I think I read somewhere that the Beatles' management had them to take diction lessons. I think it's something quite common for artists that are meant to go on big scale and under an overpowering management. Now that they've got less restraints they're more relaxed, and their accents are coming through a lot more. For Zayn happened the same thing, the few times you hear him talking now you can hear a thicker accent. There are not a lot of differences in Liam's and Harry's accents, but they've always been quite poshy since before they became super famous.
