Game Sack: The Movie In the near future, Joe (Ron Perlman) and Dave (Vincent D'Onofrio), now on their way to the third age, continue to persist and convince each other to become both Nintendo and Sega fanboys. One day, they steal two time machines built by their friend Bill and go back in time to different time periods, without knowing they weren't alone in this mission. Joe gifts a Master System to a three year-old Dave on his birthday, signed by his mother, while Dave does the same thing to a three year-old Joe, with an NES. Joe and Dave go back to the present only to realize that their world is thorn appart, transformed into a dystopian empire ruled by anarchy and insanity, and worst of all, Game Sack has never existed at all. Joe and Dave learn that switching their consoles of choice wasn't compatible in this universe. And now, with the little time-space fuel they got, they have to go back to the year 2011, before the creation of their game series, where adults Joe and Dave, performed by themselves, need to change their taste in video games to save mankind. How about that?
That's awesome. Would have to de-age Ron Perlman or age Vincent D'Onofrio so they'd match. I'd watch that movie but I'd probably sneak in rather than buy a ticket. :)
I love the fact that the top comments are about GoldenEye. Proof that so many people still hold the game in such high regard. Great episode as always, guys!
For movie based games, let's see..... Alien Trilogy (PS1) The Warriors (XBOX / PS2) Die Hard Trilogy (PS1) Batman Begins (XBOX / PS2) Evil Dead a Fistful of Boomstick (PS2/XBOX) Gremlins 2 (NES) Some laughably bad ones Charlies Angels (PS2 / Gamecube) The Crow City of Angels (Saturn / PS1) From Dusk til Dawn (PC) Wayne's World (NES) and hell why not a few obscure ones Little Nicky (Gameboy Color) Attack of the Killer Tomatoes (NES) Ecks vs Sever (GBA) Reservoir Dogs (PS2) The Rocketeer (NES) Saw 1 & 2 (PS3 / 360) The Shadow (SNES / Genesis)
There are very few shows that I hit the like button before the theme song is finished, because I know I'm going to be entertained regardless of the content. Thank you, Joe and Dave, for having one of those shows.
RaSan69 If you watch a few of the dozens and dozens of episodes of GameSack you'll start to get used to these guys' style of humor. Once you do, stuff like this will be super obvious and amazingly no mind-reading should be necessary to reach such conclusions.
Lots of good choices here. I'm a big fan of the Super Star Wars trilogy, though I've never played the NES version. I also love the Genesis version of Ghostbusters but never played the recent one - gonna make it a priority to play it.
YES! One of my favorite areas of video games are those licensed games based on movies. Game Sack never fails to deliver some of the greatest video game related videos I could ever ask for! Some of my favorites you should check out: Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb (PS2/Xbox), The Godfather, LotR: Return of the King, The Warriors, The Lion King: Simba's Mighty Adventure (PS1-completely different game from the SNES/GEN versions), among SO many others. Great episode as always guys!
This is actually the first episode of Game Sack that I've ever watched. Great stuff! Just some movie games off the top of my head; Batman Begins - Xbox, PS2, GameCube The Matrix: Path of Neo - Xbox, PS2, GameCube Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and Return of the King - Xbox, PS2, GameCube The Little Mermaid - NES (Shut up, it was awesome. Easy, but fun!) Mission: Impossible - N64, PlayStation Some of them I haven't played in quite a while, so I'm not sure how well they've aged... still, I definitely got quite a bit of enjoyment out of these when I was younger.
For me the best movie-to-game adaptation is The Godfather game. The story is not as good as the movie of course, but the gameplay is extremely addictive and fun, good customization for your character along with a good arsenal. Honorable mentions go to: - Scarface: Which improved a lot on Vice City's gameplay, so much so that Rockstar themselves stole from this game with Vice City Stories. -Mission Impossible (PS1): Clunky gameplay but a fun use of the spy premise and gadgets, a great OST and perhaps the best use of security lasers level in a game.
How have I made it 33 years without realizing what was up with the Goldeneye64 cover? I never, ever knew the mouth was wonky. Good stuff as usual, finding myself binging these videos in a mix of nostalgia and just plain entertaining content.
Really great episode guys, you put a lot of effort and production into this episode and it came out great. Also nice to see some more objective views on some of these games as other videos I have seen tended to just follow the trend of what other well known TH-cam personalities have done. As for movie games I really enjoy the Alien 3 games, sure not the best but I enjoy them for what they are and the fact that some of them are completely different games when compared to each other, they also had some great soundtracks (Stage 1 on the Genesis always gets stuck in my head after a play).
Guys seriously, you're the best retro game channel in youtube. I know that saying this every time you upload a new video perhaps seems a little meaningless, but honestly: THANK YOU for doing this! Your show instead of getting worse over the years (like so many other channels) due to lack of inspiration, yours getting better and better. I'm following you since you had less than 10,000 subs, and I remember saying to myself "WTF? These guys deserve more views and subs!" and now it's a pleasure to see your channel getting bigger. I have a friendly recommendation to make: I think you should do a "Making of" episode to celebrate the 100,000 subs barrier (the time is near). It should have interviews of yourselves also, we want to know more of you guys (How you two met each other, how do you come up with the idea of Game Sack, how long are you gaming, etc). Thanks again for all your effort putting in this and greetings from Greece.
Thank You very much. That's very nice and we never get sick of compliments. I wouldn't mind doing a making of episode. Maybe we could do it as a side episode.
Well done David and Joe. You have taken this channel forward in leaps and bounds. Very much appreciated. ps: yes... I noted David jumping up & down in celebration.
The indiana Jones game is just the super nintendo star wars games but with less attention to detail. I mean the stages and the hearts and everything is all the same
Oh my YES!! I'm at work right now on a lazy Sunday morning with nothing to do (besides watching some Game Sack) And then from nowhere, a new episode is avalable! Thank you!
Yes! You guys crushed it on this one. Too 5 stingers of all time. Great work. I really like the variety of games and inclusion of fun movie titles. Movie games are such easy marks and I respect you guys for not going that route.
Oh man, Platoon is awesome! I discovered that game about 7 years ago and I still remember how much fun I had playing it. Just a really great meshing of gameplay genres, especially the 1st person dungeon crawler/shooting gallery 2nd level. Definitely one of my favorite movie games, though funnily enough I've never seen the movie! Willow is another great one for the NES. The story is terrible, but the exploration and sword-swingin' combat is just awesome. Not many bosses but still a very engaging RPG.
I second a call for a look at Darkman lol I have memories of renting that as a kid because I loved the movie so much, and being quite QUITE disappointed =(
You guys are amazing. I am old and in love with games. I hope you guys read this. Thanks for the good memories. Each video is full of them. I hope you guys are still alive.. love you..
Super Mario Father & Son: The Movie: The Game Digitized sprites featuring Bob Hoskins and John Leguzamo! Digitized voices including Bob Hoskins screaming "I'm getting arrested for being a plumber!" D- on EGM
They are good. I reviewed The Two Towers in a previous episode. The Return of the King almost made this episode. If we do another one of these then it will make that one for sure.
Turrican is right up there with Tetris on the sheer amount of clone games out there. In fact, there's an entire website just dedicated to listing all the Turrican clones! Would love to see some Aliens games covered next time. Maybe when Isolation is released...
Wait a minute, What happen to refusing to do an episode based on movie-based video games? :P last time dave suggested that, you beat him up. haha just kidding XD in all seriousness, Great Episode as always! ^u^ I always watch these before bed. X3
great video guys I'm sure you guys know this but pay no mind to the people saying AVGN already talked about whatever game because frankly who cares, I got more information about the games because you wen't into better detail
segadatabase The only reason this game is any good is because it is Turrican II, bastardized to include the license. If it wasn't for the movie tie-in, the Mega Drive would have gotten the whole original trilogy.
***** That is the danger of deadpan humor; some people won't get it and take you seriously. I know I didn't get it was a joke; I just was fortunate enough someone else made the comment first and learned I missed it. XD
They know, MoonSpiritExp. Their delivery of sarcasm, cynicism and deadpan humor is just hampered by their wooden presentation. I still enjoy it, though :)
***** It's actually more naive to believe that no one could make such a mistake. There are a lot of people in this world, and a lot of different influences on such people. People make all kinds of mistakes all the time.
+darren casserly there is an explanation now on the net. u basically take 2 seashells and hold them like chopsticks to pull out any Dingle berries then use the 3rd to scrape anything left over
Umm... just want to say Gamesack is completely different from AVGN, i didn't see any digs at AVGN, i love the nerd, i own all the dvds and watched them countless times, i can say Gamesack isn't doing anything, in fact i kinda started to prefer Gamesack along time ago because the actually review games in allot of detail, i've even bought some of there recommended games and always loved them, they don't just make up clever insults about games, I love AVGN but i love Gamesack too, it a shame that i used to learn allot from AVGN but in more recent years he tries to be too funny, I see Gamesack as edutainment and they are funny and also completely different, And as to Alistahr's comment *I wouldn't do that* you don't do anything, you have no video's and i'm sure James Rolfe would make comments like this,
Just to clarify (because you seemed so genuinely sure of yourself) but that "cover art mistake" mentioned in the GoldenEye segment is not a huge mouth; that's Brosnan's finger and it's a lot easier to see on the poster for the movie.
Okay, cool. I had somehow missed that one. I was sitting here going, "I'm almost certain these guys are smarter than that. Maybe he's a special kind of color-blind that confuses fingers for lips. I don't know. I'm not a doctor!" The joke is officially on me ;)
Demolition Man on the Genesis is awesome! Super tangy and raunchy music, nice gun sounds, tight gameplay (shoot in all directions, combat rolling, strafing, grenades, zip lines). I think it's a pretty awesome run and gun, personally.
Demolition Man on the 3DO looks like the type of game that if you saw it back in the day you'd be like "Dude this game is freakin' awesome!" then you'd play it for 5 minutes and stick Sonic 2 back on. Great episode as always guys, a suggestion for a future movie episode would be Die Hard Trilogy (on the Saturn obviously). All the best!
Perfect Dark might be better than GoldenEye (this I agree on), but GoldenEye paved the way for Perfect Dark. Furthermore, GoldenEye was the first successful movie game out there at the time and you know what? It still is today, because GoldenEye wasn't "rushed" to be released with the movie, compared to the other movie games where they are rushed out of the window to be in sync with the movie. "Overrated" is rather harsh to say...
Eh. Super Mario Bros. paved the way for platformers and Goldeneye paved the way for console shooters but it really hasn't held up. With Super Mario Bros. you can play the game now and not have any gripes with it. It has aged really well and anybody can enjoy it. With Goldeneye if you had a random 20 year old who played it back then and he decided to play it today. He would have something to say about the controls, graphics, and shallow level designs. Fine Super Mario Bros. applies to all of those cons. I'm trying to stand by my point but I'm really sucking at it. Whatever, this is just my opinion. :D
VolkswagenGamer GoldenEye 007 is fucking amazing, and this is coming from someone who only first played it a couple years ago. Its aged like a fine wine. Overrated is not the correct term to use, if everybody loves it its obviously not overrated, its just not clicking for you.
arbereshe turok is good too. I almost never understand it when people say games haven't aged well. If it was good enough for people back then, its good enough for me now. I don't get the feeling that games become outdated. I keep coming back to GoldenEye for gaming parties, more so than CoD and Battlefield etc.
VolkswagenGamer My point is that for a console shooter as successful as GoldenEye, I wouldn't call it "overrated". The game is good, not perfect and there are now certainly better FPSs out there, but... I feel perfectly fine talking about GoldenEye and NOT talking about GoldenEye in Top 10s and such, because it's not as good as other games. An "overrated" game is a game where it became almost mandatory to talk about in every game-related topic and must be worship as the best game of its class.
I don't see any shots taken. Although I have noticed that most of their stuff that they covered that AVGN covered that AVGN liked, they disliked. I have to say as well some of their criticisms of those games seem to be nitpicky about those as well.
It must be that and also the ending bit about the movie. But yeah you guys nitpick a lot, AVGN has some legit reasons for why he tears games apart, you guys just "i just dont like that" and it could be something as dumb as the sound getting a life makes
alistahr +ruekurei88 AVGn's videos are made for pure comedic and entertainment effect. They are not meant to be in-depth journalistic reviews. I would like to see examples of games AVGN likes that we didn't. I apologize that we're not as awesome as AVGN in your eyes. We're not trying to be AVGN. And we give reasons why we don't like the games we do, we don't just say "We don't like that" and move on. Have you even watched our videos? Or did you just come here to insult us and say we're not as funny (which we're not trying to be)?
Actually I've been watching your videos for a while now, but on several occasions you've done the I just dont like that thing, you did it in this one with the health sound
It's time to end the weekend in the best way possible, by watching some Game Sack! It really helps take the sting out of having to go to school in the morning. :D
Toy Story 2 for the Playstation was a brilliant movie based game, genuinely fun 3D movie platformer with some really interesting levels. Great episode guys :)
Thank you guys for putting more out there on the Ghostbusters game, it was really good, and didn't get the attention it deserved. And it's super hard to find on PC now.
GoldenEye64, Aliens(Arcade), Robocop 1 & 2(Arcade), Aladdin(SNES), Die Hard(Arcade), Jurassic Park:The Lost World(Arcade), The Warriors(PS2), Star Wars Trilogy(Arcade), Batman (NES), Batman Returns(SNES), True Lies, Willow(Arcade) were some of my favorite video game adaptations of movies.
I would love to see pure gameplay footage of the 4 of you playing and have the vocal track added on with your recorded reactions. That would bring back so many nostalgic memories of playing Bomberman World with the 3 kids I played with in my street.
I've read somewhere that the reason the home versions of Street Fighter The Movie has blurrier character sprites than the arcade version is because they were trying to hide the fact that they got different actors to re-film some of the move animations.
Chronicles of Riddick is a pretty awesome game based on the film. Also there were a lot of great arcade games based on movies. Jurrasic park is still one of my faves where you would sit in one of the jeeps and blast anything heading in you direction.
That ghostbuster game was so good that playing it once is a crime. Halloween is soon approaching....... a perfect game to revisit, for the fifth time. :)
Men you guys do and awesome job and specially, because you really go and analyze the games, i really enjoy your views and your points of views and not comedy, AVGN is nice and they only analyze the games that people said they are bad, but you check all the system from scratch. Keep the good work and let the other people said what ever they want Thanks for making those videos
You guys missed the opportunity to talk about the amazing Wii version of Ghost Busters. The cartoon graphics and use of the Wiimote are top notch. One of the most underrated Wii games for sure.
I played the NES ghostbusters game quite often as a kid. I'd routinely start a game, buy essential equipment, earn some money, buy more equipment, keep earning money, then turn the game off when I couldn't put off Zuul any longer. It was pretty boring, but its "business simulator" gameplay was relaxing compared to the other, brutally difficult NES games my family had.
Really glad to see Ghostbusters: The Game getting the attention it deserves. I played the Wii version first and found it alright, but jumping into the 360 version I had a blast, and it's still one of my favorite licensed games of all time. If you're looking to cover more movie licensed games, there are some decent ones out there: unfortunately, most of the ones that are really worth looking at are either covered fifty times by every other reviewer already or games you've already done, like Batman. A few that I would recommend you consider would be: --The Lion King (Genesis/SNES) since you didn't really talk about it in your Disney episode --Speed Racer (Wii) --Harry Potter series (GBC/GBA) The first two games on both consoles shined, and the third on GBA was darn decent too. --LEGO franchise tie-ins (multiplatform) These tend to be some REALLY fun games, and surprisingly decent interpretations of their source material --The Evil Dead franchise (multiplatform) They may not be great games, but they usually fit the movies well, and have a lot of character
No way! demolition man was an Excellent movie.
TheKrensada
nope
Frankly has Joe ever mentioned a movie he actually likes. Demolition Man was cheesy, but it was fun to watch.
Demolition Man is competent satire in an 80s action blockbuster wrapping.
What's not to like?
You just don't get the the shells... But no, it's a terrible movie.
Demoliton Man is an awesome movie.
Feels nice being a sick fellow at the moment sitting here with a cup of tea, some icecream and a shitton of Game Sack videos
Feel better.
I do, thanks bro
New game sack and I got married today!! Best day of my life!
Congratulations on both accounts!
Congratulations, man!
Congrats man
Congrats!!
Congrats, be sure to name your kid Game Sack!

To think I missed an opportunity to watch Gremlins with you in that very theater last week really saddens me.
Yes you did. I watched Aladdin and something called This Is The End, though. And several of the menus for your upcoming DVD. Maybe next time!
I love the fact that the top comments are about GoldenEye. Proof that so many people still hold the game in such high regard. Great episode as always, guys!
For movie based games, let's see.....
Alien Trilogy (PS1)
The Warriors (XBOX / PS2)
Die Hard Trilogy (PS1)
Batman Begins (XBOX / PS2)
Evil Dead a Fistful of Boomstick (PS2/XBOX)
Gremlins 2 (NES)
Some laughably bad ones
Charlies Angels (PS2 / Gamecube)
The Crow City of Angels (Saturn / PS1)
From Dusk til Dawn (PC)
Wayne's World (NES)
and hell why not a few obscure ones
Little Nicky (Gameboy Color)
Attack of the Killer Tomatoes (NES)
Ecks vs Sever (GBA)
Reservoir Dogs (PS2)
The Rocketeer (NES)
Saw 1 & 2 (PS3 / 360)
The Shadow (SNES / Genesis)
Die Hard Trilogy is such an underrated gem.
Sticking my neck out here, but the Rocketeer on the NES is not as bad as people make of it
Sweet home on nes movie is from 70s.
Judge dredd /demolition man on snes
EVERY shitty ljn game on nes lol
WTF GOLDENEYE?
There are very few shows that I hit the like button before the theme song is finished, because I know I'm going to be entertained regardless of the content. Thank you, Joe and Dave, for having one of those shows.
Thank You. That's nice to hear.
I believe it's Bond's hand on the cover of Goldeneye
***** good you can read minds
***** It might be irony yes, but it's not all that clear on the video. But thanks to your super human powers, now we know, thanks.

I watch since 2011 and it doesn't look too much like irony to me. No need to get upset if you don't think like me.
you are a dumb shit...of course it's his hand.
Right on a new Game Sack! I've not even started the video yet and I can tell it's going to be 31 minutes of pure awesomeness!
Lots of good choices here. I'm a big fan of the Super Star Wars trilogy, though I've never played the NES version. I also love the Genesis version of Ghostbusters but never played the recent one - gonna make it a priority to play it.
Gamesack is the greatest video game channel.... OF ALL TIME @.@!!
What a great way to end off the weekend. Kick back on the sofa and watch a bit of GameSack while drinking a beer. Great stuff. Thanks guys!
Great video games.

Just some movie games off the top of my head;
Batman Begins - Xbox, PS2, GameCube
The Matrix: Path of Neo - Xbox, PS2, GameCube
Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and Return of the King - Xbox, PS2, GameCube
The Little Mermaid - NES (Shut up, it was awesome. Easy, but fun!)
Mission: Impossible - N64, PlayStation

There is also a Gameboy version of 007, which is really fun as well. But I am unsure if it covers a specific movie though.
It does not, it’s just based on the license
How have I made it 33 years without realizing what was up with the Goldeneye64 cover? I never, ever knew the mouth was wonky. Good stuff as usual, finding myself binging these videos in a mix of nostalgia and just plain entertaining content.
It's not the mouth; it's his right hand holding the gun.

Thank you for supporting Game Sack! Much appreciated.
Sweet!
You know what? I like nothing more than coming home after a long day and sitting down to a new episode of Game Sack!! :)
Peter Jackson's King Kong was actually a pretty good movie-based game.
King Kong was awful the only part that was any fun was being Kong.
Play the DS game (shudder). The definition of awfulness.
Great episode guys! Probably the best one, or at least top three so far. I really enjoyed it. I hope you guys can make more episodes like this.
Thanks! We're glad you liked it.
Great episode...I would love to see you guys talk about more movie games on the NES like Platoon and Dark man. ..what were they thinking
Thanks man, I'm sure we will get around to those fun games eventually. ugh.
David White
haha sorry, they can't all be really enjoyable but how about instead i suggest Batman and Gremlins 2 for the NES

Back from the hospital because I found out I have a Kidney Stone, then I see the words Sack in my subscription box.
I hope you pass that stone without much pain.
I like how you guys will talk about a game, but then show us more footage without talking over it.
Wait a minute, What happen to refusing to do an episode based on movie-based video games? :P last time dave suggested that, you beat him up. haha just kidding XD in all seriousness, Great Episode as always! ^u^ I always watch these before bed. X3

Game Sack Apparently something made you changed your mind...Did Dave offer you something to make this episode? -3O

Really glad Universal Soldier the game got some love. I personally also love it. Fun levels, fine gameplay and such a great 'hum-along' soundtrack.
Yeah. We seem to be in the minority.
segadatabase The only reason this game is any good is because it is Turrican II, bastardized to include the license. If it wasn't for the movie tie-in, the Mega Drive would have gotten the whole original trilogy.
Magma Dragoon That's true but if the only way to play Turrican II on the Mega Drive is to play Universal Soldier, I'll happily accept it.
Uh the cover art for Goldeneye does not depict James Bond with a huge mouth. That's his fist holding his gun, though I can see why you mistaken that.
Sorry, I don't watch much of their stuff enough to get a good grasp on their style of humor.
***** It's actually more naive to believe that no one could make such a mistake. There are a lot of people in this world, and a lot of different influences on such people. People make all kinds of mistakes all the time.
The best video game related channel on TH-cam.
I thought Demolition Man was a pretty good movie.
I love it...but I was like 6 the first time I saw it in theaters.
Still what do they do with those seashells.
+darren casserly there is an explanation now on the net. u basically take 2 seashells and hold them like chopsticks to pull out any Dingle berries then use the 3rd to scrape anything left over
Its kinda cheesy. But i always enjoyed it.
Goldeneye's cover will never be the same again for me. You just destroyed my childhood...
Umm... just want to say Gamesack is completely different from AVGN, i didn't see any digs at AVGN, i love the nerd, i own all the dvds and watched them countless times, i can say Gamesack isn't doing anything, in fact i kinda started to prefer Gamesack along time ago because the actually review games in allot of detail, i've even bought some of there recommended games and always loved them, they don't just make up clever insults about games, I love AVGN but i love Gamesack too, it a shame that i used to learn allot from AVGN but in more recent years he tries to be too funny, I see Gamesack as edutainment and they are funny and also completely different, And as to Alistahr's comment *I wouldn't do that* you don't do anything, you have no video's and i'm sure James Rolfe would make comments like this,
Thank You!
マシューセガファン94 Why is this a thing?
You guys have become the highlight of my week
Just to clarify (because you seemed so genuinely sure of yourself) but that "cover art mistake" mentioned in the GoldenEye segment is not a huge mouth; that's Brosnan's finger and it's a lot easier to see on the poster for the movie.
Ha ha we know. :) It's actually quite an old joke on the internet. At least I saw it a long time ago on gaming forums and whatnot.
Okay, cool. I had somehow missed that one. I was sitting here going, "I'm almost certain these guys are smarter than that. Maybe he's a special kind of color-blind that confuses fingers for lips. I don't know. I'm not a doctor!"
The joke is officially on me ;)
what about the pic of him running away from the explosion below that, hes cross-eyed as fuck lol
You've got a point, Joel. Bond's hand is just near his mouth.
Demolition Man on the Genesis is awesome! Super tangy and raunchy music, nice gun sounds, tight gameplay (shoot in all directions, combat rolling, strafing, grenades, zip lines). I think it's a pretty awesome run and gun, personally.
it would make my day if you replied
Day made! :)
:() *fainted* Game Sack
X 2! Hi Julian.
David White I think I just shit my pants
Demolition Man on the 3DO looks like the type of game that if you saw it back in the day you'd be like "Dude this game is freakin' awesome!" then you'd play it for 5 minutes and stick Sonic 2 back on. Great episode as always guys, a suggestion for a future movie episode would be Die Hard Trilogy (on the Saturn obviously). All the best!
Wheres bubsy 3D?
I can't think of a funny joke about your mom but just know that I was trying to..
David White
my moms a bubsy.
That'll do!
That wasn't a movie.
Lol silly billy
From what I remember hearing, the multiplayer in Goldeneye was actually an afterthought.
Goldeneye is really really overrated. I'll admit that I didn't play it when it was new but it hasn't aged well. Perfect Dark is much better IMO.
Blanca in that SF game looks like an offspring of the Mask and cabbage patch doll
Idk why but I feel like this video took some shots at AVGN, I wouldnt do that, you're not nearly as funny
Thanks for the unsolicited advice!
I'm really surprised that the Die Hard games didn't make the cut, they were some of the better and fun movie adaptations that came out!
Toy Story 2 for the Playstation was a brilliant movie based game, genuinely fun 3D movie platformer with some really interesting levels.
Great episode guys :)
Maybe you can do a segment totally dedicated to Star Wars movies. There certainly are enough games to fill an entire episode.
Every time I see a GameSack vid in my sub box I get hyped.
Thank you guys for putting more out there on the Ghostbusters game, it was really good, and didn't get the attention it deserved. And it's super hard to find on PC now.
Another excellent Game Sack episode. Thanks, guys!
lying in bed with the chikgunya virus and i see a 30 minute gamesack posted. You guys literally made my week. thanks mates!
GoldenEye64, Aliens(Arcade), Robocop 1 & 2(Arcade), Aladdin(SNES), Die Hard(Arcade), Jurassic Park:The Lost World(Arcade), The Warriors(PS2), Star Wars Trilogy(Arcade), Batman (NES), Batman Returns(SNES), True Lies, Willow(Arcade) were some of my favorite video game adaptations of movies.
You just made my sunday. I love the show guys :)
I would love to see pure gameplay footage of the 4 of you playing and have the vocal track added on with your recorded reactions. That would bring back so many nostalgic memories of playing Bomberman World with the 3 kids I played with in my street.
your sega and nes fanboyism character never fails to make me smile/laugh
I've read somewhere that the reason the home versions of Street Fighter The Movie has blurrier character sprites than the arcade version is because they were trying to hide the fact that they got different actors to re-film some of the move animations.
The thing I always thought that was kind of funny about Goldeneye is that almost every object you shoot explodes.
As always, great video.
One of my favorite video games based on a movie is "The Incredibles." I have it for the GameCube.
LOL, dude that was hilarious about Bond's face. I had to look it up. and now I cant stop laughing at it.
Game Sack: The Movie! This really needs to happen! =D
I really like how you guys do not review overreviewed (if this is a word) games ...
Keep up the good work
I love games and movies as well, so this was a fun episode. As for movie games I'd like to see on Game Sack - I'd say "Enter the Matrix".
As usual, gamesack=best in the business
Men you guys do and awesome job and specially, because you really go and analyze the games, i really enjoy your views and your points of views and not comedy, AVGN is nice and they only analyze the games that people said they are bad, but you check all the system from scratch. Keep the good work and let the other people said what ever they want
Thanks for making those videos
Laid up after surgery and a new gamesack. Life is good!
Hope everything is well.
David White thanks. I'm just glad a new sack episode is on today. Love your show.
Surgery's no fun. Get better!
The only upside to this surgery.....I have to stay in bed most of the day. I can catch up on ask the games I'm behind on.
You guys missed the opportunity to talk about the amazing Wii version of Ghost Busters. The cartoon graphics and use of the Wiimote are top notch. One of the most underrated Wii games for sure.
Back to the future the game was the closest thing we got to a back to the future 4 thanks for showing it some love guys
Dune, Dune 2, Aladdin, Terminator Future Shock, Indiana Jones & Fate of Atlantis, Star Wars TIE Fighter - all pretty great games.
Awesome stuff as always guys. I might die from shock if I ever see a bad episode of Game Sack!
Great episode! The Goonies would be a cool game to cover in an episode like this.
The one show that gets a like even before I watched it ;).
Keep up the awesome show guys!
A few that I would recommend you consider would be:
--The Lion King (Genesis/SNES) since you didn't really talk about it in your Disney episode
--Speed Racer (Wii)
--Harry Potter series (GBC/GBA) The first two games on both consoles shined, and the third on GBA was darn decent too.
--LEGO franchise tie-ins (multiplatform) These tend to be some REALLY fun games, and surprisingly decent interpretations of their source material
--The Evil Dead franchise (multiplatform) They may not be great games, but they usually fit the movies well, and have a lot of character
Those innuendos in the Dick Tracy segment were clever Joe. Classic.
18:49 Why is there the cigarette burns in the digital footage of demolition man?
Talking about videogames based on movies, I have something to say .... OCEAN.
It's great to finally your guys home theater and gaming setup! ;)
Love me some gamesack! You guys are awesome! Again thanks for the hardwork.
