Hopefully Affinity Designer Must Have An Auto Trace Tool Same as Inkscape and CorelDraw.
If there still isn't a vectorize in it yet im not interested lol. The fact it still doesn't have a trace image is astounding !
Drawing programs don't need to trace.
@@KipVaughan tell that to Adobe illustrator. Or inkscape. Its a design program not necessarily a drawing program!
You know, even if they add the vectorizing tool, it doesn't mean it will be good enough to actually use. You need to hope that they add a quality implementation. That is probably the hold up. They haven't figured out how to do with quality.
@@KuttyJoe Well illustrators is great. Inkscape one is good. Hell even free online ones work great. Why would you assume it wont be any good?

Long pressing a tool to temporarily switch tools is a very important update in terms of the speed of workflow.
Great about the fonts favourites. Also good with move dialog box, but it would be nice have set that as a tab too.

Yes, 2.2 looks like a Publisher-oriented update, but still, some good things arrived to Designer nonetheless
As Illustrator has many fonctions close to Indesign.
Are there also available in the iPad version?
It's sad such a small update with no major features was called 2.2 and not 2.1.2.
The third digit is for bugfix Updates, the 2nd includes new features. That‘s how Affinity address this.
@@MacBabba65 Designer didn't get a new feature. Nothing new. Its unfair to call it a new version if all the features are for Publisher. Like wtf?

Need a 'vector brushes' update... not third rate, amateur bitmap brushes - masquerading as vector.
Must be saving it up for version 4.9 in 2028.

why they never give crop tool a shortcut?
When you select an object, a pink outline appears for a moment and then disappears. In my case that contour does NOT disappear, do you know any solution?😢
Abre el documento donde presentas el problema. Si ocurre con todos, abre cualquiera, o uno nuevo.
Una vez abierto, has click en la flecha hacia abajo (la inversa de ^) que está al lado derecho del imán rojo en el menú de barras superior, el mismo donde cambias entre personas en los programas.
Una vez hecho clic, aparecerá un listado; lo único que tienes que hacer es desactivar la opción "Mostrar Candidatos de Ajuste".
Si es necesario, repite con Photo y Publisher.

2.2 is a bit underwheling. I cant see any of these that I'd ever use. I suppose it was at least free.
