Matteos is by far the best poker player on earth it’s literally insane how much knowledge he has for years and been crushing it. Nothing but respect for that guy
@@CalebsRightNut Better to lose on a bluff than getting chipped down and being forced all in with a marginal holding. Because people know hes capable of those bluffs, his value bets also get paid off.
Please put the date it was played either in the title or the description. I never know wether these are reruns or not especially when seeing these names.
You'd think with such a high buyin pokergo would have three tables they could bounce back and forth to....one "feature table" for this event seems lame
@@ComixMultiplication I missed that he hit the Queen on the river, but he does still lose to QQ 99 or 55, so I think taking a moment to consider if he is calling is fine.
Yeah, but if the guy is snapping QJ then you might be bluffing too much in that spot. Mateos’ got straight blockers in his hand trying to rep AJ+ and It feels like the only hand that will call 2 then fold is A10 which you also block. was it a super well constructed line? he’s a super sicko but he ain’t playing EPT main event scrubs.
this chip most likely not to going to win them the tournament, but it gives them a chance to just last in the tournament while other people bust, for example the hand where Mateos left one chip, Davies have no reason to shove because either Mateos has AA/qq/jj... or hand that he beat so he just call, and if he shove anyways, Mateos can still fold
Think over-bluffing is what made 50M in live events. He did 4 final tables in a row before this tournament. Yes big bluffs will make you either win or lose big chips but thus strat is clearly working for him . Imo people tend to under-bluffing
Nick P and Dvoress showing that variance is a cruel mistress, yes these guys win 5-10+ million a year but they also buy in to 5-8 million a year or more.

I love how Kahbrel orchestrated Ivey’s bust out by limping UTG. It’s always the worst feeling to bust in a hand you should have never been in…

didn’t even show how the full house over full house ivey vs patrick ended. weak ahh channel
5.25 lol Kulev staring down Ivey for a read and then gives up trying completely

Seemed like a pretty ambitious call with that QT for over pot jam
We’re ahead of combo draws, have decent equity vs 2P. Although flop is closer imo.

Agreed

Mateos Hand tells you how a preflop mistake can ruin the whole hand.
He had to bluff the river there was no other way around it.
Letsss go ivey
What the date month??
Sick bluff from Mateos

Yeah sick bluff and he loses the tourney lol
The worlds’ most expensive sit n go!
Heath had to be holding a grudge against Nick. Why would he tank the river like that?
why do they leave 1 chip behind?
Phil looks like he’s on a fishing trip.
I don't understand why not have rebuys?? It makes the prize pool much larger and evens out luck

Rebuys provide girly men incentive to think they can actually win (in addition to their small penises)
why do they leave 1 chip [1K] behind instead of ripping? happened at least twice in the vid.

I love Mateos but if the dude is snapping you with QJ in a spot where you have a lot of wins on an A7JQx board you might be over-bluffing.

How do we not see how kaladjurdevic became chip leader early-on?
he didn't "become" chip leader, he started with more chips than anyone else

Stop saying "in dramatic fashion", when it's a preflop all in coin flip. It's not dramatic, it's a flipping coin flip.
