- hi!! In this video, I go a little into each of the spiritual habits + practices I do because I get a ton of questions about them. I would consider myself a beginner still in the world of spirituality, so I wanted to share with you all how I got started and continue to learn - for beginners, from a beginner.
What I explain is all based on my understandings and experiences, plus I try to keep everything I say simple and easily digestible. I know there's SO much more depth to a lot of the concepts, as well as other views, so please take everything I say with a grain of salt and as a starting point to learn more on your own.

hi everyone! i wanted to put a comment on here to also mention a HUGE part of all my habits that i forgot to mention in the video - their origins. Of course all of these things have become more “mainstream” or acknowledged because of social media, but many of these practices have deep cultural ties such as Hinduism, Buddhism, etc. You learn about the history as you study them, and I forgot that some people may not have the knowledge on it like I do because I’m acquainted with it. So, as you get into these practices, also make sure that you learn about their history and significance!!

@@snflwr078 hi there, I am Hindu and all I can recommend you is to do research through books and websites of actual Hindu people mainly from the Indian subcontinent because it’s where it started yk. One of the best places to start is to learn about the EPICs Ramayana and/or Mahabharata and then start researching about the gods and goddesses, btw I’m no professional but I have grown up in a Hindu family so i know my fair share, hope you have a good day

The thing that bugs me the most about Tarot cards used in movies or tv is when someone pulls out the death card and they say "OMG someone is going to die!" Like that's not what it means. It's usually a new beginning or the end of a chapter in life.
yessss people new to tarot are always so scared of the death card and it’s like, no, not an actual death, but a metaphorical one
yes! i'm a scorpio and scorpio is associated with death. it doesnt mean i'm going to die or i'm a killer or whatever, it isn't bad

I was at a crystal shop by my house and the literal second I picked up a small clear quartz sphere I could feel it's energy and it was one of the craziest things ever.

I went to a local spiritual shop and I picked this amethyst cluster and I could feel like butterflies in my stomach and it’s vibrant energy! One of the best experiences I’ve had.
How did it feel like? It never happened to me. Once I wore a carnelian ring and my finger tickled (?) but I think it wasn’t the crystal lol
@@NicoleBe once it happens u should know….like i get this sense of a weight being lifted off my shoulders and like there’s butterflies in my stomach (like when ur around your crush or something)….that’s just my personal experience on how i feel yours could be different!!!:)
I remember going this happening twice to me. Once, in a shop in Jamaica, I brushed my fingers over some really pretty tanzanite and I felt more calm than ever. Then, I had a friend who was a special needs kid, so he had this teacher who loved everything to do with crystals. Every morning, she brought a pouch of crystals and little description cards. I was so afraid to ask for one, but after noticing that she never got mad when others did, I built up the courage to do it. I asked and she said yes. I felt drawn towards a small chunk of amethyst. She looked at me and just smiled.
For me I started listening to subliminals, then I learned about reality shifting, then I read the CIA docs on shifting and learned about meditation and psychic abilities from it. After that I started meditating a bunch and then I kept learning and one thing lead to another.

Also! Keep in mind when using a tarot deck, when you pull a card make sure before (like during shuffling) you are asking your question and SETTING YOUR INTENTION. intention is VERY important as it helps you connect more with the energy of your deck and you get accurate answers/results. Also another note, if you buy a deck or have a deck that is new and you haven’t used-before using the deck for readings try and connect your energy with the cards first, like shuffling them, sleeping with them by your head or blowing on them (I do this every time I use my decks) it’s very important because the tarot decks have to connect and align with your energy otherwise you won’t have that great of a connection with them and might not get the best accurate readings.

black crystals such as, black tourmaline, obsidian etc. are also great for protection from negative energy :)
You know why you like citrine. As a depressed potato I like citrine as well. What you didn’t mention is that citrine is often dubbed as the happy crystal. Some people even start feeling giggly when they hold it. It’s just a good crystal to balance you out when you’re going through an episode of depression. Amethyst is very good for connecting back to your mind, especially when you struggle with dissociation and being a scatter brain in general, but citrine lifts you up.
At the risk of sounding weird, I found ur channel and felt so connected to you and then u said citrine is the crystal youre attracted to the most.... thats my go to lol literally have always felt drawn to citrine

I know I’m a little late, but I just wanted to let you know that there are tarot and oracle decks that have guidebooks! They have reversed and unreversed definitions of that one card and it breaks it down very well! I recommend one of these as I got one a couple weeks ago and it made it a lot easier:)

Hi Reese. We went to high school together. I am also into new age spirituality as well. I attend Joyful Gathering Spiritual Center in Collingswood, where we learn about energy and consciousness. It has helped me a lot. I also know of the crystal store your talking about. It is great but kind of expensive😀👍🏻❤️

i found some crystals around my house: ik for certain one is tigers eye and another is rose quartz, and i think another is obsidian and another something i cant remember the name of rn: its really good cause tigers eye is good for manifestation and shifting and the one i cant remember the name of is also good for confidence and motivation

my favourite crystal is obsidian and rose quartz! obsidian because it's one of those crystals that i just feel connected to and rose quartz because i'm trying to let people into my life rather than shutting them all away

I love this!!! The only thing is to keep an eye out for false information like (I really don’t wanna be rude) but in other vlog you bought a crystal that had the 7 color of chakras or something like that, and that (and the chakra alignment) is a VERY westernized manipulation of the actual (Hindi, Buddhist) information by John Woodroffe and Charles Leadbeater :(
not rude! i don’t believe that it actually “aligns” the chakras just because of the colors, i just liked how the colors corresponded with the chakras :-) i would use the pendulum to check which chakras are open/closed and then try to align them with meditation!

I have to add that even if you don't necessarily believe in spirituality or you think it's just unrealistic, manifestation and other spiritual things will find their way to you even if you don't realise it.
every time ive looked at the clock for the last couple of days ive just been seeing angel numbers like 444 and 1111, and a lot of things i have been subconsciously manifesting have been coming true. im super freaked out that this is happening to me as im starting a new school and slowly getting my life back together. so now im doing a lot of research haha. but im kind of scared that my negative mindset will ruin everything.

Since a lot of crystals that end up in metaphysical shops were mined under unsavory conditions, I highly recommend hitting up local rock hounds for crystals. Not only are you supporting a local enthusiast/business that way, but you also know exactly who mined it and where. Not trying to judge people who buy them from crystal shops (I still do sometimes, admittedly), but I figured I’d put that out there.
Also, traversing nearby trails (especially near creeks, rivers, etc.) can yield some cool results in terms of rocks. I recommend leaving an offering (sunflower seeds, dried flowers/herbs, water from your bottle, etc.) in return for whatever you end up taking.
