Hello, the range is only a few metres, we don't advise using the app however. This video is just a help video for those who do specifically want to use the app and need out of hours help.
@@sammyg805 if a thief was to get your phone, or the phone be in range of the device when a theft attempt is made then this would override the manual pin entry and allow the vehicle to start and drive away. It is also a little glitchy on different devices. Thanks.
@@sasvsLeeds Yes to me, it's like the phone has just replaced your key fob, defeats the whole point of the product imo? It works if the app required FaceID\TouchID first perhaps? Not sure if Ghost supports that? - I am getting my Ghost2 installation next week so I will let you know!
Follow the other video for forced removal and then do this video. Autowatch don't officially support the app any longer so it could be a compatibility issue if the earlier steps do not work.
There is a strong chance this could happen depending on the proximity of the two. This is the main reason why as a company, we do not endorse the mobile phone app.
Never got this to work in 2024 with iPhone iOS 17.6..app never finds the ghost..igla appears in Bluetooth but says it’s taking too long to connect
What is the service button???

The installer should have made a not of your service button in the user manual, inside the front page.
Being Bluetooth enabled, has the manufacturer just left a back door open I.e weakness in the design?
Hi. Can you please help me: where would be the “service button” on a Mercedes GLA ?
The installer should have made a not of your service button in the user manual, inside the front page.
Is it better to use the phone or pascode for operating?
The passcode will always be the most secure option.
does not work after press service button nothing happens
How do you pair an android to a ghost 2 ?
Mine won’t do this. I’ve tried everything

I’m following the vid but when entering the code, it just goes back for the Bluetooth searching screen and nothing happens
If you're on a Autowatch Ghost 1 and the latest version of iOS then there is compatibility issues which will no doubt be your problem.
@@sasvsLeeds Appreciate the message. It is definitely ghost II - I've got the info card right here (with bluetooth and emergency codes etc)
@@lucasdavison9932 I would try following the memory clear process along with a hard reset of the phone.
Will car start if your phone in house . But Bluetooth travels some distance? Will easy reach my car?

Thanks for your response. I’ll stick to pin code .
