Everybody told me it was too janky but it didn't matter to me, so to prove them wrong, I actually made a Bant Party deck in standard that took me all the way to mythic tier on Arena!!! Actual deck info starts at: @4:25 Also kinda annoyed that Wizards made Initiative instead of continuing the Venture keyword. Sort of clash when you’re trying to get into and complete a specific older dungeon but keep drawing the new initiative cards. Should have just been venture and always be able to choose what dungeon to go into instead of being forced into one.
Thing is: I like what the mechanic (Initiative) tries to achieve, I actually really like that. It's a cooler, more interesting version of Monarch. That's awesome. But I aagree that it's weird how it was implemented - it should have either been 100% separated (which was probably very hard to achieve) or just allowed you to use either dungeon. But having this new Dungeon as an option for existing "venture" cards is not a good idea at all, it would have to be much worse for that. And having one dungeon that is not allowed in any format outside of commander would be weird too, but that is also kind of what we have now? I thought about it a lot, and this was probably the best way to do it still... (I am just a hobby game designer though, I'm sure there are things I am not thinking about)

@@clovergroom4104 yup, from what I understand, the enchantment sits in your command zone as well. Your commander just has to say they can have a background. For any other commander, the enchantment just sits in the 99.
It works if you have a single changeling. It doesn't ask for "a full party" (which would require 4, as you said) it just checks if you control a creature of each type, which you do.
I believe Multiclass Baldric gives all keywords to Burakos, because of how the first ability reads. He just won't get the damage prevention because you still need a full party. It should also work with any changeling creature
Party wasn't in the main set because it needs a lot of support and there wouldn't have been enough space for other stuff. But they didn't want to not do it at all so they put it in the precons, which I think was the right call.

Blackmarket seems just good everywhere that has black
So, is Burakos alone(solo on field)considered a full party for the Multiclass equip card and meets 2nd ability requirements?
No. It can fill any role in a party, but only one role at a time, just like Stonework Packbeast.
@@Natedogg2 i see, but does it gets all the bonus effect of each class in the 1st ability?
@@onimartinez8646 It will count for all of the creature types for the first ability, since it's all four creature types. But it won't fulfill the "full party" condition by itself for the second ability.
@@Natedogg2 ayt! noted. thanks mate'
I think it was Zendikar Rising. I was not sure if they would create something that would work like this.
Worth noting reprint value is high because there are 5 less new cards in the deck to make room for more/better reprints.
Which I personally love, dont get me wrong I do love new cards and especially for specific strategies that aren't as supported in commander, but at this point commander players desperately need more reprints of old cards than new cards in order to even afford to buy into the format.
@@alexmanzanares200 exactly, it always seems like there are a handful of new cards that get cut during upgrades. I'd much rather swap those for quality reprints to keep prices down (every deck this time around has a handful of reprints that I was very happy to see).
@@alexmanzanares200 For sure. I just think that treating the decks as "more valuable" than older entries is a bit of mistake. These decks should have five more value reprints than usual. I don't know if they really hit the mark there.
@@Iwoqvossik That is definitely something to be aware yes. I'm happy for the change, but definitely still needs to be worked. Especially the damn mana base, they were doing better for the New Capenna precons but then backtracked with these precons.
At the very least I hope this proves that they can reprint a lot of higher value cards, even if they rather not reprint the 40 to 100 dollar cards, at least reprint more of the 10 to 30 dollar ones to keep prices low yknow.
Also all 10 new cards are beetwen good and amazing because of that. These precons are a step in the right way for sure
Without the 2 new potential staples I think this deck falls short..
It's great if you're just getting started also the party mechanic sounds great in flavour but it's a lot of hoops to jump through... I'm not sure it's super viable even compared to the other precons.
Build it as hatebears and combo with Abdel or Leonin relic warden as wincon. This is a deck which you can build it to a competitive level.
Does multi class give all of the abilities to burakos
