    Ran into the same issue. Repeated the steps for both earbuds and it worked. Also there was a white adhesive patch under it. I removed it and it sounds even better. Thanks

    Great guide thank you. I suggest doing one step at a time though, first reset the earbuds, then if it doesn't work try to do the other steps. I just reset mine and they worked. NB make sure you locate the reset button in order not to damage your mic or any other part, it's not very clear in this video

    I bought mine last year and they are awesome. Now mine does that every once in a while, like just today. But usually leave in the charger for a bit and it seems to go away. So not sure guys, but for the most part it doesnt happen very often and I use em every day since I got em.(work)

      Try getting swapping the outer rubber should fix it. They had to have exact snug, who know give a try

    I wondered about a connectivity issue as well. Because they work fine initially after a full charge. I've noticed mine dips after about an hour of continuous use.

    My left ear bud is charging in the case but when I connect it to my phone, it shows a red exclamation mark next to it. Do you know how to fix this?

      Did you also check so you have put the rubber rings correctly. L for left etc..
      Works for me.

      Make sure the right headphone has eather R1 R2 R3 not L's on the right side, mine had that issue I messed up, the rubber outer part needs to match the side of headphone

    Dang! I was so much hoping this would work. Ive done the reset, uninstalled the gear app, abd turned off the equalizer. Ive tried several times and the right is still quiet.

      @@KennethSteen I tried cleaning the screen but they literally a few weeks old. Still didnt work. So, in a bit of frustration I took the mesh screen out and removed the white filter (as in the comments) and boom! It worked!

    Earwax clogs the filter. Remove the black screen filter and that should fix the issue.

    I removed a white filter in the ear buds and then the problem went away. I can send you the pictures. Let me know.

      Hello, do you mean the mesh net that gets clogged from time to time, at the tip you put into the ear? That could also be the problem for some, but that was not my problem at this time. I guess you should clean the "filter" with some hot water and soap and put it back again. Otherwise the clog from your ears might go further in in the earbud.

      @@KennethSteen under the black mesh there is a white filter. I've carefully removed the black mesh then removed the white filter. After I've put back the black mesh... all it's good now.

      Sorry to hear mate. Did you try the full procedure I describe and also the other advice here in the comments, to remove the mesh and filter that may be clogged. Otherwise I´m clueless at the moment.

      I've had my pair for 11 months. I'm an extremely heavy user, and get approximately 3 full charges for each bud on one case charge

    #Samsung finally fixed it's #iconx buds with an update to restore equal sound for both ears without a mechanical fix! Just need to uninstall and reinstall plugin.

    Anyone know of earbuds similar to these where you can save music on them? My workplace fedex doesn't allow us to bring our phones with us anymore sooo....these are great but, rather dated nowadays I see only refurbished/used options. Wondering if theres any headphones now I can store songs off spotify or something onto them.

      a glitch with the touch sensor you can set it to be locked and you wont have the problem

    Nooooooooo! Please read! I had this issue after I replaced the rubber peace, if you notice your right headphone has L1, L stands for left and 1 is the size, I had L1 on the right side, so it didnt fit snug on the base, right after I installed them correctly problem fixed!!!

      Check min 1.51 and you'll see you have the wrong rubber insert

      I was noted that also by a previous comment and fixed it. It surely did the trick with the charging issue. But this video does not treat that problem but the problem with uneven sound levels between left and right.
      But thanks for also bringing this solution up here again, it deserves attention.

    Happened to me. I did some surgery on mine and apparently some of my ear wax was clogging the ear bud up

      @@rustymizell3122 oh yes ok so I opened up the part where the sound comes out and removed the black part and then there is a white part. I took the white part out and then cleaned it out then put it all back together.

    I did to my earbud and now left side earbud is not working i don't know it is like totally turned off or maybe other issue but its does not work any more but right side earbud is working

    The wingtip should match the earbud... then everything will be fine... Left wingtip to left earbud and the same to the right... Check the letters to match.

    Anyone getting issue with one side showing green and the other side is red. When check the app the right side shows green and the left is red with exclamation mark.

      Hi, I´m not at all sure, but could it be a charging issue. I recall (sort of) having had that issue in the beginning and found out that I had put a left (L) fitting ring on the right (R) earbud. Doublecheck that left is on left and right is on right. If not, the charging will not be done correctly.

      @@KennethSteen thanks for the reply. I found out the issue. I read that the since there are so many connection points; those five metallic dots. That they need to be put in the case perfectly in order to charge.

      Om du menar lågt ljud så: i boxen du fick med (om du har kvar den) där finns det yttligare en liten låda i botten med en bordet och hlrlursfilter som man ska byta ut de gammla med!

      @@KennethSteen I found in another video the solution: remove the little mash in the ear piece, it's full of moisture, then you can remove the white membrane too. Clean all. Put the mash back and problem solved. It's the moisture! =]

      @@heliojansen Yes that has been suggested by some persons here in the chat and that is a good suggestion. However, it solves another root cause - the earbuds being clogged (same effect though, with uneven sound balance). So there may be at least 2 different root causes. One fixed according to my video and the other fixed according to your suggestion. 👍

      Remove the rubber ear gel, then carefully remove the black screens. Under the black screen is a white mesh. Use 70%rubbing alcohol and moisten one end of a cotton swab and use to clean the white mesh. Then use the other end of cotton swab to dry the white mesh. Replace black screens if you desire, then replace the rubber ear gel. I learned to do this after mine started not being loud. It has worked for me.

    People!.............. just get the Bose or the sony earbuds. Sell your cheap crap Samsung earbuds for whatever money you can get and use that cash to help pay for either the bose/sony earbuds and you will not have to do any of this shit you see in this video or any other troubleshooting video about garbage Samsung earbuds. I bought both Bose/sony earbuds and they work flawlessly with my samsung Galaxy s8 plus (which will be my last Samsung device) which is pathetic that Samsung's earbuds can't even connect correctly to their own phones. I bought the icon x 2018 earbuds for a Christmas present to myself and when it came time to unwrap it (I was excited) and pair them with my s8 plus, it said connected, but when I tried to play music or watch videos either from my own recorded files or TH-cam, all I get is a constant "refresh " icon and nothing ! When I disconnect shitty Samsung earbuds, my music/ videos play. When I paired the Bose and sony earbuds, that worked flawlessly without any issues. Get rid of any Samsung trash you own. I use to be a samsung supporter fan, but no more.

      Did you installed any software update first? It has plenty to download in the first place. I had mine For 6 months and works perfectly fine.
