Definitely enjoyed my time with this one. I love some of the small changes and the play on the name. The DLC bezel was a nice design choice as well! The orange MN is a perfect strap for this one.
I so much appreciate you 1) keeping reasonable distance from the watch and not zoomed onto the dial, gives a better sense of proportion and aesthetic of the overall watch and 2) showing side by side comparison against more common dive watches. It's baffling how 99.9% of watch videos screw this up. The cute duck logo won me over and am getting one.

This is such a cool watch! You can never, ever go wrong with a day-glow orange minute hand lol. For me, the case shape is reminiscent of the CWC Royal Navy Diver, with the big sexy crown guards, etc. Besides NATOs, maybe a good option would be a chunky leather strap, which would obfuscate the big gap between the spring bar and case a bit. For the entire duration of this review, I was tapping my foot to the Magnum P.I. theme song playing in my head! I know that you own a black, red & orange striped helicopter, Pete! Your secret's out!!! Great review

I see Momentum watches has a Sea Quartz that looks just like this one for $259. The founder of Momentum watches owned Chronosport back in the day. Just thought you might like to know if you didn't already.
The Momentum cannot claim Swiss Made.
Its an amazing watch. Steve turned me on to it and it's now in my regular rotation. I love it.

Man this is a really cool watch. That solid black bezel looks better than the other ones I see on the internet with the raw stainless grippy part. Love how this case shape is somewhere between classic tapered lugs and a cushioney turtle. And I like your douchebaggery LOL

I’ve got the original Magnum PI series on DVD in and I’m still trying to read the name of the cheap quartz dive watch Tom Selleck had in season one, they do a close-up shot of his watch in one scene. Later seasons he had a what looked like a Rolex submariner with a steel oyster strap

The genuine Chronosport watches are very collectable and worth thousands
There is only one REAL Magnum PI series.....the first, not that ripoff copy! By the way, I had a Chronosport UDT watch. Wore it 20 years and sold it for twice what I paid for it......which if I remember was around 800 dollars. Chronosports were NOT cheap watches!

You mentioned these being only available on EBAY. However, I am unable to find them there, nor with a google search. Can you tell me where to get one? I was considering the MWC but it does not say, "Swiss made," (although they appear to be assembled in Germany with a RONDA movement).

Ever since I got my promaster tough, I can't understand quartz thickness like this here. 13mm for a quartz? Nah, that doesn't fly anymore.
This watch would be like a dinner plate if it was thin. Proportions are everything.
I don’t like this version due to changes made to the original such as the dlc bezel. Also looks like a steel bezel, the original had a mineral crystal bezel.
Can you get it with a real bracelet or just the fugly dog collar strap?

I have the original Chronosports UDT watch that was issued to me while in the Marine Corps in 1990. Better than this tho.
In what ways is it better? Obviously sentimentally! But I'm curious because the udt has less water resistance and a mineral crystal.
