This video is barely a month old and already it's showing outdated space stations.
Gotta love how insanely fast this game evolves.
An easy way for me to get nanites is once you get your free freighter build a storage room and fill it with X modules from destroying sentinels just finished farming each slot in the box can hold 20 instead of 10 if you sell a full storage box it’ll give you 960k nanites but every 20 sells for 9600 nanites I just took it to the extreme and now don’t ever have to worry about nanites again 🤣❤️
Yeah but you cant do this when starting out the best method straight from the start is still cooking meat stew can easily get you tens of thousands of nanites really early in the game wich can get you all the essential parts and upgrades you need to progress towards this level
I've played 60 hours but this makes no sense to me. You would have to kill sentinels for 60 hours and even then they wouldn't drop enough upgrades to sell. I don't get it
...150 hrs and I didnt even know there was melee
It's that crazy of a game? I've had it installed for months now but just feels so overwhelming to jump in.
Just wait until you melee and jetpack boost at the same time 😉😁
@@chrisodea4020 is this game better than starfield>
@@aspirewot8408 honestly they aren't really the same type of game. Similar idea, different executions. NMS is an exploration/base building type of game with free choice, for the most part. Star Field on the other hand is fun in its own right, but honestly, it's more like Fallout in space
@@aspirewot8408this game is 1000000000x better, bigger, and more fun that Starfield
You can also warp to pirate systems and buy all the smuggled goods. If you visited multiple pirate systems you can teleport between them and collect everything. Then teleport to anyone random of your bases and from there teleport to a regular system and sell the smuggled goods there without having to deal with sentinels by flying around in open space.
And since you get your first freighter pretty early on: send out frigates to expedition as soon as available. Doesn’t really matter what frigates you send as long as your rating is higher than the expedition’s rating.
Also: Salvage ships! Get 5 maps for distress signals, and use all of them. One of them will be an abandoned ship (the one with the orb). Search it and claim it, repair the parts needed for being able to fly, fly directly to the space station and salvage the ship. Leave the other signals untouched. Get a new map and use it, and repeat. There will always only be 5 different types of signals. Always go to the abandoned crashed ship and leave the other signals untouched.
jaw hit the floor at the runaway mold reveal, then endless scream as i think about how many i just middle mouse buttoned out of existence
Keeps getting better
That scanner tip is game changing wow!! I need part 2
This video helped me a lot!
I need part two 🙌
Another incredibly useful video. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
returning after like 3 years, i am completely lost - all i know is i have a freighter that i bought before leaving, a living ship and a chlorine farm haha.
Trade Goods are significantly cheaper at Trade Outposts compared to stations. Fill up a hauler with one type, sell to the system that needs it. Made 100,000 credits easy and discovered new stations each with exosuit upgrades. Set up a base on each economy type in a 3 star system to speed things up.
Love the game...was a big help
thankyou :))
Thanks!!!
Since when was there the option to divert power by pressing up!? I've played this forever and had no idea!!
Also could have suggested the Class B Launcher. Doesn't require fuel it pulls it from the atmosphere. At least it didn't few updates back.
I'm 1 minute in and this already is so much i didn't know. Like deserved, thank you :D
I'm a fresh player who started yesterday
Great to hear you found the video useful! 😁
Even though I got like 80 hours there are still new things to learn xd. For me the slime thing is the best, thanks for the video
Great to hear! :)
As a new player trying to get (back) into the game... This guide is amazing. Thank you (p.s. the reason why i quit was because i got made having to farm nanites. Didnt realize the goo could he useful 😢 now we know
the goat has uploaded
lol, the ego on this cnt
as he pats his simp on the head
It absolutely BLOWS me away that this game is so huge and expansive…….and it’s only like 30gb 😳
Nms assistant app has been a life saver for me
Christ bless you and thank you I've been genuinely stuck in the beginning
My first trip to the Anomally and some guy gave me two stacks of 50 items and each stack sold for @150,000,000 credits lol (Don't remember the exact amount). I think people are able to just give you stuff. I remember when someone hacked GTA 5 and did the same for me lol. They were able to throw bundles of cash all over the place and each stack was worth a lot.
2300 hours on rust need a new game this looks like the one
Dude just jumped in tonight...wow . It's fucking amazing!
I am very new to no mans sky like 3 days in. The game is just what I wanted. I am playing on p
Psvr2. The game looks amazing. But there are a few things I have been unable to find.
1. How do I find other systems to explore.
2. On the awakenings mission it still save to go to base computer I’m not sure even where that is?
Your video was the most helpful to me so far look forward to more. Thanks
The base computer is something that you build that basically tells the game hey this is where my bases at to find other systems to explore is pretty simple. Hopping your ship. Go to space click down on the pad open the galaxy map or whatever it’s called and then find a system close to you that you can warp too. It will tell you if you’re trying to go too far away you will need different ship upgrades, depending on what type of star you’re trying to travel to as well and you will need the fuel to make the trip and the warp drive upgrade for your ship.
If you play on the new standard and can't buy oxygen to refine salt or cobalt you should start a oxygen farm asap even a rank c will still give you a decent boost in cash this with gathering bones or ships and missions will get you a decent chunk for a better ship then focus on missions
Do you know no any ways to reduce lag when leaving/entering planets? I have no lag anywhere else in the game but where ever I enter or leave a planet the game will freeze for 2-3 seconds. Not that big of a problem but kinda hurts the immersion. Thank you
Hey there! What platform are you on?
I started playing no man’s sky yesterday I haven’t played it for a long long time since it was released so I’m still pretty new
Anyways I found a sentinel and was like “easy fight”… I started to get overrun Ed in the ground so I went into space … that was a mistake since I had just started and there was no safe place and I ended up fighting a sentinel cruiser ….i managed to escape and went back to the ground where more sentinel were and I was getting chased from a sentinel mech and my ship had no launch fuel
I managed to get some launch fuel and flew off again and then …another sentinel cruiser came by … I died … it was pretty traumatizing
Helpful video, link aint workin' for refining recipe website
Glad it was useful!
That refiner website seems to be blocked in some regions. Also works only on desktop for me which is odd...
@@AverageGameReviews Actually, for me it seems the emoji on the end of the URL got added to it when I clicked the link. I had to edit the address to remove the random characters
@@JonathanA Thanks for pointing this out! I've removed that emoji.
À so call friend in ate me to his base. It's verry hot and die immediately. What can I do
8 hours in and I realize I know absolutely nothing about this game
@Average Game Reviews
Fighting the Sentinels on the ground is broken as when you dig as deep as the game allows for you cannot escape the drones as they just keep magically detecting you no matter how far you travle underground or how deep you go! We even backfilled our tunnel on the way down and no luck they just kept decting us and so the only way to get rid of the drones was to log off and wait 5 minutes and log back in despite the rediculously long dial up waiting load times!
How do you get to or unlock the anomaly?
Follow the main missions to upgrade your ship for travel and respond to the messages you get to find someone, you’ll end up there. It looks like a black moon but is actually a space station 😺
Welp, looks like you gotta make a new guide that includes ship customization and salvaging. 😅
The Devs are too good! Anything I make gets outdated 4 times over each year 😂
@Average Game Reviews also youre website that you mentioned in the video and linked does not exsist!
Thank you for letting me know! I will look into that :)
@@AverageGameReviews if you can get it working it really would be awesome to have at hand.

Just a quick question, I recently started playing NMS again. I went back to my base and talk to the exocraft tech about doing one of those unit skimming runs and he tells me to follow the signal but there is absolutely nothing there. I've used the roamer's scanner and it doesn't give me the option of what I'm looking for, like I said it's been a while can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Have you checked your mission log? There is a mission chain with each specialist, exocraft, weapon, overseer etc. It's sounds like you may have started that, but it should show up in the log.
@@chrisodea4020 yea that was my next step after trying to scan for it and all he does is yell at me about how time is running out. I mean I finished all specialist mains so I don't really care just kinda bugs me a little.
@@Slowmo1231 huh, yeah that's weird. I'll look around and see what I come up with and will let you know. I know it's not ideal, but if you start a new game with a new expedition or whatever, you may have a little more luck. I know I've had some bad luck in the past with really old saves after a few big updates.
@@chrisodea4020 appreciate that, I'm at the end of the main story I just have done the rebirth or whatever it's called which if I remember right basically starts the game over although that probably wouldn't fix the issue if it just over writes an old save. I'll try a new save see if that does anything.
Part 2 ?!?!?!?!
Went from xbox to playstation the day this game was released it was such a disappointment but I just started playing again and I don't think I can stop im 100% hooked do I need a doctor 😂
is there a part 2??
Not yet! Sorry for the delay
@@AverageGameReviews its alright you're doing a great job 👍
@AverageGameReviews You lil tease, I questioned everything I knew about youtube looking for it. Great video mate!
@@andymilne2639 Haha, apologies man! I'll get round to it at some point...
Glad you liked the video though!
i liked the game but i there is no late game, base building at all? like i just don't know what the point of the game was...
You just fly around doing random stuff?
i don't get it! am i missing the whole point?
best way to get money: just afk at the anomaly, people always give others like 10 of the most expensive items in the game
Na, this is not deep and complicated for me 😂
Really wanted to try on vr but it seems like a mind fuck. If it was more user friendly, I’d give it a go.
I get where you're coming from but it's worth sticking with it! The game really does get better as you understand it more. Can be a steep learning curve though 🤣
@@AverageGameReviews would you say this is the type of game anyone can possibly play not know what the hell to do and still have fun?
Or do I absolutely need to learn everything to be able to progress?
Take destiny for instance, you can just play story and strikes missions and it don’t matter about light level and gear. You can just mess about and have some fun.
I don’t know why but I’ve always had a problem remembering stuff that seems complicated. I’ve watched a few tips videos and I can not remember the name of any of the materials, what they used for or how and where to get them.
@@grahamkelly8662 To be honest, before making videos like these I didn't know a lot of this stuff existed in the game! Yet I still enjoyed it. You can definitely have fun without learning *everything*, however spending some time watching tutorials and on the Fandom does help you find and understand the most fun bits of the game!!
Also, the custom difficulty settings let you get around the stuff you don't like - resource farming perhaps.
@@AverageGameReviews sweet. I may check it out. Is there proper gun and ship combat? Or is it really basic?
Oh and do you play no man’s sky in Vr? If so, how is it regarding possible motion sickness? Some games like thumper vr , zombie land etc are fine for me because I’m not spinning camera. Just staying stationary but I’ve never played a game in spaceship and I’m not sure how I’ll fair. Especially when ships speed up.
I still might try the game even if it is badly motion sickness inducing because even though I’m not really into flat games, if this game clicks with me like the incredible Returnal, then id be more then happy to play on tv is vr is too intense it the thought of sitting in my ship and looking around me on open space, sounds thrilling.
@@grahamkelly8662 I don't play the game in VR, but it is fully compatible. Flying in any VR game can be a motion sickness trigger from my experience. I found with my VR I became less prone to feeling sick once I used it more.
Ship combat is good! Ground combat with guns is more basic. More info in my review of the game on the channel 😁
I got 600.000.000 of of stealing from freighters
As a new player trying to get into the game… this guide is awful.
As someone who started yesterday: you're talking out of your ass. This is SO HELPFUL OMG
@@steviemasterlmao yeah btw how do you get to a space station?
@SkullBeast3000 I mean the game walks you through that.
@@ghostlandered oh lol I still haven't set a home planet that's why probably
@SkullBeast3000 every space station will have a golden donut icon that appears on your screen when you're in space.
Maybe consider slowing down your talking. Could be easier to follow your video.
Lol, cant keep up?
This video sounds like one gigantic sentence, and only can make sense for someone who has already played it for many hours. You CAN NOT squeeze a tutorial for this enormously complex game in 10 minutes, you just end up pissing people off. Utterly useless. If you had any experience in tutoring anyone, in anything, you would know that you need structure - what, WHY, how and when need to be spread out starting from the main goal of what you're trying to achieve, break it up in main categories, then dissect each in meaningful order.
Would’ve been great advice if you didn’t sound like a douche while giving it
Where's your tutorial video?
@@FU_SU_LU haven't made one yet! I'm really good at complaining tho, and REALLY SUCK at this game, so naturally... I did thumb up it!
This game is so tedious, not for me. Will probably refund it
LOL, this is NOT a beginners guide.
Helped me out, as a beginner
@@michaelvanniekerk2104 learning how to make launch fuel would have been a beginner lesson....
One of the worst games ever. All mining games are just absolute rubbish to me.
