, so these can always use force to impose the regime's will onto people. *People don't need to be persuaded, they will have to deal with the decisions that the rulers take.* 2) A little related to the above - many megaprojects have their own share of impediments in the western world, because of the _democratic_ regime and legislation. Take the USA's struggle to build *one lousy high-speed rail line* between *L.A. and San Francisco* , whereas *China currently owns over two thirds of all operational high-speed railways in the world!!* That is because there will be trials and quarrels that accompany _land acquisition_ procedures, among others. In China, that is completely inexistent because the goverment can evict you at any given moment and carry on with whatever project they are taking up. In short, the US could do many such projects in theory, but all the approvals, paperwork for land acquisition, workers' rights etc. etc. would keep delaying the projects and bring the *costs* to *unfeasible levels* . Also don't forget how the _workforce_ and _building materials_ are exponentially more expensive in the west!
Really appreciate your comments. 🙂Working on the subscribers, but unfortunately TH-cam’s algorithm is brutal for new channels, so it’s going to be a slow process.
There is line into the future. 🤗 Mind that the habitands are not to fill in but have also a social life. 😅 And when life is too expensive to manage nobody want to stay there for long. Only a fraction of humans are millionair isnt it !?
Ok the line will probably be impossible to complete because of this: The freedom tower in New York took about 13 years to complete. The freedom tower is about 200 feet across on each side, and the line is about 528 feet in width. it is also about the same height, so thats already 26 years just to build 200 feet of length. When they want to build this 105 miles, that is hundreds if not thousands of freedom towers, not to mention that there are 2 lines. That would take approximately 85,000 years to fully complete, which is counting both lines (if I did my math and research correctly) and trillions of dollars, countless men, and billions of tons of resources. It is unrealistic and will never happen.
1) The US and especially New York are notorious for taking *way* longer to build than most places in the world, the Burj Khalifa for example, which is ~1.5 times taller, only took 6 years from start to finish 2) The Freedom Tower was being built in the middle of a bustling city, The Line is being built in the desert, there's no time constraints on when they're allowed to build, transport material, pour concrete, etc.. 3) Labour is significantly cheaper, so they could afford to have hundreds of thousands of people erecting portions of The Line at the same a time, not to mention they don't plan on making the entire 170km line from the start 4) China has built entire cities, capable of housing millions of people, in ~5 years. So it's not a stretch to condense one of those cities into a 'line' and have it built relatively quickly While it is ambitious and probably unlikely to fully come to fruition exactly as they say, it is definitely feasible in a short timeline, only takes money and manpower...

Really really nice! However I ask that you vary your music slightly as the musci can get annoying eventually
We’re very grateful for the comment and we appreciate your input!

@@thepassenger3332 Whirl the music in itself is fine the constant repetition was slightly noticeable. I imagine long term this could become an issue.
@ The passenger Thank you for the support! 🙂
USA needs to step up its game with tourism, they could easy make way better structures and city's than the middle east.
dude disney world is a better tourist megaproject than any of this weirdo stuff.

@@MrTrickFM oh, that actually makes sense thanks for informing me.
@@MrTrickFM it's unfortunate that US is actually a consumer economy not a producer.

The line is the most astonishing way of redeveloping the city i can ever imagine it’s absolutely nuts 😮 🔥
🇸🇦😵❤
Awesome video, you deserve way more subs.
I also like your effort on the video, good job!

The Mukaab has dragons.
But I think I stay here in germany and just ride my bike to the local bakery lol.
Just thought of something, we should build this at our southern border with Mexico

Of all the Mega Projects mentioned, only the Line and MUkkab are impossible to build hahaha

American projects take longer than they should because of corruption. There's no red tape to cut through over there. No palms to grease.
You've got it right.
This is *Asia's century* , presumably also *Asia's millennium* !
