CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Buried and left for dead, McQuade (Chuck Norris) cracks a beer over his head and escapes like a real man.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
In this Spaghetti-western-like martial arts actioner, Texas Ranger J. J. McQuade (Chuck Norris) is up against the weapons-dealer Rawley Wilkes (David Carradine) after Wilkes kidnaps McQuade's partner and daughter and takes them to Mexico. McQuade's personal vendetta is encouraged by the government because Wilkes is hijacking U.S. arms shipments for his illicit weapons deals and the government wants him stopped. After the kidnapping incident, McQuade is assigned Kayo (Robert Beltran) a rookie patrolman, to accompany him in his fight, and he is also joined by FBI-agent Jackson (Leon Isaac Kennedy). Jackson and McQuade track down Wilkes' secret airstrip -- and that is when the fireworks begin. Every weapon known to human technology is brought into the picture as McQuade, also armed with his lethal hands and feet, goes ballistic.

But, but, the supercharger needs oxygen to run, and if it's underground it hasn't got any oxygen, and ...
...aw, fuck it.
LOL. Well, it is a movie. IMO Chuck's best one.
I imagine that given the engine and under carriage were still void of dirt and still had little oxygen available, so in turn, there was enough to get the motor going, in doing what he did (If it was plausible) the engine would have been right on the border in terms of burning out and this last ditch effort meant that McQuade used up what little oxygen he had left. In other words, had he failed, he would have died sooner. But he didn't because he is Chuck Norris.
But he let out a HeroScream and that would have given the engine the push it needed.
Not the DODGE supercharger.. It runs off of sweat and beer..

So what this supercharger setup is supposed to be is a turbonique supercharger. It actually looks nothing like a roots blower but a turbocharger that has an additional carb that sits on the air side and the exhaust turbine
Side is actually a rocket turbine fueled by a highly unstable fuel called thermolin . Look it up it is real but I’ve never been able to find one in action . What you will see by the company is also a rocket axel and that did actually work and would produce 1300 hp at the flip of a switch. The idea of these auxiliary power supercharger sources go back to world war 2 air craft called W.E.P ( war emergency power ) and was reserved for limited use under 5 min as a last resort of emergency use because engines would have to be torn down for inspection and rebuild if used .

What's funny is the super charger is belt driven. Already on when he starts the truck so the buttons on the dash dont do anything. No clutch setup on a blower. On and off. Just Hollywood auto right here. Epic scene though.
