I’ve just been so dang busy/my health has been so poor I haven’t even been able to catch a game this season. His basketball IQ is well beyond his years, hence my surprise at him being a rookie. Once this team builds some chemistry and gets healthy I still see them as a team that can compete with the best. Yeah the start of the season has been a disaster, with injuries and the team obviously figuring it out on the court as they go..but I don’t see this lasting forever. Once Maxey is back I think they will start to pile up some wins. If they can be around .500 by game 40 they can definitely still secure a top 5 seed in the East, But yea Jared has been incredible, his playmaking and movement have really surprised me. He could continue to start next to Maxey or be the 6th man this team needs. Dude out there looking like a Steph+Booker lab experiment!
That's the sad part. But they should look his post game interviews especially when they lost in March Madness. Because it shows his dedication to the game and to his team. Doing tiktoks and painting his nails should not be a concern, he is just doing it to keep his confidence and be free from stress

It's kinda expected from him now, Thanks to social media, we (those who followed his journey as a bball player, and if you don't know, he is really famous before NBA) all know that everytime a new challange comes, this kid thrives way higher like linsanity on a smaller scale, he did that in high school, on NCAA court, in pre-season and now in regular season, all the so called physical disadvantages never stopped him once, why would it now? He is small but it's not like he's Julian Newman small, McCain is still 6'2" that's NBA size.
i encourage people to watch his latest vlog. i know i know but there are some parts of his mental game that really make you think this kid could've been good at anything. he's definitely good at basketball.
