Why by Derivakat may be my favorite Dream SMP song so far. In my Why - Derivakat reaction I'm checking out the song involving Ghostbur. Ghostbur is a character on the Dream SMP, a minecraft roleplay server. Derivakat has written songs about Technoblade and Karl Jacobs before. They are called Turn Back Time - Derivakat [Dream SMP original song] and Syndicate - Derivakat [Dream SMP original song].
In fact, Derivakat has a whole album called Songs From The SMP that's ABOUT the Dream SMP members. You know the minecraft roleplay is strong from Wilbur Soot and TommyInnit and the Dream SMP to inspire songs like this! Im watching this while my online class is supposed to start.But it was cancelled because some of them and even some teachers said there is some country hacking stuff and we are now supposed to empty our bio on instagram,twitter and others.Atleast there is no online class....Right?

So many people ask where Phil's arc is, because they can't find the monologues or the spiral: it's almost a 1:1 ratio of how he treats Ghostbur. At any given section of the story, his relation to Ghostbur shows his mental state.
This is super insightful, I hadn't thought of using that to look at Philza before
@@YoBGS there's a clip that says a lot and sets up some recent phil and fundy lore. The video is called "philza talks about his son" i think and it's short but poignant

yes but u can tell that the obsdian thing and Ghostbur is there, It's about Phil after he helped in the destruction of l'manburg. The betrayal part is because, he rebuilt l'manburg but then went to Technoblade who is supposed to be their enemy.

I love Derivakat's Songs but there's also this other song about Wilbur getting revived called "Rewritten In Stone" By Amanda Fagan and it's also pretty amazing, you should definitely check it out.
