    And seeing her behavior you can understand why he broke up with her.
    Even if she's mentally ill it's no excuse for trapping someone in a car with you so you can force them to sit through an adult sized temper tantrum.
    He should call the cops and file a restraining order and if she violates that order, she goes to jail.
    He should invest in cameras for his home as well in case she is unstable enough to try breaking into his place at some point.
    Stalkers are only satisfied with watching from afar for so long before they make a move on their victim.

    She might have BPD cause this is how some people with BPD act when they feel rejected / abandoned. Some people with BPD don’t know how to regulate their emotions, so they’re start to stalk the person they feel like is abandoning them, & will start to “throw tantrums” cause the emotion becomes way to much for them. They feel like they need their partner to feel okay about themselves too. She needs to go to therapy & work in it cause it can cause her to harm herself or others 😬. I feel bad for both of them.

    • @TravellerZasha
      @TravellerZasha ปีที่แล้ว

      Maybe, but there's a lot more to BPD (i.e chronic feelings of emptiness, identity disturbance, suicidal/self-harming behavior,) that it's hard to tell just from this one video. She does share a lot from the criteria but we don't even fully know if she has abandonment issues. She does need therapy though, this isn't normal to be acting in public.

      Well the thing is, I live with someone like this and she constantly denies she has any mental problems and proceeds to abuse people around her, so maybe don’t feel so bad for this woman… she’s clearly harassing/abusing this man and abuse has no excuse. We’ve tried to help her so many times and every single time she breaks expensive shit in order to make my dad financially unstable, she keeps me from school near the last days or weeks. She does so many fucked up shit to bring us down because we don’t want her around. So please don’t feel bad for possible narcissistic women like this. They don’t deserve it if they don’t want to help themselves.

  • @Strawberriezrule13
    @Strawberriezrule13 ปีที่แล้ว +177

    I think the ex has BPD, which is correlated with childhood trauma. Doesn't excuse her behavior in the slightest; just adding context. To people with BPD, the feeling of being rejected/abandoned (regardless of whether that rejection/abandonment is real or imagined) feels like the end of the(ir) world. They have a very weak/unstable sense of self, which forces them to rely on others' esteem of them, especially when they grow attached to someone special. Then the fear of adandonment trumps everything. I hope she seeks mental health treatment that can provide her with the tools to cope; the condition can be very painful to life with, and can even underlie harm/abuse to partners. I hope the person filming stays safe too; that relationship was no doubt a rollercoaster, and nobody deserves to be yelled at, stalked, harrassed, or abused by an adult unable to process their own emotions. Hope he heals as well

      Yeah my mom goes on a sewer side-al rant all the time and claims all of her kids hate her and never want to be around her. It honestly IS hard to be around her, especially when she was drinking everyday cause she's an angry drunk, and if she drinks than you know she's not taking her medication...
      Everytime I'm with her we fight because she's always mad at something. I'm pretty sure toddlers have better anger management. If she's not mad than she's sad and saying how she's pathetic and how the world has treated her the worst and nobodys suffering can equate to hers and if she's not sad than she's suddenly super confident saying she's the best salesperson this world has seen.
      She stopped drinking for this past year and she's almost been like my mom again. But it was temporary, she was waiting for her liver to heal I guess? But now she started drinking again and we've been getting hysterical calls nearly everyday from her.
      I wish she'd realize how much better her life was when she's off alcohol. She had much fewer episodes and just genuinely seemed happier and more carefree.
      Sigh...sorry for venting

She had to know where he was and be with him at all times. He finally dumped her, getting a restraining order, when she didn't call out to him asking where he was/doing when he went to the toilet. Instead his small mad woman destroyed a solid wooden 2+ inch thick 1930's internal door, wooden door frame and part of an internal brick and mortar wall to get to him in the bathroom without saying a word. It cost the dude's parents £10k to fix the damage and their insurance of course sued the girl's family for the damage. That girl was NUTS and still tries to contact my sister's friend to get back together 20+ years later 😨

Being in a state like this, she is likely suicidal at that moment as well, because she doesn't give a shit about being recorded or anything else. I've studied psychology and worked with patients who have episodes like this. I am passionate about it because I've been this way myself. And people are degrading, laughing at, and mocking her. No, she is not able to control anything in this state. This is what mental sickness can actually do to you. This isn't "stupidity" or a lack of logic, these are extreme, absolutely heart-wrenching, severe uncontrollable emotions, and she is literally begging for help. She cannot do anything in this state, as you like to imagine. If you don't know what it's like, better not have misinformed assumptions.
      I'm sorry but showing this as "entertainment" is going over the line. Nobody seems to know what they're actually seeing here. It's honestly disturbing to me. I could write forever, but people like being "justly" sadistic and mock people with a sense of superiority. Just how humans are. With everything I've went through and seen in my life, it truly hurts to see this kind of judgement. A woman's worst mental state is actually being displayed as amusement on the internet. If you can't see anything wrong with that, I can't help you. You'd have to experience it for yourself or learn from the people who have.

    Not defending her, but I’m fairly certain she has BPD. I have BPD as well, and I know that sad, pathetic flail all to well. The thing is- there are two kinds of people with BPD: normal people who have bad moments cause they have been through a lot, and toxic people who have been through a lot and don’t learn cause they’re selfish.
    You can tell by how many times the person with BPD sincerely (and calmly) apologizes to you afterwards- cause we truly feel extreme guilt after things like this if we’re normal, nice people.
    It comes from experiencing multiple abandonments and a lot of trauma in life, and it’s an incredibly painful disorder that makes you feel like you’re dying when people reject you (it’s not JUST that, but that’s just a big portion of it). It pretty much causes your emotions to be so strong, it feels like you’re going to explode (and no- you can’t control them, they just come out like vomit).
    However, I stopped acting like that at….. 15? So she seems like she has no plans to change her behavior- probably cause it gets her what she wants. You have to find coping mechanisms… so you don’t…. Do this. That’s why I play video games- I take my pain out on my computer (the poor thing lol!!) ☺️

      If you stopped acting like that at 15 then maybe your BPD symptoms were never severe to begin with/or you definitely got a shit ton of help with your symptoms early on, so you learned how to cope before they could develop further. My therapist once said "Everyone experiences BPD symptoms sometimes in their life especially during puberty, so it's hard to really tell if you even have BPD at that age or not"
      I am diagnosed with BPD. I agree with your statements about the way you described how the disorder feels sometimes. However as someone who still has these behaviors even after puberty and being an adult now It's not that simple to change. I have been going through DBT for around 4 months now and I gotta say it definitely helps to control this kind of behavior, but even then it still requires more than years of learning on how to change your behavior. Also not saying that the girl in the video has BPD, but even if she did, she might not even know about it. Not everyone is informed.
      But yes I totally agree with what you have wrote. Most BPD people don't even mean to do these behaviors, and it truly does sometimes come out like vomit we cannot control. It's really really just torture, but it's also torturous towards our loved ones and the people around us. Not everyone can handle it, so sometimes I even push people away on purpose so I can stop hurting them.
      Still doesn't excuse her actions. But maybe she should really look into some behavioral therapy. Unless like you said, she has no plans to do so and just uses these behaviors to get whatever she wants.

So we already have the potential to lose It a little bit but when you add mental health issues, you get stuff like this, total meltdowns. If this girl feels like thos alot, she should seek help! This is signs of a serious hormone disorder that is getting out of control. The way she moves erratically and it hyperventilating. Her brain is completely breaking down on itself in the face of stress.
    Just hope she gets some help so the poor guy can get some much needed rest! I was almost 30 when I was finally diagnosed. I honestly just thought I was crazy and just a baby compared to others but nope, turns out it was brain problems. I'm just being myself and that's to much for people sometimes, especially when I have episodes like this where I'm just totally broken and lost. That being said, as another girl with autism, I think it is the fact that school barely believed autistic men existed, let alone women. I don't think the rate of autism is greater for either gender, but doctors are very eager to diagnose it in men and women seem better at faking emotions. The fact we start with none is a wonderful gift...but sadly our world is not kind, nor caring. All emotions are fake chemical responses which try to control people. This may be my ignorance showing, but last time I checked plenty of autistic people had few emotional difficulties per se; if anything they were more honest, they just struggled to read social subtext (i.e. a lot of nonverbal cues that neurotypical people take for granted).
      Emotions are a signal and an intrinsic part of most sentient life. Humans are not exempt from the limbic system. Framing the narrative in terms of 'controlling' - if a person lets transient emotion cloud their judgment, that seems more like a lack of self-awareness or impulse control, not a problem with emotion itself. Without emotion there would be no empathy or altruism, either. If they're acting bad and being a brat then yes punishment/discipline is necessary, but by telling them you'll give them a reason to cry if they're upset about something implies that they never had a reason in the first place. Sure, not getting candy at the grocery store might not be a GOOD reason, but they're still upset about it and you should still be understanding unless they're doing something like what you mentioned, screaming and crying. But otherwise, if they shed a few tears I don't think they're doing any harm by it, but that could also be what op was saying I'm not sure

  • @yuno3977
    @yuno3977 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I don think that the approach you took here pegasus was the best, I mean the girl was very clearly having a very severe crisis and the guy instead of getting her help or calling the police, he recorded her and farmed views out of her misery, it's one thing being desperate but this aint it dude. the woman is VERY CLEARLY sick and needs help and even if her crisis was let out through intense screams of desperation towards her ex, I still believe that she really needed assistance, from anybody even her ex. She was nuts but for different reasons than you might thing. Sometimes people do get sick and have breakdowns and this is a core example of one.
    I do realize that stalking him and all that stuff was creepy, but that only furthermore proofs that she was sick and she needed help, all this "scummy" behavior is justified by one reason or another, I'm not saying she doesn't need to punished, but what I'm saying is she needs to be also treated, mental health is a thing and you of all ppl should know it.
    just to sum up my point: I think the guy was wrong for not taking quick action towards the girl, and you were also wrong for thinking that people just do this sh*t with complete rationality in their brains because the girl in this case was very clearly ill.

    Finally the time I had time to comment.
    But all of these, I kinda feel the point of her, due to probably because they were in a long relationship or such, and also what Pegasus said, one key rule to relationships, never ever give your self worth, this is where you go if it happens
    also, I had a friend like that, they're been in a relationship for a really long time, he had given his self worth over her, to the point he gets jealous over something small, I keep saying thats unhealthy, and you're probably unprepared, hell, even one of my friends kept saying that to him, he didn't listen, and he had a mental breakdown alot of times, just because of the relationship
    What's the point of saying my friends' experience with this video? DON'T GIVE YOUR SELF WORTH TO SOMEONE YOU'RE OBSESSED.
    Edit: I've also watched the video, I've been in the same boat back then, but when my ex and I meet again, we just kinda chill cause we realize how badly it would go if we stay like that, and he honestly started talking again as a friend, cause I don't mind.
