The small hydraulic lifting bridge at Chatham Maritime Marina. For the first bridge raise, one of the barriers failed to lower. A marina office attendant had to come out and manually lower the barrier by a release of air pressure I assume. Once the barrier was held down and locked in place, the bridge was able to raise.

Barrier goes oofies. I found it quite funny how the man made the barrier worse than before. I have never seen anything like this happen to a bridge

Thanks! I've never seen something like this either. The barrier had to be forced down to ensure it was locked in place. After seeing this, it's quite clear these barriers need some form of replacement soon

There’s a glitch here. So the parts in one of the barrier models have swapped names with the bridge parts. So when the bridge lifts instead that barrier lifts. The man then swapped the names over so the bridge lifts and not the barrier.

Umm.. That's a drawbridge... Not a lift bridge.. I think... Noticing it has the same alarm as the fire alarm in haggirston castle holiday park, also the alarm turned off early, nice vid!

Nice Video, the Gate sure is stuck up for some reason that needs to be down to Stop Traffic to let the Ferry cross the Bridge, Malfunction Gates is not Good at all and to call the crews to fix the Barriers.

Well considering the attendant was there to fix the issue, they would've been aware of the problem anyway, and there wasn't any immediate danger. I have a feeling these barriers will be replaced soon anyway.
