According to the plans it was supposed to be clad in glass and there is a taller skinny building going up beside it and the AC soon after. Be a while before that hotel is paid off.

Hi CPI was told after I put my vieo up that this tower is actually the reinforced lift shaft of the new hotel. The hotel will be built around it. We are now in a huge debt situation becasue of all the billions Boris borrowed from somewhere to pay workers to do nothing. This borrowing will no doubt have to be paid back with interest. This will hit the ordinary man via higher shop prices, petrol prices, house prices etc etc and taxes! I reckon the pound will also be devalued and we will become a cashless society. All in the pipeline coming our way. Will services improve too? No. Oh dear!

I'm only thinking it may be a hotel FF I may well be wrong. I was thinking the same thing about room size. The views would be good though.

Hi, just to make you aware, this is actually an office tower, due for completion next year and part of the overall City Quays development (a residential tower is also proposed on the other side of the AC hotel). There are images showing the completed look on this website:

Not very nice to work on though! Especially if the operator is racing as the trades in their are flat out

Hi Mick I'm not associated with the building industry so I haven't got a clue as to the pressures and difficulties. Hard, cold, outdoor all weather working, to a deadline and trying to work as a unit with so many different tradespeople. Not at all fun. Best wishes from the Belfast Castlereagh hills.
