Lots of great outdoor activities, entertainment and great food throughout the area. You've got Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport /CHA , Dalton Municipal/DNN to the south in my hometown as well as several other GA airports within close proximity. So yeah, the next time you are up this way check out the scenic city of Chattanooga and the surrounding area.
Beautiful area!! We’ve been to KCHA and had lunch at the Boathouse. Cruise around the area and return to the Fbo. Really friendly staff and people. Will definitely go again.

You are at my home airport Captain Valerie! Very cool! It's on busy place. I learned ti fly at that airport all the way back in 1979. I fly an SR22 out of there. When was this filmed?
Great video bro! Mr. Pat Epps is a FANTASTIC guy!! I live about a 45 miles NW of there in a little town called Rockmart Ga. (4A4) I came down a couple years ago and ate at the Restaurant there on site. If you haven’t done so you need to. It is a cool COOL place. But Mr. Pat gave us two hour plus tour of the whole place. One of the Hangers is like walking into a time capsule from WW2. Half of the over head truss are steel and the other half is wood because as they we’re building that BIG hanger during WW2 they had half of the trusses on the roof and they had to take the other half to get melted down to be used in the war. So that’s why half is steel and other half wood. There’s a LOT of Very interesting things and history around there.

Nice flight. Passenger excitement requires additional level of patience and concentration which you handled well. Always a memorable trip when weather, airplane and passengers cooperate. Add St. Christopher and St. Joseph of Cupertino for guidance. Still looking for the saint for hot starting my Cirrus...safe travels !!
Great Flying!! I really got a kick out of the two in the back seat and the the cool cucumber with the pilot in the front seat when things got a little rocky. Things go well when you got a rock solid aviator in charge. Great stuff!

@@SkylineBaronPilot The first flight after getting my license, I remember flying my best friend out to Myrtle Beach and back. It ended up being a night flight on the way back (unplanned; time got away from us where there). We had a complete electrical failure that night, so I couldn't see anything inside. Time to just rely on the training (and my ears). I now carry 3 flashlights!!! If you guys ever make it out west to Telluride, don't hesitate to reach out. Many folks do, but I'm not a proponent of a piston plane landing there. But, Montrose is just as far away from my place. We'd be happy to guide you folks around the area for outdoor activities! Safe flying!!
@@campingalan thank you so much! We have friends in Denver and Boulder and we are planning a flight there at some point this year. We have many headlights and flash lights on board as well as a handheld radio fully charged at all times. We are always learning from each other. 🤓✈️
@@SkylineBaronPilot THAT will be a great flight!! We are about 6 hr drive from Boulder (that is where I went to school). I take my boss over to Denver in his king air every once in awhile so that he can do international flights out of Denver. It is a fabulous 35 minute hop over the mountains. Yes!! I'm always soaking others for tips. It makes it more fun, and safer, as well.
