    I love my Mandello S. Only had it a month but it's an awesome bike. In the big city, it seems cops follow me around, waiting on me to open the throttle and break the speed limit. I set it on cruise and they give up after a bit. I love how it slices through the air with cross winds blowing me around, not the bike. Semi buffeting is non-existent. I've added a few minor things with more to come later.

    Lovely bike …very tight and solid feeling ,head turning beauty …however i only kept mine for 6 months ..the gearbox was horrible . the massive clunk into first from neutral and then the difficulty getting it back into neutral as well .the “Guzzi” charm wore very thin very quickly ..

    • @MotoMischiefs
      @MotoMischiefs  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah about that, on my V85, it took 2500 miles for the gear box to properly brake in, after that it was magic. One of the viewers who traveled a lot on the V100 made the same comment, said after about 2500 - 3000 miles is when the tranny seemed to get better and better. It seems to be a "Guzzi thing" aka slow burn ... lol. Hopefully you are happy with your new bike, all that matters in the end.

    I love mine. The trip round Scotland was a blast. The warranty issue is being fixed this week - so not too bad after all. I don't take Yammie Noob seriously. Got her home but it's been around -6C the last few days and living in the middle of the countryside there's black ice everywhere. From Tuesday onwards looking good. So have I have only had a test ride so far. Both solo and with my wife on the back too. She said it is really comfortable for her and she feels safe with the well-positioned grab rails. So did the new tires fix the twitchy feel at the back? Typically that is a suspension issue. Other review criticized that the Ohlins semi active felt softer than base suspension and wasn’t worth in their opinion.

    • @MotoMischiefs

      Since my track day got canceled for weather, I am still on the original OEM tires. I played more with the suspension and seem to have found a setting that works for me with the rear shock adjusted towards the softer side. The front has never been a problem so far.

      I would agree, having the XSR 900 in my stable at the moment and knowing what a great bike it is. However, like I mentioned in my intro video for the channel of the XSR 900, these bikes are almost too perfect with no drama or emotions / character at all. That is where the Guzzi charm & character comes into play for me personal. As a daily, I take the Yamaha any day but for enjoying the ride to its fullest I have come to love my Guzzi and Scrambler with their own "attitudes & quirks". Btw, I did bench the GSX S1000 GT aginst the V100 and did not buy it for the very same reason. If I were to buy a jap touring bike, that would be my choice, albeit it is impressive how much tech yamaha put into the new 9 GT.
