Hello my friend. I agree. Not every "weapon" needs to be weapon quality. They are so cool just as they are. You have good instincts. I definitely love this project! And, Mortal Combat is timeless. It's a great idea for the MK coin!😊

I am not sure what I like more, the coin or the stars lol They both look sick !! I dont think the coin sucked. I like it. Very cool video. Its nice to see how big your stacked is. Great video, thanks for sharing !!
It was kinda funny when you first were looking at the throwing star I was thinking “thar would cool if you could sharpen. Then it came up on the screen “I would like to sharpen them at some point”. What can I say great minds. Just don’t let Marshall near them. 😃🤣😂
I wished the coin would have turned out as good as the stars. The coin gave me an idea on something to 3D print and try to cast. Find a few Olympic medals from the past and cast them. The stars turned out really good.
I think they turned out great! I just visited my nephew who turned 8. He remembered the video where you made the skull you sent me and has been collecting soda can tabs for you to melt. He is too adorable for words. Great video! I hope all is well on your end!

I need to get some of that. Do you know any good brands, or a make it yourself recipe? I’ve seen it before but haven’t looked into it as much as I should have. 👍
Hey my Friend how are you doing?? Hope yo0u staying cool and out of that heat!!! Is crazy this time of year there and here.. The coin was cool and the bar looked great.. But I was impressed that the stars held that indention around the edges so good.. am curious what type of respirator filters do you use? I broke down and was able to save some money up and get a cheap Chinese forge to try it all out with. Also any recommendations on where to get large amounts of petrobond.. not sure if 1-5lbs would be enough to do much with. Am taking baby steps towards trying this as a hobby, but I have to wait till we get some rain as I need a place to concrete in to run a forge and is still way to dry to try anything right now. Well much love and respect... Stay safe out in the heat.. And as always, it is good seeing a video drop. Peace...
I’m doing good, I hope you are doing the same my friend! We had a few cool days that we nice so I took advantage of them. I was happy with the way everything came out in this melt too. I’d have to check on what kind of respirator filters I have. I have two different respirators, they are 3M I believe, but I’ll have to get you the exact number when I have the chance. I get my Petrobond from PMCsupplies, it’s not nice on the wallet that’s for sure, but you should be able to get a decent amount to do some small castings. I hope you get some rain soon, and definitely let me know when you get up and going. Good to hear from and I’ll talk to you soon! 👍
thanks any info on the filter numbers would be great.. was having a hard time with what ones are good for gases from smelting aka melting.. and thanks for the info on where you get your petrobond from!!! I go in for heart surgery on nov 16th so am hoping to get something going before then .. really suck if i didnt get to even try LOL I have to keep it light hearted.. im to old and tough for anything to get me down in a bad way.. we just got to smile and keep on keeping on LOL be safe in that heat though.. it isn't nice at all... @@TheGrowingStack

Using some real fine facing sand will give your casts a much better surface.
