Cleanly deflecting air over that distance, is not possible. That'll create so much turbulence. You're just increasing drag is all. Put it in a wind tunnel and prove me wrong.
I tow a 20 ft Jayco slx7. As the video states, it aids in aero dynamics. I have no bugs on the front of the trailer, only on the front sides. Does it make it 100 percent better, no. But it does help, and I can increase economy by 3 to 5 mpg. I'm not a scientist, and I have no lab. Only real world results. I also tow with a GMC Acadia.
A rip-off, paid $275 and can’t even put it on the roof because I don’t have a roof rack. So that would cost me another $200 plus dollars. The defector is not wide enough to fit an VW Amarok. So it’s useless to me.
Tow ball weight will increase with speed as well due to the downforce generated.

False. I have one and there are no bugs on my trailer front, and my mpg is up by 5.
