Since they dont necessarily make a harness for the gbody have you ran into any problems using this universal kit harness ? I was thinking about getting one too but when I called and they told me that they don’t make one for gbody it kinda threw me off. And why did you go with the small box do you not have power locks n windows?
Yo dash looking good … need a lil help where did you pick up the sockets for the lights I have a 86 luxury sport and re wiring the whole car didn’t wanna use the old
Thanks, I appreciate it. Everything is all wired up. I have a whole playlist going over the wiring. Once you get everything sectioned off, it makes the install a lot less intimidating.
@@Dashsgarage ok thank u also on the wire harness did it come pre wired for the ignition switch. It should be like a see-through plug and a black plug or a white plug.
Just depends on what parts I'm looking for. Google, jegs, summit, Amazon, get some parts from local G-bodyguys, even the junkyard. Really whoever has the same part that will cost me the least amount.
@richardeddings7259 around the 8 minute mark I give the part numbers. I'm not sure what video/what you are asking but there's a whole Playlist just on the wiring I tried to cover as much as I could.

This was the kit recommended to me when I called. No power locks or windows
@@Dashsgarage ok cool I’ll get the one with the power locks n windows
@@jefferypeters6149 sounds good.
@@Dashsgarage did you have to keep any of the original connectors that’s under the dash when you did this harness swap?
I got new everything.

Advance is my go-to, but I think I had to get some from auto zone and orileys, too. No one carried enough to get them all at once.
Did wiring bolt head mount in existing harness hole without modification?
