  • How to use the C8 Launch Control. Actual video of it being used. BUT can the driver pull off a sub 3 second 0 to 60? The 3 runs I did were back to back with no cool down period. This car is amazing!
    See my other video, launch Control Track Mode, for more video.

    Wow, amazing! 2 possible ways to add a fraction or two of speed. 1. When your in "Mexico" next, empty the gas down to almost empty and 2, Find a straight road. As you enter that slight left turn, in "Mexico", you are introducing just the slightest bit of unnecessary g-force friction! Almost not noticeable I'm sure, but when you are looking for a fraction of a second, every bit counts right! Love your channel, we are almost neighbors! On the list at Stingray, just down the road. Can't wait!!

    On 2022, you must push traction control button twice then a 3rd time to get competitive mode. Two pushes don't work on 2022 models. Just an FYI.

    C8 Corvette launch control. Something you’ll never see on a Hennessey promotional video because going 0-60 in 2.9 seconds will destroy whatever product it is they’re trying to sell.
    Example: Ram TRX vs C8. The TRX is rated 0-60 at 4.4 seconds. But they show the truck kill the Vette off the line. The Vette didn’t use launch control and eased out of the hole. Why? Because they’re promoting their package for the TRX.
    Hennessey did the same thing against the GT500 and several other cars they pitted the C8 against. Their videos are fake in hopes the results make you want to buy their product.

    Love the video! Just picked up my 2023 last weekend and it's such a great car. Just curious, what temps would you say are safe to launch the car? I also have the Z51 package with the summer tires but I know it's too cold here in PA to do WOT pulls.

      Actually, (sorry for the late reply) your best bet is to check the DA (which is density altitude). Most drag racers keep an eye on this number. I did a video on Density Altitude a few months ago.

    Was that in manual or drive With launch? Also 15% tint is a ticket in Florida. I want to tint but don’t want to give them a reason to stop me. Fun to watch.

    Mine is on order. Cool feature. So at 3500. You let go of the brake. But the accelerator remained floored?

    • @RobertMacCready
      @RobertMacCready  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If you get into launch control mode, you can leave the gas pedal to the floor, and it will settle at 3500. If you're a little weak on the brake pedal you will go to redline.

  • @DRCEM

      Maybe headers and high flow cats. Looked at some of the new exhausts and they're way over priced.
