Love this great way for me to use pigments could use glitter too. We need more Melissa and or gel design I have both tube and pot still getting use to the difference from polygel to hard gel I like hard gel but floating is a challenge
Yes Greg does teach differently than Melissa does but the reason they show both ways is because everybody’s different and the way he does it which he deems the best way or the safest way or the most efficient way may not work for some and her way which she deems the best way or the safest way or the most efficient way may work for some where Greg’s doesn’t! They always show different ways of doing things to accommodate the most amount of people! Remember what works for one may not work for another!

Honestly these nails are pretty time-consuming. Short ones obviously don’t take as long. That’s why you charge according to your design and what you’re doing. Then it’s worth your while and you enjoy creating it! 😉🤩💅🏻✨

That’s a great question. I could’ve went into the tornado bit. I would have taken the bulk down faster. The tornado bit takes bulk off faster and the core safety takes it off fast but not as much as the tornado bit. So it’s basically your preference. They’re both carbide bits, one’s just a little more aggressive than the other. 😉😊💅🏻♥️✨

Suzie at nail career education did the exact same design using clear instead of white without using a massive amount of gel. It looks nice with the white but the process was a mess.
Definitely one of those "trust the process nails". I'd love to see more plastic wrap nails! Question; do you have to be a professional to order gel from the YN site? There's a Synergy Gel Trial kit that I've been eyeing but I'm not a pro.

You can encapsulate chill with acrylic as long as it’s acrylic gel and acrylic. If that makes sense.

Mel was using our safety bit, coarse to remove the old color

You can do a similar technique with acrylic. You just have to place the plastic wrap quickly before the acrylic starts to set too much.
