How old are you, and when do you get your license??? Also, did you watch my PIZZA CHALLENGE that I filmed with Rylan last week? 🍕 You can watch it HERE: th-cam.com/video/vIcqs7XaqdA/w-d-xo.html ❤️'s -Kamri
Wow you seriously are 15 and driving?! I remember when you were a 10 year old, getting your hair done by your mom! You have grown into a beautiful young woman❤️
Texas is so different than south carolina 😂 Our drivers ed is after you get your permit Drivers ed is in our highschool (and they take you driving) You have to be 15 or older to get your permit Our permit test is a computer test and you can only miss like 6 questions You NEED your permit before joining Drivers Ed
I’m from New York and you have to be 16 to get your permit, then once you have your permit you have to take drivers ed. After 12 weeks of drivers ed, you have to take a 5 hour which is basically like a pre-road test that you have to pass to be eligible for your license. All of this also has to be done between 6 months or more before getting your license because in New York you need to have a six month minimum between your permit test and licence test.
I waited until I had finished school before I got my license. My dad taught me - being taught by your parents was totally acceptable where I lived. I learnt how to drive in big open car parks usually on the weekends when they were empty. This was way back before everything went 24/7. (ie back in the 1980s!!). So I got my license at age 18, but I never really liked driving. I was always scared that I would have a crash. So by the time I was 30, I had stopped driving and i just used public transport. My license has long since expired and never been renewed, and I still use public transport. This was a great video, with some very useful tips for getting your permit.
In Victoria, Australia you get your learners permit at 16, then have to drive with a fully licensed adult for 2 years and 120 hours. For your learners permit there is a written test. When you are 18, you go for an actual physical test and another written test. Then you are on drivers probation for 4 years, which have strict restrictions. Then at 22 you can get your licence
Mackenzie Coakley I’m from Victoria too! And it’s so annoying that you have to do 120 hours and have to wait till you’re 18 especially living in a rural town with no public transport and limited place for employment.
I’m from South Australia and ours isn’t as bad as yours. We get our L’s when we are 16, you have to do 75 hours; 60 day, 15 night, and you have to pass a hazard perception test and either do logbook or vort with an instructor. Then you can go for your P’s when you are 17 and then a year after you get your P’s you get your P2’s and then after being on those for two years you get your full licence.
Yvette Desmond I think the whole of Australia can get there’s at 17, except Victoria. They are trying to change it however so we too can get them at 17
I’m from Quebec. Here you can take your class 1 month before your 16th birthday, and then you still have theorical and practical lessons for one whole year before you can do the real exam to drive alone. Soooo, you can drive with someone when you’re 16 and alone when you’re 17! Love you 😘 and your family!
To get licence her in Croatia you have to be 18 years old. You have to go to drivers school for a month or two then you take tests and first aid tests also. If you pass that then you are back in school but this time you have to drive 30 hours with instructor and then take drivers test. It take lot of time, 3 months if you pass all from first time. And btw it is VERY, VERY expensive 1100 dollars for all that.
Kristina Klobučar Sigurnjak It kinda works the same in the Netherlands. Here you have to be 16,5 to start driving lessons and you can take the test when your 17. If you get your driverslicence at 17 you have to drive with one of your parents sitting next to you until your 18. The hours you have to drive with your intructor depend on how fast you learn things. And the driving test costs €250,-... verry expensive
Alelia Yerby Yeah thats true. But it is just alot of money when you have to pay it by yourself. I just started driving lessons and I am 21. Started late because I had to safe up all the money first. But as you say we will get there 😊
I’m in Canada. We get our driver’s permit at 16 and I’m 14 almost 15 right now. Looking at your video is making more excited to start driving!! Thanks for the wonderful tips♥️♥️♥️♥️
Texas is so different Michigan wow! Once you are 14 and 8 months you can sign up for segment one drivers training. After 6 hours of class and 2 hours of behind the wheel experience you get your pink permit where you can drive with a parent. Once you finish segment one you can get your green permit certificate which is after 24 hours of class and 10 hours of behind the wheel driving (it’s not that bad) and then you take your green certificate to the secretary of state because we don’t have a DMV. You don’t even have to be 15 to get it! Then before you can take your road test you have to take segment 2 which is just a 6 hour class only takes a few days to complete. Then once you have finished both segment 1 and 2, have your permit for 6 months, and have 50 hours of supervised driving which 10 have to be a night, you can take your road test! (Fingers crossed, mines on April 29th) and that certificate is valid when you’re 16 and then you take that to sos for your license. Sorry I know you guys don’t care but i’m super bored lol
I'm 23 and haven't gotten my driver's permit (or license) yet... I'm terrified of being behind the wheel and out in the streets 😢 Someone please tell me I'm not the only one
It’s so interesting how each state does it differently. I live in Virginia and got my permit today. We take driver’s ed with PE in sophomore year and you can get your permit at 15 and a half even if you haven’t taken drivers ed yet. After you finish drivers ed you get a card and then you take behind the wheel with a separate driving school. Once you pass that and turn 16 and 3 months you can get your license
wow it’s crazy to see how different each states driving rules are. here in alaska, we get our permit at 14, by just taking a quick 16 question test. Then we can get our license at 16 by just doing the driving test with the dmv
CONGRATS!!!!! I got my permit when I turned 15 and 1/2 which was a couple of weeks ago. if only I knew this before lol this video is pretty accurate 😂 and I live in nv, so u gave some great advice!
I’m 16 and taking my drivers test on Thursday so when you schedule your drivers test you’ll need all that stuff again (except the 2 proofs of residency) plus a 30 hour driving log and a DE-964(Don’t quote me lol ) that they give you when you finish drivers ed have fun driving❤️
Where I live all you have to do to get your permit is to study the driver's manual then take the test. After that, you take driver's ed and you practice driving with your instructor, which helps with your driving hours. For me, I was lucky enough to get in my schools driver's ed class and at the same time I also took private driving lessons with another instructor. I had my license for almost 6 years now. Congrats on passing your permit!
Congrats!!! Where I live you can’t get your provisionals until you’re 15 and 9 months, then you have to go to driving school and wait another 3 months before you can test for the real thing.
In Virginia you have to be 15 and 6 months for your permit and have to take a test. Once you are a sophomore they give you drivers ed as part of PE and health. You have to hold a learners permit for 9 months and accumulate 30 hours of daylight driving, 15 at night. Then you have to take a behind the wheel driving coarse for a week if you are under 18 before taking your drivers test.
In my state luckily we took drivers ED through school. So we didn’t have to go out of our way to get our license. The test was easy and everything although it was longer than the 30 some hours you mentioned. The only thing I had to do at the DMV was just actually get my picture taken for my license. Very simple
Getting my learners in Canada seems so much easier than where you are. All I had to do was learn the rules of the road and answer a 30 question test and if you pass you get it, but only than can you start driving. Than you have to drive for a year, drivers school is optional but it lowers your insurance cost when you get a vehicle.
In Alberta you can get your permit at 14 and your license at 16. Drivers ed for us is a course you can take in highschool after you get your permit where they go over the road book (that you used to get your permit) and take you driving. The permit test is computerized 30 questions and you can only miss 6. To get your permit all we need to bring is passport and birth certificate.
Congrats on getting your permit! Please keep me in your prayers as I’m really sick with the flu it would mean the world to me if you did! Safe driving kamri! Love you so much!
That's a lot to go through. I live in south Carolina and the day you turn 15 you can go up to the DMV and take a test to make sure you know the rules of the road (which you learn from a manual that you study from) and there is 30 questions and you can miss 6. If you pass, you get you permit and you can drive with an adult 21 or over in the car, and six months after you get your permit you can take your license test. You take one 8 hour driver's ed class within that 6 months and drive with your instructor for a total of 8 hours (you can do it throughout a few days or one long day). After you have done that you can take you license test with your instructor, or with the DMV. If you pass you get your day license, which means you can drive during the day, but not at night. And a year later, you can get your full license.
here in Florida, you gotta take the DATA course (Drug and Alcohol course) and the Permit test online. you can start at 14 and can receive it as soon as you turn 15. You have to hold the permit for a year and you can take the Drivers test when your 16.
I live in Maine and when I took drivers ed my instructor was the one that gave me my permit, not the DMV. I didn’t have to go to the DMV until the day I took my driving test. But I did need 70 hours of driving with a permit. 40 in the day, 30 at night. Along with Approx. 15 hours with the instructor.
#PowerHour CONGRATS KAMRI!! I'm so happy for you❤ Unlike the US, in Spain you can only get the license when you are 18, so I've to wait a long time😶 Love you so much 💗💗💗
Yeeeessss! A driver's permit is so exciting! I really enjoy watching your fun and creative videos every week and getting replies from you,. I love you so much, sis! Love, Katelyn #kamfam #notficationsquad #powerhour
Congrats on getting your permit!!!!! I just got mine a few weeks ago. Sadly, my picture turned out horrible. ☹️ Oh well, it’s not the end of the world.
In Australia, you have to wait until you are 16 to start learning how to drive, and there is a lot more stuff you have to do. It takes 3 years to get your full licence
In addition to the proof of residence it has to have a RECENT DATE not just random mail with your address. I learned that when I struggled getting my drivers license!
In The UK, getting our Drivers License is so much easier, we pay £50 (IDK if it has gone up/down in price since I got mine but it was £50) to get our 'provisional licence' which you can use for any motor vehicle, (motor bikes require a CBT, 'Critical Basic Training' but you can do that at 16) and a car you have to be 17 to learn to drive a car, but you don't do a test before you get the provisional license. Then you do your Theory Test, which is a multiple choice test, and a 'hazard perception' test which is a series of videos of a car driving and you click when there is a potential hazard and click again when the potential hazard becomes an actual hazard, and you do that on a computer in an office somewhere, obviously depending on where you live. Then after that when your Driving Instructor thinks you're ready you can book your practical test, which is obviously the driving part and when you pass that you can have the joys of buying a car, if you don't already have one, then paying for Insurance, Tax, Petrol, MOT's (yearly checks to make sure your car is safe to drive), repairs, tyres and all the other things drivers have to pay for. yay. So we have to wait longer but it is potentially a quicker process when we can start learning to drive to when we pass and get on the road. We also generally learn in a manual, (or 'stick') as standard and if you struggle with that you can choose to drive an automatic, I do know a few people that didn't bother with a manual and went straight to auto, personally I can drive any transmission, manual or auto, which in my opinion is the best part about passing in a manual, that you can drive anything :). Also I was surprised when you mentioned B&B are renewing their licences, because I am nearly 22 and I have had my licence for 5 years in October this year, and I don't have to renew it until 2023, 10 years after I got it, so its obviously very different across the pond. Wishing you all the best in your driving journey Kamri. Be Safe out there
here in Florida it’s a lot different and a little easier, first you have to take the drug & alcohol test , signals & everything you need to know test. Which is 4 hours long but of course you can pause it from time to time. You have to pass with at least an 80% or higher & on the final exam you only have an hour . Finally you have to go to the DMV & it’s $100 for everything all together ... I’m going to the DMV this Friday for mine , I’ve passed the test and done everything I needed to do all I have to do now is go to the DMV :).
Yay congrats please please make more driving videos I'm studying for my permit and I would love any tips and tricks so would love to see more driving videos 😄
This is so different to Australia! In Melbourne, you do a computerised test to get your learners permit at 16 and you must do 120 hours (including 10-night driving) and a hazards test before going for your probationary license test at 18! Drive safe Kamri :)
You’re 3 days older than me and already have your permit. That’s pretty cool. In California you have to be 15 1/2 to get your permit so I gotta wait like 4 months
In Australia you have to be 16 to get your learners license, then you have to have that for one year to get your provisional 1. Have that for one year to get your provision 2, then you have to have that for two years to get your full license. Each state has a different amount of hours you have to get on your learners to get your provisionals. My state you have to get 120 hours which includes 20 night hours.
oh my gosh kamri!!!😭 you are so lucky!! I’m turning 15 next month but in virginia where I live we can’t get our permit until we are 15 and 6 months but thank you so much for all this info!!
even in Australia there so different compared to America in Australia we can renew our licenses online so need to go into Motor Reg(what we call it in Australia)
In Iowa we get our learners permit when we’re 14 and 6 months after you get your permit, you take drivers ed and then can get your school permit and at 16 you get your license except it’s strict until you’re 18.

got my permit when i was 16 last year & i’m going to get my license next month! ☺️
In Australia, you have to wait until you are 16 to start learning how to drive, and there is a lot more stuff you have to do. It takes 3 years to get your full licence
Congrats Kamri you're the best and ilysm!
Congrats! This calls for a challenge......a messy challenge 😂😂😂
I've done everything already!
Congratulations Kamri you deserved it I’m so happy for you ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'm getting my license in March!! So excited!
In addition to the proof of residence it has to have a RECENT DATE not just random mail with your address. I learned that when I struggled getting my drivers license!
OMG THAT'S SO GREAT #POWERHOUR I am so happy for you Kamri and i love you all
Thank you, Jhabi! ❤️'s -Kamri
Rep the Nepali flag!!
Omg! I can’t believe you posted this today, I’m going to go get my permit tomorrow!😘😂
Yayyy i am so happy for you kamri!!!
Be Safe out there
Omg Congrats!!!Btw Your really pretty!♡
here in Florida it’s a lot different and a little easier, first you have to take the drug & alcohol test , signals & everything you need to know test.
#Early #PowerHour Congrats Kam!! Love your channel and love you too💗
Yay congrats please please make more driving videos I'm studying for my permit and I would love any tips and tricks so would love to see more driving videos 😄
Congratulations Kamri! 🙌👏🙌❤️❤️✨🎉🎊🎈
This is so different to Australia! In Melbourne, you do a computerised test to get your learners permit at 16 and you must do 120 hours (including 10-night driving) and a hazards test before going for your probationary license test at 18! Drive safe Kamri :)
When I turned 15 and took my permit test, I think I only missed 1 - 2 questions
You’re 3 days older than me and already have your permit. That’s pretty cool. In California you have to be 15 1/2 to get your permit so I gotta wait like 4 months
This was very helpful! Love it!
Congratulations on getting your permit!!! I just got mine on Tuesday!
My nephew just got his permit. He’s doing classes too
I'm 17 and still don't have my permit. I'm homeschooled and I live in Pennsylvania. My dad will be teaching me how to drive :)
CONGRATS KAMRI❤️️❤️️❤️️❤️️
I live in Florida and to get your permit is definitely pretty different. I turned 15 in January, pretty close to Kamri!

it’s so crazy how different our experiences were, congrats !
Hi kamriii 😍 congratulations you are amazing. ❤
HisKingdom777 almost the same for me you can get your permit at 15 but license at 16.
I am going to take the test this Saturday!!!!! Whooo hoooo

The laws are so different in Texas than in England
even in Australia there so different compared to America in Australia we can renew our licenses online so need to go into Motor Reg(what we call it in Australia)
chelseasarah 93 😂😂❤️
but its cool seeing how the laws for driving differs around the world
Is it harder than this in Europe? ❤️'s -Kamri
Kamri Noel a little bit but we don’t get permits and we can get our license at 17 years old :(
Congrats Kamri !!!!! WAY TOO GO✅
Already!!!!! Really I remember when she was still like 13
Congrats!!! So proud of you and who you are becoming!! 💗
Congrats kamri I feel so happy for u❤💛💚💙💖💜
In Iowa we get our learners permit when we’re 14 and 6 months after you get your permit, you take drivers ed and then can get your school permit and at 16 you get your license except it’s strict until you’re 18.
congratulations Kamri!
