John McClane i am not a hipster, with that being said, you have to understand, when criticism is the most notable part of a song or video, everyone hates it. if this was mainstream it would kill the unique feel to it, and most people would not like it, being the few who actually don't like it or the hungry trolls, of which there are many. i really like it but i enjoy the feeling that something has a well pronounced name if that makes sense.
it's surprising nattens madrigal came after bergtatt and kveldssanger, considering it's so raw. bergtatt, even though it's their first one, sounds like a cross between nattens and kveldssanger.
I know what your saying, most bands do different styles then combine them later on, but Ulver did the opposite making a black/folk metal album then a pure folk and pure black metal record as follow ups
this is the new ulver sound so if you wanna only talk about black metal go listen to black metal if you wanna improve you must experiment with music not do only one tip of music
Seriously!? A cover?? Yes, the Beatles did have a song with the same title long ago. It had a trippy electronic sound, and can be arguably be considered the first song in the "electronic" music genre. Written way back in 1966, it predates this genre by a long shot. Anyway, this song virtually bares no resemblance to that Beatles song at all. Maybe they just named the song out of tribute or something.
top 5 best outros ever in music history
How the fuck this isn't mainstream is beyond my feeble mind. I am not worthy. God this shit is great.

Amazing song.
My favorite Ulver song. Been with them since Bergtatt.
dxpttt my name is the album. Yes. Nice to notice it ;)
Me too. Bergtatt is one of my favourite albums and it's perfect mix of Black Metal and Folk music make it innovative in it's own right
this is one of the best albums ever
soundtrack for night.

Is not a cover. Just same title. I am glad of this song

heavy stuff !
:to tepess1000,
couldn't agreed more with you on that one, its magical
the outro to this song sounds like Silent Hill music.

myself I prefer their first albums such as: Bergtatt - Et Eeventyr i 5 Capitler, Kveldssanger and Nattens Madrigal - Aatte Hymne til Ulven i Manden.
@ballersack What makes you think it's a cover?
beatles? surender to the void? or what?
@truth there were plenty of guys in the mid 50's making stricly electronic music with rooms full of modular synthesizers.... Soooo you're wrong.....

ou est la maison du fromage?
@puffintuffer and they say the american idols finalists are stupid for not knowing the beatles
that cover art makes me uncomfortable, but i don't know why. ;)
sub·lime "b : to convert (something inferior) into something of higher worth"

@ballersack Beatles cover of this song? THEY WROTE THE SONG! THIS is a cover, and it isn't even a good one!
@puffintuffer The Beatles are the band who wrote this song. This is a piss-poor cover of it.
