It was an honor to be on the show and this episode was no different than our interactions backstage all the time. Love me some Delta and so grateful for all the positive comments. Thank you All ♥️ SimplyFontasia
LOVE when yall book experienced queens that we haven’t seen on drag race/dragula. I saw Fontasia at a Palm Springs brunch last fall. She is a fabulous performer and presence!
I’m literally rhinestoning an outfit right now for a client that I was recommended to by Fontasia. Fontasia is such a giving and uplifting member of the community and so is Delta and its amazing to see members of the community lift eachother up, this was such a treat
I was so thrilled to hear Delta mention Hunter (RIP) who crashed on my couch for three months when he came to NYC. A few years later I ran into him in LA at Mickeys so I took some extra time off to crash on his blow up couch in Long Beach for a few nights and he took me to see him in Dreamgirls and introduced me to Chad.
But I can definitely relate to the Pringles rant 😭 they used to be bigger before 2016 because we used to import the American ones and I will never get over that
In Chicago at The Baton, their seasoned performer Chilli Pepper aka the 1st Miss Continental, always had her signature song, always brings the house down. Miss going to all her shows. Also seen several queens who appeared on drag race. Love that you true queens chose your career!!
Delta's beef with sandwich artists always kills me. I am unfortunately still in my subway era. I've tried the new wraps, they are good but the same cost of a footlong, bullshit.
I would love to see an episode where Delta gets 2 or 3 folks who work fast food retail and sits them down to ask them customer questions and give them space to tell their pov or just go off.
Go off delta. Just one of the many reasons I love this show ❤❤❤❤girl my cousin and I are always talking about how the way stuff tastes, amounts, and the way it’s made is so different. It really fd up when u think about the many ways we are being taken advantage of.
Love this, regarding the question about a friend always being late, in my teens, my theatre group we always had the same gal late, we had a meet up time and a Laura time, a half hour earlier. Thank you for your show.
When I lived in New York and the only cigarette I smoked were Nat Sherman MCDs and if you were at the wrong smoke shop or bodega they cost 20 dollars a pack. That is a dollar a cigarette. They are now discontinued. But I would pay a dollar a cigarette now.
About Twinkies: recently I've watched a youtube video by business insider, where they told the story of rise and fall of Twinkies and apparently the original company went under, was bought by some investors and among cost-cutting measures there was this change from cream filling to vegetable oil one and other changes to increase their shelf life. That's why they taste so bad now
Delta, you are everything. For years I have been made fun of for caring too much about the little things apparently nobody cares about. You are an icon. Also, question. WHY THE HELL DO THEY NOT PUT THE JELLY IN JELLY DONUTS SOMETIMES? LIKE FORREAL. I keep getting jelly donuts without jelly. What is up with that? I feel like you'd understand my pain. If it's advertised as having jelly, where the hell is the jelly? D:
Let's support more mom and pop's and hole in the wall restaurants. They don't inflate the prices as much and the food is better and healthier. I go to a Latin restaurant that didn't raise prices in the last 5 years. This year he decided to not include a drink in the food price like it used to be. He personally said so to every single customer one MONTH prior the new change. Fuck all fast foods and snack factories!!!
@@PizzaVoodoo I had my first date with my boyfriend in 2002 there. This year will be 22 years together. I have some amazing memories clubbing at Truman's.
Omg talking about making mixes on cassettes brings me back! My friends and I would make mixes on their dad’s boom box. It was the best way to spend a Friday night in the 90s.
I really wish Drag Race would do at least one season of seasoned legendary queens. I get so tired of the young queens season after season. I want layer upon layer of experience, emotion, and cat fights from hell! Imagine what a dream that would be?!
Come on queers, let's show the same love to an episode when the guest is not someone from Drag Race. This episode deserves a lot more views than it has! The amount of drag experience, life experience, knowledge in this episode; the educational and inspirational historic memories and many more extraordinary and amazing things these two queens are talking about. Why don't you show love and support? I am genuinely confused. You all love Delta, I have no doubt on that. But when this luxury public access podcast and youtube talk show has a guest you don't know of, but you should definitely learn about, you don't show up! We can do better. I love you Delta for educating the children and feeding us well.
I am just Very Delta enough to have actually sent Doritos an email last week regarding their now unrecognizable and awful product. Opened a new bag and there was almost no flavor powder coating on any of the chips. Looked like a bag of plain tortilla chips. Unacceptable. They sent me coupons for 2 new bags. Yes, it's the small fish to be fried.
Thank you for talking about Shrinkflation, it’s important people wake up to what these companies are trying to push to us and look for other choices, local choices now are cheaper and much better, with more of a homemade quality to it
38:14 BoomBoom Room. Laguna Beach, CA. Off Mountain Avenue. the bar is now closed however there is an art installation bench at the top of the beach access stairs. Just down below is, “The Garden of peace and love” or The Aids memorial Garden.
Girl what place in STL??? That hurts my home town is trying so hard to have a big drag scene. I’m going to guess it was attitudes in the grove and that place closed and no one has bought it.
It was an honor to be on the show and this episode was no different than our interactions backstage all the time. Love me some Delta and so grateful for all the positive comments. Thank you All ♥️ SimplyFontasia
You're absolutely lovely ❤ as I live in Québec it's nice to meet the Queens from other cities xoxo
The level of elegance was unreal... he pose, the voice, the attitude.... beautiful!♡ also you remind me if Beverly Johnson ♡
such a grace just keep doing u
Wow great to see a guest delta respects deeply
I was sooo incredibly happy to see you on the show. Loved all of it and watched it twice already.
LOVE when yall book experienced queens that we haven’t seen on drag race/dragula. I saw Fontasia at a Palm Springs brunch last fall. She is a fabulous performer and presence!
"Stop looking at the bright side" 😂😂 i need that on a shirt 😂
please
Thank you for sharing her with us. As a black trans woman she makes me look forward to the future
The only channel to have guests of this caliber
A TRUE LEGEND!!!! You can’t bottle what Delta serves! A STAR! ⭐️ She’s the highlight of our week! ❤❤❤
Yeah only a true legend can complain about fast food employees
I’m literally rhinestoning an outfit right now for a client that I was recommended to by Fontasia. Fontasia is such a giving and uplifting member of the community and so is Delta and its amazing to see members of the community lift eachother up, this was such a treat
Fontasia has such a beautiful personality and soul.
She speaks like an actual queen. I’m kind of in awe
Shrinkflation is real and we are all getting ripped off. So glad you're going off about it. ❤ u Delta!
These deep dives into Socal drag history is so amazing. All the legends need an interview with Delta!
people are watching the met gala carpet and I am here listening to Delta talk about the taste of Pringles. I am obsessed.
Me, an Australian, who has no idea what a Payday Bar, or a Twinkie is: "Yes, go off Delta! Preach!"
Im seriously surprised Australians dont have twinkies
Did you notice Wagonwheels aren’t right now? More sugar, less biscuit and chocolate.
@@MrBrindleStyle Yeah, but Tim Tams are precisely the same size they've always been! :)
But I can definitely relate to the Pringles rant 😭 they used to be bigger before 2016 because we used to import the American ones and I will never get over that
WHAT?! No Twinkies “Down Under?”
*How very dare they.* 😂
In Chicago at The Baton, their seasoned performer Chilli Pepper aka the 1st Miss Continental, always had her signature song, always brings the house down. Miss going to all her shows. Also seen several queens who appeared on drag race. Love that you true queens chose your career!!
" Girl, I'm not above it; I'll get below it."
what a pleasant surprise, a LEGEND truly
She’s soothing and beautiful.. would love to see more of her in the DR realm. Also she’s good at giving advice!
Ugh the mention of Tommie Rose was what I needed love that queen please please have her on the show!!! Legend!!
So enjoyed visiting with Fuddie...such a great person and so talented.
🔸🔶🔸 Fontasia and Delta are wonderful to hear and learn from! Beautiful people and great conversation!
pls just keep bringing legends on like Mimi Marks,Maya Douglas,Stasha and etc.❤❤❤
what a gorgeous guest 🤍
Delta's beef with sandwich artists always kills me. I am unfortunately still in my subway era. I've tried the new wraps, they are good but the same cost of a footlong, bullshit.

The absolute best! I’ve been a fan since the 90’s!!! Love her soooo much and cannot wait to see this episode!!❤❤❤

Fontasia is everything. Love to see her being celebrated. We all win when she flourishes!
RIP Marilyn
RIP Hunter
RIP Kiwi
❤❤🙏🏼
Thank you for confirming my daily shrink flation thoughts. Go off Delta ! I totally feel ya girl.
The Queen, The Legend, The Icon herself. I hate to use this phrase, it's killing me to use it, but if you know, you know!
Loved the walk through of the history of Dreamgirls. Thank you both!
This episode is such a treat 🔸♥️
I ❤❤❤ Miss Fuddie Fontasia L'Amour! True Icon!
Very Delta is the queer art Megami talked about protecting
Great interview love to see all these Icons!
The pure love between these two is undeniable! 🔸🔶🔸🔶🔸
Love this, regarding the question about a friend always being late, in my teens, my theatre group we always had the same gal late, we had a meet up time and a Laura time, a half hour earlier. Thank you for your show.
Same same in Australia- I used to organise bands and say different start times for those who turned up late.
I live for Monday’s so I can watch delta bc I truly feel like she gets it. love your videos, they give me something to look forward too ❤
That opening monologue 🏆
One of the best episodes yet! #FUDwhatyaheard 😉 👑

I used to buy the Fantasia by that brand when I was a young gay
@@PhD_Teacher_Ed Ugh. Tar Stained Youth. I miss it.
This was a really great episode! Great job everyone ❤
LEGENDS ONLY on this episode. Everyone better show your respect! ❤
Thank you for this iconic guest and episode! 💜✨💜
I haven't watched yet but I don't think I've ever been so excited for a guest OMG
She has such a calming, warm energy, she’s fabulous.
I think this has been my favorite episode yet, thank you Delta!
Fontasia is a ICON! So glad to see her on the couch getting Very Delta.
About Twinkies: recently I've watched a youtube video by business insider, where they told the story of rise and fall of Twinkies and apparently the original company went under, was bought by some investors and among cost-cutting measures there was this change from cream filling to vegetable oil one and other changes to increase their shelf life. That's why they taste so bad now
That’s also the reason now they’ll last through the apocalypse.
this is my favorite look of any guest
I’ve never seen Delta get choked up 😢
Delta, you are everything. For years I have been made fun of for caring too much about the little things apparently nobody cares about.
You are an icon.

Delta should testify to congress. “Shrink-flation” is a genius concept.
…it’s also a very well-known term that already exists. I hope you don’t think Delta just came up with it off the top of her head 😅
Absolutely adore these episodes with Delta’s close friends💖
Loved loved LOVED this interview
This was a good one Delta. Fontasia your words of wisdom will sit with me. TY!❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤
Delta truly gives ppl their flowers. I love that!

The club in Mishawaka is called Truman's. They are no longer open. I live in South Bend Indiana and Fontasia is a legend here.
I was looking for this comment, my 20s were ruled by Truman’s ! 💖💖💖
@@PizzaVoodoo I had my first date with my boyfriend in 2002 there. This year will be 22 years together. I have some amazing memories clubbing at Truman's.

100%
Older, more experienced queens are (usually) more reserved and won’t deliver the “drama” & “cat fights” the audience expects.
Me too 😘 I would love that opportunity ♥️

10:27 Don't play with me, I WANT CROUTONS. that really spoke to me.
This was fun to listen to!!
loved the hard hitting fast food inflation stats, journalistic queen
“Does shrinkflation have you fucked up like me?”

Love your look today!❤
The shrinkflation is annoying af. They better stop f'ing with my Duncan Hines
In Australia too - globalism is dreadful
its actually proven that food changes with time is not only in our heads. its true!
Delta is talking about what we ALL are thinking about saying
