@@FarmerGwynvery few well-intentioned people want to become the leader of a movement. For understandable reasons. Federation of responsibility is best. Putting the truth out can naturally create that dynamic. Armed with knowledge, people will create their own movements. This is a worldwide problem with very similar roots wherever it’s taken hold. Here in the USA, the solution starts with getting money out of politics. Maybe it’s the same somewhere else, but getting there is different. Locally grown solutions are more effective. We are hardwired to look for a leader in hard times… but we have to resist that urge and play by the rules of the modern day whenever we seek solutions to a problem that spans several cultures, governments, languages, etc. No single leader can manage this.
I found you because of your appearance on Pod save the UK. Appearances like that seem important to me. What you said there was so compelling that I sought out the channel 🙂

Your channel is one I look forward to seeing every week. There isn’t any other content I’ve seen on TH-cam that rivals the quality of knowledge about economics and about why our lives are getting harder to live with. Rather than the typical fear mongering of the current media landscape, you choose to educate others and bring much needed awareness around important issues. And that is critical - we need awareness to bring much needed change.
It's interesting, while I agree with you I literally just responded to someone saying he clearly isn't as rich as he 'claims' judging by the kitchen he's in. smh
Hey, Gary. Glad you’re back. My Sundays have been a drag for the last few months! Look, mate. You can’t change the financial discourse of the world. I can’t change it, but *we* can. People, lots of people, can shift a discourse. We did it a century ago and we can do it again-because we have no choice. Rentier capitalism was defeated once before, which means it is not invincible. It was and is formidable, but so are regular people when they’re organized. Keep at it, man. There are a lot of us around the world who care about what you care about!
You voice the views that I've been having for about thirty years now. I could see the beginnings of what is happening now all those years ago. Go for it Gary
You are absolutely right.I have worked as a doctor in the NHS for over 30 years. For almost everything you say about economics one could substitute the word ‘health.’ Product placement by Big Pharma in the media, including to their shame the front cover of the Economist a few weeks ago, confuses. Politics influences healthcare just as much as it does economics, untruths are spread widely, access to a healthy life is almost entirely dependent on access to personal wealth. The size of a lobbying group matters tho at the same time ‘it’s only individuals that make a difference’
Health, education social care. 10 years of navigating the system for children the LA was part of tbe MDT for diagnoses, and ehcp, as toddlers. The hardest part is the withholding of information, in order it seems to keep down expectation, to save budget. This means the journey to find whats needed takes longer. Every time something does not seem right, we have learnt what we needed, and used the system of recourse, every time we have been been proven right. With the money there, which is was cut harshly to finance reduction in corporation tax, and by many other means not kept up with the need, directly and indirectly, it's not used effectively or sits in the wrong areas. All focus needs to be on the frontline provsion in all areas. And having seen some LA departments accounts, that is not the case. Having had to fight for everything even though need is obvious and complex, You get to see where it's lost and no value added. Tribunals, lgsco, court, The misuse of the social care systems to push through parental balme and CP, It's cost. Huge amounts. And adds no value. But if instead Thst money went on actual provsion, those systems would not be needed as much. the amount of social care and educational needs not met that end up in the NHS... It's put strain on the NHS, and it can and does have devastating consequence for the patients, students, the people, and those that care for them. We are grateful for those that have stuck this terrible time out. Even if they can change nothing. But just treat people with dignity throught The difficulties.
As a non medical person it seems to me the NHS has gone backwards ever since it was created. I was born before the NHS was created and have watched over the years how the cost of the health system has continued to rise as a percentage of the economy. eople re siker earlier in life than hey used to be when I was growing up in the UK. There is a lot of evidence that the food we eat these days, is no longer fit for the perpose of keeping us health, although it is great for increasing GDP. To me that is the issue hat is aat the bottom of this monumental problem in the economy. If you keep on thinking that constaly increasing the growth of GDP is the solution, then we as a sociaty are doomed to exiction.

I would love to see you and Senator Bernie Sanders sit down for a discussion on worldwide inequality.
We love your videos here in Australia. Our economic situation is similar to Britain's and we also have a Labor government that is not able to change the situation.
I think that to some degree the BBC made Nigel Farage. He was on question time every other week in the year leading up to Brexit. He was interviewed on the news channels more than most MPs. It was relentless. And it changed the political landscape of the UK. I don't think most people cared too much about the EU, or immigration that much, before Farage. But with what seemed to be multiple TV appearances every week, his anti-EU, anti-immigration views became the most important political topics in the country. The mainstream parties responded to his popularity and pushed the same policies to win votes. He has defined politics for a decade. One man did that, albeit with a lot of support from the media. You need to do this Gary. We need to get you on question time every other week. Like Farage a few years ago, we need the BBC and other news channels to get your opinion on every flipping news story that they run. Five times a week. To explain why people's living standards are really falling. To explain why we have poor and failing public services despite fairly high rates of tax. To explain the conveyor belt of cash flow from us to the very wealthy via the assets that only they own. To explain that with every purchase we make, money is being pushed to this tiny pool of asset-owners, and also that with every purchase we make, the conveyor belt runs a little faster. It's a classic positive feedback system with no brake, and it's just going to run faster and faster until it breaks. A wealth tax is the brake we need. We need people to understand this and get angry about the people who are really hurting our living standards and financial security.
Absolutely the BBC made Farage and cancelled Galloway in the last election which allowed the door to remain open because they could see Reform was not a threat. But Reform is a threat and also unlikely to start bring in wealth taxes.
Farage is the symptom, not the cause. There's a receptive audience to what he says. I'm saying this because the population leaning more and more to the right is a trend in other developed countries as well, not just in the UK.
Spanish viewer in here. Just to dare to try out what you are intending is massive. Hope the public and the economic academia was more concerned about inequality down here.

Great to see you back. Great also that you want to build a political movement. Hope you get the staff to help maximise the potential because your message is so important. @NoName-vy8vu what's he selling?
@NoName-vy8vu Go make a video explaining why he is and how you know this with evidence?
Dont worry about the @noname guy, he defended Jim Ratcliffe who lived in a taxpayer funded council house for 10 years, went to a free taxpayer funded grammar school and free university in Birmingham, again taxpayer funded. He then made some money and moved off shore to avoid taxes. That's a grifter!

I found your first book absolutely riveting, and that's how I found your channel, which has been informative to say the least. I would love to see you interview (in a podcast style) people from specialist fields of economics, finance, sociology, and government. That would really allow your own views to come through via a conversation.
He has been interviewed by various people including james brien on LBC
100% this needs to happen
Agree 100% would also want to see him on more podcasts like with Chris Williamson
But please to keep the podcasts as streamlined as possible. I find anything over an hour too long.
You are a legend mate! Welcome back, thanks for being real, and I'm all ears for what's next. Plus, can I say, you're an inspiration. Both for being open about your mental health and for the perseverance vs. adversities you've faced. It really is a pleasure to have you back as I face some serious challenges in my own life.
Great to have you back, Gary.
Not only do you need employees but a team around you to support you. The stronger you grow, the more the 'money' is going to come after you, smear you, try and bring all you have down. If you are going to go for it, then you need to do it in fast time and get more economists, financial experts, or celebrities on board, so it's not just you taking the flack. Anyhow, you'll have my monthly support for the future as I believe that this is the only way we will ever stop the rapidly increasing decline in all aspects of our society.

@chrisoffersen Absolutely, we need s cultural paradigm shift
I found you because of your appearance on Pod save the UK. Appearances like that seem important to me. What you said there was so compelling that I sought out the channel 🙂

Love what you do, definitely the right direction!! Behind you all the way Gary.

Hey, Gary. Glad you’re back. My Sundays have been a drag for the last few months! Look, mate. You can’t change the financial discourse of the world. I can’t change it, but *we* can. It was and is formidable, but so are regular people when they’re organized. Keep at it, man. There are a lot of us around the world who care about what you care about!

Welcome back! Bring on 2025!
You are absolutely right.I have worked as a doctor in the NHS for over 30 years. For almost everything you say about economics one could substitute the word ‘health.’
Product placement by Big Pharma in the media, including to their shame the front cover of the Economist a few weeks ago, confuses.
Politics influences healthcare just as much as it does economics, untruths are spread widely, access to a healthy life is almost entirely dependent on access to personal wealth. The size of a lobbying group matters tho at the same time ‘it’s only individuals that make a difference’
I had to fight for cancer testing due to the economy I knew I had it. They fobbed me off for years. No freaking dentist.
Having had to fight for everything even though need is obvious and complex,
You get to see where it's lost and no value added.
Tribunals, lgsco, court,
The misuse of the social care systems to push through parental balme and CP,
It's cost.
What’s your point, you mug? Life’s not fair, cry harder.
Trade unites and politics divides. Politics is a DIRTY game
Lets do this brother 💪

It's strange as TH-cam places ads at the end of your videos. I'm happy to watch them fully then the channel gets some revenue to support in a small way. We all know likes, shares and comments helps in the algorithms so having someone explaining this will surely help grow the channel
Why would he need support for the channel if he claims to have hundreds of millions in wealth? Lmao
I also get the advertisements at the end of the videos, which I fully watch to hopefully support the channel. I truly appreciate the videos being uninterrupted so that focus can be fully placed on Gary’s message. I share and like as well, in hopes of growing the channel. Gary’s message is vital and I so appreciate the monumental effort he puts forth for the greater good💚 Looking forward here in the United States (Ohio) for the release of his paperback edition of his book so that I can purchase it as a form of support of the movement. We love your videos here in Australia. Our economic situation is similar to Britain's and we also have a Labor government that is not able to change the situation.
Cheer's Gary. Pleased you're back. Looking forward to your progress in 25.
People should complain to ofcom if he gets more airtime than other alternatives like Green party etc
Well said David.
Yeah that’s your governments fella!
Great that you are taking care of yourself first, great that you are back with a good plan. Cant wait to get started ❤

As a non American whose country has been burdened heavily by US influence I’m pro Trump because he’s gonna diminish the greatness of the US so much domestically and internationally. Globalists need to be punished by the consequences of the bravado of this man. Kamala would’ve maintained the status quo and improved it but I want America to get turned on its head. Make America Godawful Again!
my only consolation is that what we just ran away from was TRULY awful. Like so so so fucking bad!
