Thank you so much Pat!!!! Yes, it can be so confusing and it's even more confusing when we look at them online through our screens! 😅 As if it's not hard enough to decide the colors we want in the first place 🤣
Thank you so much for this video! I want to start using gouache and just bought my first W&N designer's gouache small set which I'm so excited to start using. This was very helpful to actually see the colors that I might wish to purchase in the future and I also think it's a very good exercise to replicate with your own paints to have your own swatches palette ^^
Thank you so much for watching! I'm glad it was useful! 💕 It's true that it's good practice to make such swatches and I've even done mixes of colors to see how they react with each other, which is also very interesting and inspiring! No video of that I'm afraid, but I definitely recommend trying it 😊
It s a really good setup. Only some colors could be removed, like warm yellows or orange lake (replacing by lemon yellow, keeping marigold), 660 ultramarine (preferring 667), and personnaly i don t like primary red...
Hi! This is a bit of a strange question but what fonts did you use for the thumbnail of this video? I really like them and I really like how you designed the thumbnail. Thanks.
Hello! Thank you so much!!!! I created the thumbnail on Canvas and the fonts I believe are Quattrocento for the caps and Glacial Indifference for the rest. Hope this helps!
Thank you so much! To be honest, I didn't think of it that way, I just took the official chart and sorted the colors I had in that order, then split the stack in 2, to fit in my paper! I guess it looks that way because they keep their color families separately so it happened in my chart too! They aren't perfectly split in warm and cool though, there is a magenta in the top row and the yellow is a lemon yellow, there is also the Yellow Ochre and Naples Yellow in the bottom row, which I would consider warm colors. But it was a nice observation, one I failed to make!
@@MyrtosArtCorner thank you for your answer Myrlo, your video is one of the best videos i ever see about Winsor swatches❤️it inspired to me to do it in that way, thanks for that👍🏼❤️

Oh wow, so glad it's been helpful!!!
This was very helpful! How interesting how many of the swatched colors differ from the chart. I agree about having a sample to refer to! Great video!

@@MyrtosArtCorner Thanks so much!
You're very welcome!
This is a wonderful review! The ones in the top( yellows, pinks, orange and blue One) are warm colors and the down ones are cool? Thanks!
