Absolutely loved this! And am happy you are feeling better! Also I know this does not have to do with this video but a huge thank you for introducing us to Vesta and telling us your story! 💜🙏🏻
Oh gosh it gives me such joy when I hear someone got interest in Vesta through my videos! Thank you for saying! 🙏🏽 I know she's not as popular as other deititw din witchctaft but maybe it's because a lot of us take housing for granted but without that cornerstone is near impossible to make anything else in life work.
100%! London voted against brexit! One thing I'd say about Survival of the fittest is that as far as im aware, it was intended to mean something more like 'fit for purpose', rather than 'might is right' or violet competition, so cooperation and collaboration for example have been advantageous, like the usually solitary robin, wren and blackbird who will team up to work together when it comes to an intruder and alerting each other to the danger. Similarly humans have done better from collaboration and working together to keep eachother safe and so on. I think also given we humans are also animals as a species, there are many examples of us recognising the similar compassion that other species also have shown others, when they would have personally benefitted from ignoring the cry of their friend or not necessarily gain anything directly themselves. Caveat: I don't agree with testing on animals but there was a study that set up two rats in neighbouring cages and one rat had a button which would dispense food on pressure from their foot. But each time the button was pressed, the neighbouring rat on the next cage would receive a slight electrical shock and cry out in distress (please can we just accept the intelligence and sentience of other animals rather than do this to prove it!) and after a short while the first rat made the connection that every time they pressed the button to dispense food for themselves, they could hear punishment being dispensed to another rat and so they stopped pressing the button. A rotten way to find out about cameraderie of rats! I think Peter Kropotkin was inspired by some animals over others though, I imagine, for liberatory politics. I doubt he could say the sexual politics of ducks were a good place to take inspiration from! But maybe the wrens, blackbirds and robins. Or rats! 🐾💕 I also remember my cat coming to sit on my chest and gaze at me when i was crying alone depressed in my room growing up and wondered what was going on there. The most compassionate seeming response in my household was from our animal companion, and i will never forget that warmth. Anyway, didnt mean to write an essay, but some reflections offered in good spirit!
Hehehe thank you, such underused t-shirt I need to wear it more often! It's actually a Placebo t-shirt, the band! Brian milko is a secular Satanist (just literally to break down organised religion rather than being a pagan himself) and I got this t-shirt even before I started practicing. I loved how many people that clamin being progressive and rebels (Placebo are that kind of band) clutched their pearls at this t-shirt, so I had to have it. Not sure they still have it in the merch but if they do it's there 😉
I'm so jealous you can follow routines 😂 As an autistic person with ADHD I need them, but I hate them. My brain is in constant battle with itself about routines, like a toddler that needs a nap but hates sleep 😂
Ah yeah i feel you. My spouse has ADHD and thankfully we complement each other in that. A few times I messed up with my meds and starved my brain of dopamine for like a day before I realised and sorted it out, and apparently gave myself symptoms similar to ADHD and honestly I grew the highest sympathy and respect for anyone with ADHD who doesn't eat people's head all the time!!!
Not only does Buy Me a Coffee give more to creators than Patreon. But Patreon has platformed fascistic content in the past. After having been reported, it did not take down said content.
@@activistwitch An anarchist booktuber I watch made a video about it, and I’m glad he did. An author who wrote an awful story about white Nationalism in the US was apparently platformed on Patreon.
If nature is not compassionate, why do trees support other trees in their vast network of fungal connection? Trees even support tree stumps. Nature is much more community oriented than you give nature credit for. Also, it is my belief that human beings are nature too, we have just tried to separate ourselves from nature. This separation is an illusion. We are all nature.
Oh! Well that is so true, and I concur. Unfortunately, I am unable to go into a lot of natural place because I use a power wheelchair and power wheelchair are designed to work best on flat spaces.

@@HeartbloomHalfling yeah that's the reason why I brought the example of "the first civilisation moment was a broken femur that healed". Thinking that in the animal world a broken limb is a death sentence when as humans we have learnt to care for each other and take care beyond "natural selection" I feel that's what we could bring to nature ❤️🌱💚
@activistwitch I see what you're saying, and while it is true that an animal breaking a leg may be a death sentence, there are documented cases of animals helping other animals that are in need. Altruism is not a uniquely human trait, which makes sense, as we are also animal, just a different kind of animal. If you would like, I am happy to provide you with some articles I read as evidence.
It's so nice to see you! Hope you're feeling better!!
thank you! yeah i'm getting better by the day (about time it's over two weeks now!) though the cough still gives me a hard time 😅
I’m so excited for this project, can’t wait to see your film!
Thank you Immy 🫂❤️🫂❤️

Very excited to see this Welsh art too!

My main reference for this is how inaccessible and outright dangerous "natural" places can be for a disabled person.
