Would like to know if you would consider building the plates for sale. Or if i could get the measurements and dimensions of them so i could make my own. This is really interesting and i too don't like the whole twin stick idea too much. This would work perfectly for me. Please let me know if you are interested in talking about this. Thanks
very interesting idea! doing this myself and im making the notches a bit deeper for shifting both at the same time. this way it is more obvious that you are shifting both instead of one. also i wonder how this does in the vehicle as far as rattling around. i would maybe come up with a spring or something to keep pressure on the lever so it doesnt flop around a bunch while you are driving
you prolly dont give a shit but if you are bored like me during the covid times you can watch pretty much all of the new series on instaflixxer. I've been watching with my brother during the lockdown :)
I am locking up both my axles and from my last experience steering suffered. Looking into twin stick mods to get front dig, and found this gem! Was hoping for a weekend job, but rabbit hole opened up and now I want to rebuild it, go with a Novak ultra short output, and do upgrades to some seals and stuff. So I may have to buy another one so I can run that until I finish doing all the things to my good one. Can I have your phone number in case my wife needs to ask why the hell I am tearing up stuff I already rebuilt. Thanks! 😅
How do you remove the interlock between the sticks (Rear and Front) ? it is not dangerous for the case to have different speeds between front and rear? Thanks for you're answer
There is piece that looks like a pill between the two shift rods that needs to be removed. This allows the front and rear to shift independently. Yes, you are correct in that this potentially could be catastrophic to the transfer case if the front and rear were engaged into two different speeds. This is why I added an external safety to prevent this from happening.
Thanks for watching! I don’t have a video of the pill removal. I don’t recall it being too difficult, just a pain pulling the the transfer case and putting it back in.

Very cool and useful modification.

It doesn’t rattle around too bad because it alway lays to one side. The rubber boot does dampen the noise a little.
Looks very cool!
Would you have a template for your cut out plates?
It looks way easier to shift than the old system.

@Watson Odin yup, have been watching on InstaFlixxer for months myself :D
Do you have a template. Or just rough measurements?
Where does the 3rd plate go? Didnt see it after you describe ed it
It's on the bottom
Do you sell any of those plates and bent handle?
No, I just made the one.
How much yo send me a set up 😏 i like it good job brother
Same here. Would love to buy a set for my jeep 300.

Thanks for watching! If you rebuild it enough time she will stop asking!

Hi do you have a template of measurements for making those shift plates ?
I do have a drawing of the shift plates. I'll include it in a short video.
You have a video taking the pills out??????... awesome work brother...

Was your Dana 300 originally a twin stick or single
It was originally a single.
