I love Sinking Creek but I've always done it the opposite way, which I believe is the harder way. The first and last 10% are the spicy parts, everything in the middle is just beautiful trail!
You guys missed a really cool over hang similar to stump cave where you came down the ledges of new Virginia and turned right onto sinking creek if you would have went left about about 100 yards later you end up at the creek and over hang
Love the highlight type approach to the different areas you visited. Any chance you could share GPX files for GAIA or OnX? I'd like to visit that area, but coming from ATL not really familiar with that area. Thanks and great job!
Thanks for watching and we appreciate the support! Visit the “Daniel Boone BackCountry Byway” website and you can download the official map there. It’s a very small fee, but it goes directly into support of the Byway. www.ridethedbbb.org/ Also any map updates/additions made during the year are free after your initial purchase.
Thanks for the channel support! Yes it is on private property, although we never encountered any signs nor gate restrictions, if we would have, we would have turned around. Please tread lightly and respect the area. Especially if you do encounter restricted access notifications during your visit. The KAT hard 1 runs right next to the access road.
@KentuckyJeeper there are signs along the trail. You pay harmon hills online. We ride it many weekends. It's only $5 day. He allows people to ride there. But, you need to pay to use it.
@ we honestly never seen anything marked as such. You mentioned pay online, do you have that link? I’ll update the video description information with the link.
excellent trail, nice mixture of terrain and view
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed the ride! 👍
Good stuff hope to get there soon
You’re going to love it! 👍

It’s an amazing trail, next time we’ll go in the other way.
Looks like some nice areas to visit. Plan on running some trails in KY in 2025 (KAT and DBBB).
Absolutely 👍 it’s definitely can’t miss destinations! 💯
I got my jeep all fixed from the bad install of lift, front end and rear gears. I'll be up in a week or so. Looks like you guys had a great time.
It was definitely a good day! Glad you got your Jeep done 👍

Great video! I have heard that Stump Cave might be private property, I haven't been but would like to go, what is the best trail to use?

@ KAT hard 1 or 11? ONX only has 11 listed
@ Hard 1, go to the KAT FB page and you’ll find the current up to date GPX files in the “files” section.
