Lo Wang is really funny, and the fact He talks when you kill an ennemy, it can help when you use a "trap" type like the grenadelauncher but can't see him (the ennemy) killed! :D

I agree. A lot of the humor in Shadow Warrior can best be described as trying to top Duke 3D with an immense sprinkling of "Peepee in your coke" over it.
I love Shadow Warrior, it's just that the humor falls flat on its face too often.

1 When Lo Wang enters the Shrine? (i think?) with the bamboo forest, there is an anime babe washing herself. He says to her "Those Real Tits".
2 At the industrial estate in an office there is another Anime babe. Lo Wang tells her "Sexritary is sexy" (or words to that effect).
3 There is a place in the game where you meet an older woman bathing naked. She tells Lo Wang "I want some Wang". His 2 replies are "Lady somebody beat you with Ugly Stick" and "Lo Wang be somewhere else now"
Havent played this game in 16 or so years so my memory is a tad foggy. Yes yes i know. Havent played in over a decade and cant remember game levels but can remember quotes.

I was so happy when Devolver made it free.
in DN3d you hardly had any part of the level without jokes and cameo and Easter eggs...
the enemies was ridiculed and the whole game was a joke on the "alien invasions".
in DNF the coprimary is a "respectful homage" to Gears of War, the enemies are treated as "the biggest menace", Duke is put in not treated as the ridicule "god-hero" of action flicks but its even put in a "sympathetic" story arc of being the only wise guy there...yes DNF was too serious and self-adsorbed...

@13x1x20 Look at Duke Nukem Forever. Half the mainstream garbage reviews barely even talked about the game itself, but rather were butthurt about Duke's politically incorrect and "misogynistic" character. (Duke isn't misogynist, he's hedonist)

Apparently Devolver Digital explicitly stated that all the politically incorrect humor from the original will be cut in favor of a more conservative, less offensive one. Absolute bullshit, IMO. One would think that an old-school publisher like Devolver (they used to be God Games, ffs, the greatest game publisher that ever was) would make such an antithetical to old school gaming design decision, but that's that. Oh well.

ThexHaloxfreak I think the "Young Wang" was trying to channel James Hong (David Lo Pan in Big Trouble In Little China) but the dialogue was weak by comparison. OG's laugh alone was priceless.

For all those who thinks shadow warrior is free. I say its freeware if you buy it you got all official and unofficial add-on`s. Freeware includes only firs 4 levels.

FFS we have reality tv shows now about the most stereotypical people (in a BAD way) and we can't have Lo Wang Low Brow humor? I expect a mod that will replace any voice overs with the originals to bring some nostalgia back but this game better have the best gameplay ever or it will bomb.
