6. COLD.METAL.PLACE Jami: “This is the environment in which I see the main character being birthed from. It’s this technological hell that is represented on this record by what I like to call ‘The whispering souls,’ which is this buzzing voice of opinion and constant criticism and positivity and just noise that you’re always hearing. It’s very impactful not only in the way we make art, but make all of our decisions now.” Reba: “Sonically, it sets the mood for the darker side of the record. It was also one of the first songs we wrote and it’s where we started creating the landscape for the way we wanted the heavy songs to sound.” Jami: “A digital manipulation of heavy music while still keeping the heart and soul of hard music.”
Whispering souls placate the herd....bruh...the lyrics through the album are awesome, might be my favourite album ever honestly. I found these guys/girl like 2 months ago and I’ve listened to this album at least once every day for the past two months
And in the end, when all hope seemed to be lost…someone has finally pick up the flag of hardcore and is charging relentlessly to deliver what has been needed for so long

@@adamtheawesomeperson6490 Nah, they stopped being hardcore when Reba discovered Pantera/Sepultura and wanted to start playing solos. You lose, metal wins.
I think that what sets Code Orange apart from other bands in this genre. The industrial components of their unique sound. It’s not for everyone clearly
I just can't get over how much better the vocals are on this album.
I miss the occasional growls tho.
@@BrunoAdolfski There's growls all over his album though.
Funny what a little more money brings in huh
@@captainchaos6812 and a new drummer too

This is the one
Dimebag and Quake 2 vibes
Its the first time i really feel like i have been missing out on something special... holy jimminy crickets this is good
And in the end, when all hope seemed to be lost…someone has finally pick up the flag of hardcore and is charging relentlessly to deliver what has been needed for so long
this is a masterpiece
IT’S DRAGGING ME UNDER
If you liked this track, thought the guitars were significantly better live on Last Ones Left: In Fear of the End, so I'd definitely check that out.
Holy moly! 🔥
Just saw them play this song live. Absolutely massive
This is some metal ass metal.
Code.Fucking.Orange 🔪
Thinners.OfThe.Herd 🔪🔪
That next level shit 🤯
This whole album fuckin jams
That main riff reminds me of Slipknot's Iowa era and I love it.

This is metalcore for metal heads
Absolutely nasty
Can’t stop head banging
Edit: never mind, I prefer hardcore
It's called hardcore punk,
Adam the Awesome person
And what is Hardcore with metallic elements called?
METALCORE or DEATHCORE
@@adamtheawesomeperson6490 Nah, they stopped being hardcore when Reba discovered Pantera/Sepultura and wanted to start playing solos. You lose, metal wins.
I usually hate metalcore, but this is something else entirely. This is already my favorite album of 2020.
@@thefilmeffect6089 as a metalcore fan I wouldn't say this is the best release in the genre, but I love the industrial elements
Holy shit is all I can say they know what's up
Nidoqueen, I choose you! (00:01)
Yeuh!!!
Most memorable songs from SlipKnot, besides Slipknot

Man I missed the Livestream..... :(
Still available on Twitch.
Its on TH-cam too
!!!
Pinched harmonics reminds me of Immolation a bit.
Big respect dude, Immolation are legitimate gods of metal, true masters of their craft
Good shit... so nasty
This album makes me want to fight
So glad that corona virus happened. I'm listening to this.
wat
Now listen on 1.25x
Thankyou
The last breakdown in 0.75x is so insane
Dan ganas de matar!!!!!! I love this shit!
creepy
Okay Slipknot
Guitars remind me of Bringer of Blood by Six Feet Under
The senseless glitchy shit is a major turnoff. But the squealing guitars towards the end kind of saves it.
lets agree to disagree. I find it inventive, jarring and reminiscent of having poor dial up in the '00s
I agree but bad ass song nonetheless, that’s what is keeping code orange from being perfect
true that its annoying
