      Interesting place Yohannes 🥰👍🏽 thank you for sharing. And yes a drone would come in handy... Though keep it under 200g to avoid license requirement.

      Thank you Aryo! Unfortunately the legal situation has changed, now the limit is 100g 😣
      Buy thankfully the areas I'm usually going are not densely populated, so flying is ok.

      A functioning pyramids should be covered with soil because soil serves as an insulator that's why ancient pyramids looks like a mountain but they were gigantic no moving-parts Water Pumps.

    My god, this place looks amazing. You almost lost me at the snake part... :D I'm glad I stayed for the rest, really interesting video with quality information, and I really like the added music/sound effects. Thank you and have a nice day.

    I've been inside those tunnels many times. But I've yet to climb Mt Minakami. I want to do that one day. Is it a difficult climb?

      well it is not single mountain. there are two. what is between those two mountains are made up of iron and coated by molten copper.

    Interesting presentation, Johannes! It doesn't seem like a human constructed pyramid, though.

    I was actually wondering if it's safe to hike in Japan. Aren't there any animals that can harm you?

    • @JapaneseJourney
      @JapaneseJourney  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are, but it's not too bad. I think bears are the biggest risk. If you check the go north Japan channel, he made a great video about that: th-cam.com/video/CUdnZ8jvhCQ/w-d-xo.html

    • @JapaneseJourney

      Barefoot shoes.
      Actually, the asphalt in Japan gets so hot in summer sometimes, I can feel it through the soles.

      You need proper hiking shoes. Thick soles, ankle support, and anti-skid traction.

    Don't get a drone. I got one now. It's pretty annoying. Better save your money 😅

      I actually had one that was lent to me by a viewer. However due to the new legal situation, I had to give it back. Looking at the Mavic Mini 3 Pro now.

      @@JapaneseJourney yeah the legal situation might get worse with that ID thing.
      But you can basically fly nowhere anyway. So most of the time you'll just search where you can actually fly. And if you found a spot, you'll spend the next few weeks filling out all sorts of applications and getting approvals and so on.
      If you want to upload it to your channel it is even worse. Then you'll need to get a pilots license.
      Luckily I don't want to monetize anyway...

    • @JapaneseJourney
      @JapaneseJourney  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I didn't know about the applications needed when flying in green zones and pilot's license when publishing. Do you have any sources on that?

    • @StevenBara
      @StevenBara 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JapaneseJourney there are basically no green zones in Japan, that's a lie 😅 I have some sources, will paste later.
