    This video of your many great ones is what I’ve been looking for dealing with the passing of the trail hand
    Yes I have been practicing trying to find the correct timing and with the driver I get a pull hook at times so the fear of that and the left to right ball spin for me keeps that unwanted fade or slice alive sometimes …. and with my irons just like you said fat shots
    The visual you show here of you explaining when to pass with the trail hand will improve my understanding and reprogram my brain
    Visuals and words have meanings and you used them correctly here and thanks for that
    Your a very good instructor Marcus and why I don’t hear of you in the golfing world is beyond me but I share your name as much as I can and feel good doing so because I’m not leading someone astray ….but you do have a good and loyal group of students and you should be proud of that Big Swede

      Update:
      Marcus I practiced today in my saturated yard here in Southern Louisiana after 2 days of heavy rains but still I’m able to practice with all my clubs because of the use of my Birdieballs
      Check them out on the net and you’ll see how I any anyone can still practice in wet conditions wearing rubber shrimp boots and there white here in south LA. 😎
      Long story short … to give my hands to do as you say with the trail hand passing over the left … what I found out for me today…and everyone is different and that’s why practice is so so important …
      I found that if I stack my body … eyes,shoulders,hips
      ,knees and toes on my swing line at a couple of minutes on the clock on the ground as you do …above my target line of 12 o’clock and now aiming as you said 8 inches ahead of the ball to make the move with the hands …
      A and I mean A perfect baby draw with the Birdieballs after Birdieballs and these guys show a true ball flight for there maximum range of plus or minus 40 yards …but you’ll find that out and more about them when you check them out …I hope you do that
      The COS works for some reason more better and my body doesn’t rotate to much to pull the shot lined up this way … go figure
      With my new understanding from this awesome video for the hands I’ll be heading out to the course tomorrow even though it’s wet…to wrap up this problem hopefully of one in the past of where to make the hands do there thing properly
      My journey of total understanding and total in the game performance with the Marcus swing and the COS I feel is coming to a place of complete clarity and my friend… that is a good thing
      👍⛳️👍

    Marcus, I am a 76 year old left hander playing right handed clubs. I found out I could hit my irons good if I loosened up on my left hand grip pressure without loosing control of the club face and really using my right hand to make the swing. Any comments on this will be great and might help other left handlers make that swing. Driver is doing good too. The Golf Dummy got me watching your swings two weeks ago. Your videos have made understanding the driver super helpful, thank you. If I release 10” or my trail hand passes at about 10”with an iron after the ball, will I lose speed? I thought another one of your videos said 2cm after the ball for irons but I may have misunderstood. Thanks again, really appreciate the work.

    • @GolfwithMarcusEdblad
      @GolfwithMarcusEdblad  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The swing is very fast. I don’t think we can decide exactly were it happens but if we can learn to make the release early with the driver and later with an iron we will learn to make a better impact. The exact release point depends on rotation, grip and lateral move and is very hard to say exactly when it happens.

    • @GolfwithMarcusEdblad
      @GolfwithMarcusEdblad  ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Hej Marcus! Have you done a video for release for long/mid/short irons? My irons up until 7 are reasonably consistent, 6i to 3i produce a push slice - so the club face is open. I assume this is because I am releasing too late?

    • @GolfwithMarcusEdblad
      @GolfwithMarcusEdblad  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The only feedback is the ball. If you practice your driver you can just think about the earliest release possible. As long as you swing from the inside it will be okey.
      Any ball you hit from grass you need good timing to get impact and ball flight correct.

    • @GolfwithMarcusEdblad
      @GolfwithMarcusEdblad  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you hit a straight ball without curve to the left your club path is going to the left and the club face is closed. To hit it straight or a draw you need to get your path more to the right trough the ball. Ok?

    • @GolfwithMarcusEdblad
      @GolfwithMarcusEdblad  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sadly my friend, your timing is still of and is the only thing that needs to change to stop your slice. If you release early enough the club will get the time it needs to close before impact and the slice is no longer possible.
      It took me only a few days to figure out how to do it with a short club but it took many month to do it consistently with my driver.
      The only thing you can do is go back and try again and again and again until you get it working.

      @ my average swing speed is 102mph. I was using cobra f9 with tensei 50g regular shaft. I just changed to another driver last week. Paradym with Ventus TR Blue 5-S stiff flex. Made the change as I was told that I need a stiff shaft for my swing speed. So that my drives will be more consistent.
      For now it’s consistent slice. I wonder should I just go back to my old driver. Or should I keep trying to get things right with my new driver. Hope yo have your valuable input. Thank you.

    • @GolfwithMarcusEdblad
      @GolfwithMarcusEdblad  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@redknappdex3467 When we slice we are not hitting the ball good enough to do a valuable custom fitting. No driver will really make it much better. A shorter more flexible shaft will make it easier to release but you can learn to do it with any club.
