I just wanted to inform all you guys. Hasbro held a panel today and they revealed Kanan, Ezra with cardbacks and Zeb which is a deluxe figure. I only saw one live stream so I hope this info helps you.
Enjoyed the review. Personally, don't mind all of the Mandos just no more Dins. Was bummed when they announced the Blurg without Kuiil.
Thing is there's loads of those Kuill figures knocking about, they really don't need to make any more, he's four pounds in the Entertainer
Yeah i love Din and Boba but they kinda hog the spotlight, i wanna get more guys and gals to really fill out a little covert full of them
@starwarsroo2448 Understand. For me, he is who I think of when someone says Blurg. I hope the saddle stirrup is adjustable so Kuiil can reach. If so, I'll buy one of those discounted figures.
Its a missed opportunity to use the Kuill mold. Add the bagged Grogu and its a viable variant. I believe the carded Mando would sell better anyway.

I love that blue color, it’s my favorite shade and it’s metallic to boot. Reminds me of GM’s Bahama Blue and Space Blue metallic paints from the 90s

Man i wish they gave jango the treatment this guy got. They did new tooling for his lower legs, belt, shoulders, jetpack, AND face, and he doesn’t even have a name! Same with Axe, who should’ve at least gotten a new shoulder pad piece, backplate, and jetpack for his season 3 look.
Definitely didn't need this character ahead of others, but his design & colour scheme is very nice.
This one seems to me that it could have been included in an army builder pack. Thanks for the review. Happy Easter!

They should’ve just gave them a holster I think it’s weird because all the other ones have one
On another note Tim, the entertainer has some TVC in stock for £6 each....din djarin (morak), isdam edian (bespin guard), figrin dan, vel sartha, reva, gaming greats lando etc.
and he puts on his helmet around 9:14 into the last episode when Axe takes over the lightcruiser i'm unsure if you see him during the ships descending to re-enforce.
I had enough Mandalorians like five Mandalorians ago.

It's a good looking figure I like it just wish it had a holster I know he didn't have one in the show but that never stopped Hasbro the figure looks nice and simple honestly) I think we could use a couple more like him but don't go crazy great review Tim and Happy Easter to you and your family
Almost positive the cheeks on the helmet are supposed to be white. Then again, he had all of 5 seconds of screen time, .00001% of that time he had his helmet on
I am getting this one he is on my list so I will definitely be getting him
Something about the paint apps on this one makes it feel more like a cartoon version

Quick question (probably not worthy of an Ask Bossk Segment, just curious). Do you test the figures joints before filming, because the joints on your figures always seem looser then on new figures when I unpackage them. Just curious if this maybe do to changes or mold wear during production (since the UK gets it's figures months before the US) or if you just have much stronger hands then I do. LOL.
(And, just venturing a guest here. While I agree that the Mando Fleet Captain probably wasn't on anyone's Top 10 list of most wanted figures, I'm guessing that he was included as Hasbro/Disney/Lucasflm are trying to avoid excluding characters of color from the product line. I mean even though it was not a figure anyone badly wanted rereleased, they finally did Finn in TVC, probably not because of demand, but because it was an accidentally Bad Look to have him be one of the only two major characters of color in the sequels and neither was in TVC at all (and Rose Techo would have sadly bombed horribly). As a collector of color myself, I'm certainly not mad to have either appear in the line, but a new Finn would have been a better move. Just my overly long two cents) Have a great one Bossk and Happy Collecting.

This figure just makes the repacked Axe even worse.
With a tiny bit of work they could've given us the updated chest that matches the damn picture.
seems like a massive shame, and yet again a single blaster is just not good enough, i'm not asking for an armoury but just include the rifle the deathwatch mando came with, or the carbine of the same design.
No figure should ever come with a single item, or zero items, at least two items even if its a lightsaber and hilt.
Or map, and 'open map' in the case of elsbeth(sp?)

Doesn't look too bad for me with the swap-able head/helmet. I wouldn't have thought this figure/character would have been at the front of something to be released. I ordered only one of this guy.
The problem with the head articulation isn’t something that’s been happening recently. I’ve noticed restricted movement in the head ever since the Death Watch Mandalorian back in 2022 I believe. The reason it’s so restricted is that Hasbro, both Marvel and Star Wars, don’t seem to understand how a double ball peg works. They make way too long of a joint and put it all the way down in the neck so there’s close to no range of movement. An example of how to do the double ball peg right would be someone like Boba Fett or Grand Admiral Thrawn where the ball pegs for the head are short and not unnecessarily long, and it has a wide hole in the neck which allows for so much more articulation. Hopefully they can fix this issue soon because it’s starting to get really annoying because we are SO close to having some of the best figures in TVC ever.
I've sliced a mm off the top of my jango neck and dremmelled down the back of the neck under the hair line and it vastly improves the head articulation (vid on my channel 😉)....the necks are too long and far too thick at the top, we shouldn't be having to modify figures like this, especially so called deluxe figures.

Why have they changed the knee joint? The joint they used for Axe wives and the other mandalorians was perfect. Now you cannot get a 90 degree bend!
The neck is a new gripe for me, almost forces the head to nod down and seems like the hole is too small on the helmet.

I think it's definitely more of the neck being the issue then the barebells. The necks go up very high they would need to do up some longer barebells for figures like this or cut out more of the neck socket but I would much rather scaled helmets with limited articulation on a few figures then rubbed off face deco and over sized helmets
Everybody whining about mandalorian fatigue, yet no one cries about all the bloody clone troopers that have been released for the TVC and Black series...smfh.

I will say that my Count Dooku's neck post/barbell is causing the same issue with mobility, so it's likely not due to the swappable helmet. For whatever reason, not unlike with the shallow elbow articulation on many recent figures, Hasbro is just undercutting the range of articulation on TVC while still including it. It's a bit maddening.
I just don't want Hasbro hearing stuff like this, then choosing to go back to the giant removable helmets! Haha
This is another figure that makes me fear that removable helmets are done for in tvc 😢😢😢

@@The_Darth_Xander i dont agree, they should’ve made a little better effort to make them in scale, because now we cant have a figure with all of its accesories on, wich makes you loose them, forget them or at least it forces you to have them out of display

This' a touchy one, Tim, but do you think or have you heard information about Hasbro having specific initiatives/agreements with Disney/etc in the types of toys(or figures in this case) that they must release; as in the amount of female characters, black characters...or just characters of color? I ask because they seem to verring into the other lane to run over THAT possum from where I'm sitting.
Re-releasing Finn, tons of Landos (nom-nom gimme, gimme! I'll take 'em all) and now this blink and you'll miss 'em, MandoCommander.
Great review, thank you. Personally, I don't mind repaints of the Mandalorian barbell hipped bodies as long as they are unique like this figure. Hasbro, give me Rando Mandalorian number whatever all day long and stop re-releasing characters we already have (unless you are going to give them a significant upgrade like giving Din Djarin barbell hips), thank you.
It's a good figure Bossk, although nothing can be done about the helmet, anyway nice review I can't wait for ask Bossk.
I was surprised when they revealed this character as well. So many Mando characters with more importantance they could have released!! Maybe he got released because his Finns father!! 😅

If they were making this chest piece, why did they just give this to the Privateer Axe Woves figure? It would have made him so much more accurate to the season 2 photo that's clearly right there on the card back, and it would've saved them so much grief and mockery for claiming a straight re-pack was a season 2 updated look. I mean, happy to have the swappable helmet instead of that giant potato the first version came with, but still. Missed opportunity for an easy fix.
There is a recent collector who is going all out war on removable helmets i can't imagine you've missed it if you've been on facebook.
I think he's lying 3 of each figure and haslab, while its possible the screenshots of his mandalorian collection was a heap of one of figures and each wearing helmets.
I understand removable helmets are cool to have but hasbro just lost the trust to make the helmets right.
and the resource of removable heads is a wonderful thing that nobody who wants helmets seems to address.
I got a bunch of Bo and Koska i could use on other figures, and hopefully soon Axe!
and it really does help when you want lazy customs, i would love a couple more male heads for Andor in imperial outfit, i've used browneyes(mando) and Miggs but i'd like to buy a few more and exchange heads.

They way over corrected on the helmets. Hasbro just needs to do better and do the removable helmets right instead of throwing in the towel and giving up.
Why in earth would they give this guy a swappable head?? Where are our removable helmets that actually function like helmets? Come on this is just lame and lazy.
