    What Camerons Car Reviews has to say about the 2013 Corolla: The Corolla, the number one selling car worldwide, and one of the most boring cars you can buy according to us automotive enthusiasts. Now Toyota knows that people are going to buy the Corolla no matter how many features it lacks and no matter how far it is behind the times, simply because of the reputation that Toyota has built over the years. However there is one thing, many competitors have now matched the Corollas reliability if not it's better. Power in the Corolla comes from a reliable 1.8 L 4-Cylinder made into a stone age 4-Speed Automatic or a 5-Speed Manual. Trims range from the base L to the top of the line LE or go with a Sport S trim. The Corolla lacks to even offer a backup camera, which some compact cars offer is pretty much standard like the Honda Civic. The interior is more functional than stylish and there is simple to use climate controls, the interior also has hard plastics in almost every single place. The Corolla used to be one of the top choices and we are very surprised Toyota hasn't full redesigned this car pretty much since 2003. However, all of this doesn't mean the Corolla is a bad car, right now you can get the Corolla for pretty cheap with all of the rebates that Toyota is offering with the cars also we really like the ride and the seats in the car. We highly recommend to choose something else than the Corolla for the 2013 model year. however if your a Toyota loyalist and you always bought Corollas than this car won't disappoint.

    Sheesh you people are some haters.. it's a corolla, cheap, reliable, honest transportation. Quiet, comfy, and gets the job done without major upkeep, and expense.

    I like that you give it a second before you actually start the car, i do the same thing. Honestly, i think that you critique this car as if it should be a luxury compact, which it is not. Nor is it advertised to be. The most important thing to someone who is buying on of these, such as myself, is that they have the security of knowing it will start everytime they turn the key.

    I just purchased one with )% interest. Love it. It's right for the money. Sure the civic, sentra, focus; they all look better. newer technology too. but I'm looking for a reliable, good on gas car. I drive a lot. Plastic doesn't bother me at all. I think it's really easy to clean. Corolla is very easy to maintain. Unlike Focus or Hyundai or Jetta. Can't wait to switch to the next gen with better gas mileage.

    Yes we agree 100%. We feel as if Toyota has something more special coming in the next generation Corolla. This corolla has been on the same platforn since 03' so we feel that a Corolla from 10 years ago isn't even that much better than the Corolla now.

  • @MrCarlsson86
    @MrCarlsson86 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    I just got one. the speakers are not as good as those in Sentra. BUT it's really not bad. I consider it very good. 7.5 out of 10. Plus it has bluetooth music connection. so no USB cable required. The S definitely looks better. I suggest to get the S if you or your parents can afford it. FYI the S doesn't have the back pocket behind front passenger seat which may or may not important to you.

    I couldnt get 0.9%. I'm just a student working part time here and there. Monthly payment is my biggest concern. I cant afford monthly payment for civic. plus, insurance for civic is higher than corolla. I just found out that Corolla is one of the cheapest cars to own. Civic is surprisingly not one of them. When I have a decent job, I will get an Accord or Camry. Depending on which has the best deal. But for now, Corolla is the best deal for me. Also I only opted either Toyota or Honda.

You spoke of, but didn't really show some of the steering wheel and other features very clearly. Sorry, but being a senior citizen, my brain doesn't run on high speed, like you young folks! I bought a 2013 Corolla LE for 17,900 + tax and title at 0%. If I could afford the payment for Civic, I would definitely get the civic. Actually, I like the functionality of Corolla's interior better than Civic. It's more for a long commuter which I am (700 miles weekly). Civic is for shorter commuter with better acceleration and sportier.

    Currently driving an '08 Cobalt, that still runs like new, I just wanna upgrade to something more recent. My first impression on the inside of the Corolla was: ''It's almost an exact replica of my Cobalt, minus the touch screen.'' 5 years apart, I'd have expected something more... or is Toyota keeping their ''goodies'' for the next Generation? I want a car that's top-notch on the reliability scale, but it's Outdated blandness leaves a lot to be desired compared to the other 2013 commuter cars.

I've own my Toyota T 100 pickup for 18 + year and it has never break down on me. My older brother also own a Toyota pickup. His had 1,080,000 miles and still run great. Well I would go with the 2014 Corolla personally much better improvement and check out my review on that one but a 2013 Corolla or a VW Passat? I would most certainly go with the VW Passat however the Corolla is in the compact class and the Passat is in the midsized so the Corolla really competes with the Jetta and I would take a Jetta over a 2013 Corolla but not a 2014. If your looking for better driver dynamics both of the VW's are better however if reliability is a factor the Corolla for sure
