I couldn't agree more, Elton John is an absolute master in his field. This particular song, although not one of his greatest known hits, it is my favorite. I probably count for half of the total hits on this page. When I listen to it, it builds up such an emotion and breaks down all the barriers holding me back in life. Elton, you make me proud to be British and I hope you come to Sydney shortly as I will be on the front row singing along. You absolute legend.

I've never been a massive fan, but, over the years, for me he's come out with many gems and this, for me, is one of those..great chord progressions and lovely use of the piano, both in the solo and at the end. And I'm blown away by the lines.."When stars collide, like you and I, no shadows block the sun."..not sure I've ever really "been there," but I can still appreciate the sentiment..magic stuff..and probably written, or picked, with David in mind! :O)
