What’s worse is people on instagram bully her about it. People have told her to try fentanyl. They tell her to “just eat the damn food” that she’s just a picky eater and her disease isn’t real. They say her mom is a bad mom for putting her on the internet because people have said “smash” in the comments. Really it’s so sad.
Love Hannah. She's a sweet and kind young girl. She's so cute. I'm happy that this story ended happily. I wish that reality was like this, having the bully realize what they did was wrong. I've been bullied before for being different too. I kept quiet about it and even when a teacher did catch the bully harassing me, it made things worse. It's just sad that life doesn't work in the way these videos work.

Sadly it is, when my son was 2.5 years old he became afraid of eating all food. He went from 70 percentile in weight to 3rd in a matter of months. He went from 34 lbs to 27 lbs. All because he was afraid to eat because he thought it would make him vomit. Thankfully after feeding therapy, Occupational Therapy and a lot of prayer!! He's doing so much better! He is st the 50th percentile for weight still struggles with some foods, but eats enough to be gaining weight and growing. He's small for his age, but he's catching up. ARFID is scary and can strike without much notice. Every stomach she he gets were concerned he won't want to eat again.
hannah has helped many people on her journey, im so happy she came across my feed, she really does truly inspire me. i love watching how far shes going on her journey. her story is heartbreaking and heart warming at the same time. such a sweet little girl
My friend grew up with arfed and it was really hard to get him to eat. He would vomit often and be very small. I’m very happy with how accurate Dhar Mann made someone with Arfed to be. 👏👏

ARFID stands for Avoidant/Restructive Food Intake Disorder, which means you only can't eat a few foods, not all. For example, if your fear food is eggs, you could also just take vitamins and supplements to help with the recovery. ARFID is an ED as much as all other EDs are, just a little different. @@Eggooooooo

As someone with arfid, the title is not exactly what arfid is. It’s more like “girl is sensitive to food” because I’m not scared of food, it’s more like if every taste, smell, etc, of food was 100x stronger except for the foods that your confortable with, and you can taste things that your not even eating, that’s more what arfid is like. And also Arfid can make you lack nutrients, and make you more skinny (not model shinny like unhealthy skinny) (Edit: I’m sorry that I got some info wrong 😅 I meant more that arfid *usually* isn’t the fear of food, it’s more likely sensitivity, so putting it in that box is false bc not everyone with arfid is scared of food. But Thank you guys for informing me!)

Arfid is different for everyone because there’s also different types. Hannah has all 3 types. I also have ARFID and have all 3 types. Now for me I am actually scared of food because I’m also scared of the implications eg choking, getting sick, becoming allergic etc

It depends on the child. When my daughter has a flare up, she becomes afraid certain foods will make her sick or she will choke.
Arfid is different for everyone because there’s also different types. Hannah has all 3 types. I also have ARFID and have all 3 types. Now for me I am actually scared of food because I’m also scared of the implications eg choking, getting sick, becoming allergic etc
