Seeing chillhop make a party for a song release and inviting creators over, to me it means that the lofi hip-hop genre is growing and hopefully might become big. I really hope this grows into something known to world so they can enjoy the chill music as well!! ❤
I personally think using the term "lo-fi" is incorrect and misleading for the genre. Honestly nothing that is recorded digitally can be considered remotely "lo fi" anymore. Let's leave "lo-fi" as a term for analogue recording as it should be.

This is a prime example that it doesnt matter what musical instrument brands you can afford and own...its the hours of practice and creativity development that will push you towards a higher level of musicianship.
Why is it that, this kind music is not as famous as other genre's like rnb and hiphop? I feel like the world is missing on greatness and healing. More people would be cured from depression if this music was made popular. To all the people who are sad, i hope you know that you are NOT alone, and all you need is chillhop.

All I know is that both are French producers. L’indécis (on the right with the white shirt and hat) and Sadtoi (on the left in the brown/black). Anyone correct me if I’m wrong because I’m just as intrigued and this is fairly new to me. I hope to see more of them and more of chillhop/lofi artists do these live recordings!

This is modern jazz and I'm hear for it. I love this. It's not the "classic jazz genre" like how most people know it, but jazz as in synergy and story telling through music.
