That personifies his determination to be better with himself. Also see how he enters the court every time: he bows to pay the respect that his playing time has been earned, from the coaches and the players. I hope nothing but the best for Yuki, and rooting for him as a fellow Japanese.

Un mago que pudo estar en el país del norte. Mis pensamientos van para este joven japones y sus enormes cualidades, pese a su estatura está escribiendo una gran historia, el nuestro ya lo hizo y quienes le vimos hoy le recordamos y homenajeamos.
"Kawamura shouldn't be this good" this is a common American mindset. Y'all think basketball is all about America. Kawamura is not even the best in Asia. America is not the world, get out of your bubble. If the NBA stops stereotyping and starts drafting more players from outside the States, it would be an eye opener.
I don’t think he was talking about his nationality man I’m pretty sure he was talking about the height. Also nobody thinks that non-Americans are worse, the two best players in the league rn are European
@@1kkn11 Like what I said. He's not the best in Asia. And he's not that short in Asia. So saying he's not supposed to be good is like saying anyone with that height is supposed to suck. That height is a basketball player kind of height in Asia.
Bro, Its a compliment to his size. He doesn't mean it the way you're taking it. A lot of the best players in the NBA aren't from America. Also, if they're that good, the scouts will find them
He's not going to be in the league long. Not because he doesn't deserve to be there, but because the African-Americans of the league are going to jostle him out because the NBA is "their" pie.
He’ll either be tossed down to the g league to never be heard of again or be at the end of the bench getting garbage time. Memphis has too many guards that are better
That’s what I’m saying to my group. Basket height matters 100%. But it is not a game for very tall people, but VERY tall AND VERY short people. Peoplr and league TENDS TO ignores very short people’s advantage. Short meaning lesser shooting options but because they are so short the giants in the field bacicslly can’t see them because they can usually and prob only look their eye level or up to net so essentially if you are short enough, you can exploit a lot of their blind spots and pass either yourself or ball without noticing because player can’t look eye level to check people positioning and the net upward while also looking down where the ball is running around and because you are so short, it is basically impossible to steal ball from them with the bigger the high differences. In basketball imo there are only 2 masters, the tall to shoot AND the short to connect the options. While heights that are in the middle tend to be master of none is how I see. And league only notice the tall people not short people, until now
He’s not just representing Asians but most importantly all people who are not 6 footers who want to be hoopers, that’s big.

A 5’8 player shouldn’t be this good against the top players in the world who have a average height of 6’4…
@@1kkn11 Like what I said.
Also, if they're that good, the scouts will find them
@@elfilibusterible Well you’re obviously not comprehending what i’m trying to say, so have a good day
Grizzlies should sign this guy. Absolutely good for their brand, very marketable, and Japan would support anyone overseas.
He's not going to be in the league long. Not because he doesn't deserve to be there, but because the African-Americans of the league are going to jostle him out because the NBA is "their" pie.
If you fight and cant win then do you deserve to win
He’ll either be tossed down to the g league to never be heard of again or be at the end of the bench getting garbage time. Memphis has too many guards that are better
Japan lost to French Ref in Olympic, not to the team. the 3 points line foul was ridiculous
So true my man😢
That’s what I’m saying to my group. And league only notice the tall people not short people, until now
Love stories like this.
his passing iq and efficiency is absolutely insane. the true definition of heart over height.
His play on defense alone deserves a nba contract
I love that his number is 17 just like his fellow Japanese, Ohtani.
