My husband and I started watching this and since he has no patience, he told me to fast forward to the walk through part. I told him I couldn’t because I have to see Matt do his Superman jump!!!
Andrea, I could tell from your voice how tired you were. Thanks to you and Matt for putting in the long hours to bring us another great review! We appreciate it!
@@foxcroftandrea3213 That's the dedication I am thanking you for! It would have been easy to skip this review, but you didn't. I look forward to more great content in the future.
Really like this motor home. Perfect for national parks and no slides! Likes: 1. Outside storage is awesome! 2. Large awning to extend living area. 3. Overhead bed large enough for adult guests. 4. Charging station on dinette. 5. Flip up counter space, it has an oven, place for the trash can too. 6. Bedroom cabinets are great allowing the cabinet and drawer in the main area to become pantry/kitchen storage. 7. While I don't like water on the floor from showers when the shower is smaller I prefer a curtain so I don't feel so closed in. 8. Lots of natural light provided by the bathroom skylight and all the coach windows. Dislikes: 1. Toilet placement is tight. 2. Would prefer appliances to all be Furrion (not just the stove) I like the appliance package to match. 3. The gas cap is not locking and is exposed (needs to be behind a locking cover).
Really like this one. I think they could have solved the bathroom issue if they had swapped the toilet and the sink placements. A corner sink and medicine cabinet would have left plenty of room for a prime toilet position between sink and shower. If they made that change and offered it with theater seats (or even a couch w/ recliners) instead of the dinette, I think this would be at the top of my list.
Ours is even smaller. 19 ft. Only half of dinette bunk. But it works for us. Would someday like a small A class used. It is a nice comfy looking camper though. Good storage space. Our outside space we added an outside tv in it. Well good to see Andrea. Love u guys
A good looking little RV.. But what's more amazing is that this very small, lighter weight (no slides) motorhome has the same motor and trans as a very heavy 38 footer.. it must be a rocket compared to most..
weight capacity for over the cab sleeping makes it more flexible for sleeping configurations, no slides keeps it simple pre wired for solar from the factory. would like to see a second entry point to the rear storage area, a cover over the water fills on the outside
I would love to see you guys take a trip to Europe and/or Asia to some of their RV shows or to different manufacturers. I would love to see you guys compare and contrast what's available and popular there vs here. Of course once it's safe to travel again.
I love this one. It's a great size for a single person to live full time in. That outside storage is amazing. Not a fan of Bathroom but not a deal breaker. I want one. I'll be calling.
I agree with Andrea about the shower curtain. Due to the smaller shower size, I see someone getting out of the shower and finding a large puddle of water on the floor. The cabinets are a neutral brown color. A lighter color would have been better. They also needed handles that would have offset the color. I'm thinking that a chrome look might have helped. This would be a nice unit for a retired single person or couple.
I'm with Andrea, I hate the shower curtain; also not a fan of the cabinet color and those kind of handles catch your clothes when you're moving around in a small space. Love that it has the drawer for pots and pans beneath the sink, and all that overhead storage, and the oven and fridge.
I like the bed. It’s cozy and the windows when open will let you feel outdoorsy. And they gave u a sink sprayer!!! The handles I don’t like on the cabinets. I’d prefer the inset ones. I know it’s a small home but I need somewhere to sit. Oh. I like the huge storage.
Got to be some way to eliminate the corner bed . Love the size of this unit , but as an older persons ,( 74), that is too hard to get out of for both of us . Possibly if the bathroom was moved to the right side along with the refrigerator a path way may be available ? Stay safe nice to see you both together 👍😀
We looked at one on a Chevy chassis today, loved it! Three not so crazy about - shower curtain, single basin kitchen sink, no propane quick connect for a grill. Three things we loved about it - even though it’s only a 3500 chassis it has 2,619 pounds of cargo capacity, no slide out (hogging cargo weight and potentially breaking), and that trunk under the bed is perfect for our E-Bikes and more (also only 24’ long), and a real oven! When we’re ready to buy, this is likely the one.
I agree with Andrea . . . I HATE getting up in the middle of the night to get on an airplane! This is a pretty decent RV but I'm a little worried about the roof and the sidewalls as they're not Azdel. Outside storage is terrific, but I think I'd lean toward a Coachman Freelander 22XG because that storage, with the back door in the coach, is so much more flexible.
I love no slides... they always break. And I love every other aspect of this... But some similar makes (Gulfstream) offer the same floor plan with a corner queen 60 inches wide. 54 inches is just not that comfortable for two. I realize Thor wanted to make a larger bathroom (6 inches) but my gosh, how much time do people spend in the bathroom vs the bedroom? and most campgrounds offer plumbing so rarely does one need to use the RV bath. big mistake IMHO. its a deal breaker Reply
I would like to see those drop down tables. In every showing you say that it makes a bed, but you never demonstrate. I’d like to see how difficult or easy it is to actually set it up. How big are they? How come you never show it set up?
Love this class C! Love the lack of stuff to break down and that awning is fab! Matt pretty please mention the number of seatbelts (the floorplan pics are not always accurate) I hv a fam of 5 so it would really help! 😘 love you guys❤
Perfect couple and driveway size. That shower would feel a lot bigger if they’d stop with the worthless molded in shelves that anything you place on them always falls off.
I like that they moved the Generator to the front of the Motorhome, away from the bed area. I love the Storage. I don't like the bathroom sink, we can use the kitchen one. I do agree with Matt and Andrea. I hope you both Have a great week. Love the videos. Would love another Rv but finances are to limited with my Retirement
Hi Matt and Andrea! Aawh Matt-I don't know if I can help ya on that one, Matt- I think you're on your own(after coming down that little mountain🧗♂️ )Nobody! The "Make up for Top Golf" skip! 🤭 😊1.Great awning/One AC unit/Solar! 2.Comfy driver's seat and (couch-like passenger's seat for Andrea! Great for naptime!! 🥱Great front bunk!/nice kitchen appliances/ cabinetry with nice handles on cabinets! 3.Lots of storage/Great sized and amount of bedding for this motorhome! 🙄1.Accordion shades. 2.Kinda dark. 3.Outdated sink and shower rod/ not enough space at toilet area.
I love this! I believe I could handle 24ft! Does this have cameras on the mirrors? Wow! I believe the only changes I would make is the fridge needs to be 12v and the handles on the cabinets need to be a lighter color. Solar is definitely needed. I agree with Andrea, the shower curtain is not ideal. I love "no slides." And I love the two of you, God Bless you both!
The 3 things I like about this motorhome: 1. the wireless charging 2. the cabinet under the refrigerator 3. the basement storage The 3 things I don't like about this motorhome: 1. the sink in the bathroom 2. shower curtain 3. dark cabinetry in small motorhome
I like the bottom storage! The handles on the cabentry are ok but the color of cabinets are dark. I like a sink in the bathroom but it could be configured differently to accommodate a better throne to sit on- Very Important! Thanks for the video you two!
Salutations happy-tired souls. I just wanted to thank both of you for doing these reviews. Andrea, you're tired from being awake since the wee hours and flying, and yet you still put on your happy face and do a review with your hub - what a dedicated trooper, not to mention you look really great after such a long day. It's hot and humid outside and you both still take the time to go through everything thoroughly and give us the best detailed tours as we look through our device windows. Your honesty and 3&3 opinions are the best. My 3&3's: Dislikes: 1. Shower curtain, 2. bathroom sink, 3. Dark cabinetry. Likes: 1. Actual oven, 2. Outside storage with no slides, 3. North/south bed.
Nice! ... For the size & class. Roof was kinda funky though... Sealant? Price point shouldn’t be more than the high $60’s. AND I would inspect thoroughly. They are cranking these units out fast! Quality?? Longevity??
Starting the 2022s on May 1, 2021. It always feels like the automakers and RV industries like to sell next model years early in the previous year don't they? Beautiful compact motorhome!
Small unit, price is good. Bathroom tight shower curtain needs to go. Do like the storage under bed area and bath, over head bunk good weight. Super job 🐶😻
Hello Matt and Andrea! I like this layout, agree about the shower curtain. I like the cabinets, like the windows in the bedroom. Food storage is slim but doable. Great review Matt and Andrea!!!❤❤👍👍
@3:44. What's up with that horrific sealant work on the roof? Was someone sloppy with the sealant or are they sealing holes everywhere? I've never seen a roof from a factory look that bad.
👍 Andrea, long time no see! L: cockpit and chassis; kitchen and appliances (oven!); int/ext storage; cell phone (tablet?) charger. D: exposed water fill ports; shower curtain, too large bath sink cabinet lost a pppp because of it; picky but sloppy caulk mess on roof. Please stay safe everyone. 😷😷😷😷
Shower curtain is a no go. However, it is much easier to bend and maneuver inside a small shower with a curtain. Perhaps install a strip of ferrous metal up the sides and across the bottom, molded inside the plastic of course. Then fabricate a curtain with magnetic dots around the perimeter. You now have a curtain that would keep the water inside.
Thanks for your review, I can't help notice that at point 3:43 on the video it appears that the roof sealant looks like they haphazardly tracked all over the roof and around key roof components. Is this reflective of quality control in such a tight RV market or a low price point product?
Likey: sweet Andrea... coming to the VA ... 💗, big storage, big dinette, that awesome charger on the table! Dislikey: the step, no can do at 60 but not a deal breaker, and I will be dinging my piggy toe on that door stopper 😢
for what it is, and the price point, excellent that outside storage could very easily be converted to outside food area or ent cent, without even the need for extra wiring install if you were to use portable power sources which are cheap.... and that is the kind of market i am in.... the cheapest you got lol.
I really like this one. For the money it is excellent. Would be great family camper. Is it basic, sure but has some nice touches. Great review as always
Love the oven and the fridge. Great awning. Great Ford engine. Wish there could have been a little room by the side of the bed. Make the bathroom just a little smaller.
nice job guys. I've reached out, but no answer by TEXT. why don't all RV's have induction cooktop and tankless water heaters? that would be really catching up with the times. o/w nice RV.
I like this class C. For being small. My dislikes are the same as yours Matt and Andrea. My likes is the the dinette with charging pad and the wardrobe closet and the storage outside. Thank you Matt and Andrea.
I do like the floor plan but not a fan of the cabinet color. I’d like to see an option in light grey to just open up the whole coach. I’d also like to see the trash can attached to the cupboard door. The little lip at the bottom will keep it from being functional. Definitely keeping this on the short list.
I'd love to see an RV where driver and passenger seats have tray tables and rotate 180 degrees, recline and have leg rests. Ditch the dinette and have a slightly bigger bathroom across from kitchen snd north/south walk around queen in the back still keepjng it under 24 feet.
OK... I have to say it... The "granny break a hip" step up in any RV is just crazy. They could do so much better. The bathroom set up could be fixed with a smaller sink in the corner by the door instead of next to the shower... Then there would be a ton a room for the toilet. The floor plan over all is decent, they just need to fix those minor issues .... Then they would have a great RV at an awesome price point!!!
What a sweet little C. With a towable car, a good little week-long +/- ‘getaway’ RV! Definitely a regular weekender! Hi Andrea! I hope you’ve caught up in your rest after a long travel day! 👍: * size! * price! * CCC of 2600+/- & tow ~5,000! bonus: wireless charger 😁 👎: * not a fan of the countertop/table, looks cheesy...I’d have to figure out some equal/better weight replacement. I just do not like that. * wet bay/black/gray...could have had it combined and streamlined behind a door...if that Winnebago B (last week, on the MB chassis) can...I’m just sayin’. * captain/co-captain chairs don’t swivel. bonus: I think they could have chosen a better font for ‘Chateau’ - what’s on the front cap looks very basic.
3 things that I like 👍 1 the size 👍 2 the bathroom 👍 3 the kitchen 👍 3 things I hate 👎 1 the price 💰 💰 💰 💰 💰 👎 2 the charger on the table may get wet if someone spills 👎 3 need to have a little chair behind the passengers chair👎
It would be nice if the outside ladder is located opposite the window. The ladder location would be an easy target to climb and break the window. Otherwise, this is a perfect size.
Likes: The exterior storage, short/no slides, maximized counter space in kitchen (they did the best with what they had) Dislikes: Oven/microwave combo instead of a convection microwave (lost chance for more storage), curtain on the shower (it even looked worse than most), and the step in the middle (I know I am stubbing my toe and tripping downward on that) Question for Matt: What is the most luxurious corner bed rv that General sells?
Bad: Shower curtain is too little. It doesn’t even fill the space. I would like to see a tile backsplash behind the stove as well as on the side of it. Also, the one cabinet with the frosted glass is odd.
That is ridiculous. That price is jacked up. That is the same rv a few years ago was 55k.
My husband and I started watching this and since he has no patience, he told me to fast forward to the walk through part. I told him I couldn’t because I have to see Matt do his Superman jump!!!
I too fast forward through bits. I love his videos, but my right arrow key is getting worn ;)
Andrea, I could tell from your voice how tired you were. Thanks to you and Matt for putting in the long hours to bring us another great review! We appreciate it!
I was up at 4am to get the early flight lol

This motorhome is nice only thing I would change is the cabinet color
I’d change the vanity in the bathroom to a drop down wall sink to allow more room for the toilet and change the curtain on the shower.
Excellent idea.

I agree! Can’t wait to see that!
Another great review Matt and Andrea! It was your review of the Chateau 28A that convinced us to buy one. So far we love it! Thanks!
Thanks so much Dan!
How’s the Thor quality?
I love this one. It's a great size for a single person to live full time in. That outside storage is amazing. Not a fan of Bathroom but not a deal breaker. I want one. I'll be calling.
I am thinking about doing the same thing.
Check out rusty78609 on TH-cam, he lives full time in the Thor Fourwinds which is the twin to this and it does seem to be a good setup.

Less expensive!

I was thinking the same thing.
Shower needs a seal slide. Generator needs to be ultra quiet version. Love windows, oven, phone charger, storage, & refrigerator.
Hey Andrea good to see you and Matt.
Great reveiw always fun and educational.

Thts right take the sink out of bath room an take out stove an oven out give me more counter space
I am a traveling Entertainer, and I LOVE THE OUTSIDE STORAGE!
That's my plan as well.
Love the space for an outside table & chairs, or electric bike, etc. Great spot for speakers/amps/equipment.
Hey matt! Love this camper! Just got some matts rv reviews stickers!
Beautiful...was following them when they were 30k subs..now they are 125k...hope you meet millions of subs...love you guys...

Perfect for what it is, a small entry level class C! Can’t really complain about much on this one.
Love the ccc! And the underneath storage, modest overall length and no slides. Don't love the brown cabinets.
I bought one of these. Love it.
Andrea, So nice to see you!
Have you been spending much time at your pool? You're looking very bronzed (tan).
I wish lol. Yard work
Matt's little wave looked so cute at 5:29! Your reviews are fun!
Thank you Matt an Andrea❤️❤️
Again, please discuss batteries! Can this unit boondock overnight? One or two batteries? Wet cells or AGM?
I've looked at a lot of RVs, this is the first one that really got my interest up. I DO like the handles on the cabinets. Bathroom an easy fix.
Thanks for your review, I can't help notice that at point 3:43 on the video it appears that the roof sealant looks like they haphazardly tracked all over the roof and around key roof components. Is this reflective of quality control in such a tight RV market or a low price point product?
I’ve never seen so much enthusiasm for a $1 trashcan.
Likey: sweet Andrea... coming to the VA ... 💗, big storage, big dinette, that awesome charger on the table! Dislikey: the step, no can do at 60 but not a deal breaker, and I will be dinging my piggy toe on that door stopper 😢
You know what’s funny is every time I see a trailer now I have to see what brand it is! lol 😂
I absolutely love this floor plan!
Agree. .
Do you think it is possible to take a look at the 2022 Four Winds model 24F? Thank you Matt and Andrea!
I really like this one. It would really be close to perfect for me. I’m putting it on my short list.
Thank you for all the reviews I have been watching. When I buy my RV, I will be at your site. You have made this process so enjoyable.

Nice to see a 2022 model,. Looking forward to other 2022 units. Nice small Class C with pretty good storage.
Perfect for me and at a price I might can afford
Would like to see a top class c no slide outs and small. Love ❣️ watching you, and your wife
Love the oven and the fridge. Great awning. Great Ford engine. Wish there could have been a little room by the side of the bed. Make the bathroom just a little smaller.
You can always tell how much Andrea is worried about Matt when he climbs up the ladder, you can hear how much she cares for him, as do we all.
nice job guys. I've reached out, but no answer by TEXT. why don't all RV's have induction cooktop and tankless water heaters? that would be really catching up with the times. o/w nice RV.
Yay! Nice RV. Toilet placement definitely could be better.

I think it's adorable inside and out!
Great Review! But How about the fact that it starts to Delaminate after 5 years. Yep I own one so I know
Thanks Matt , love all your reviews ❤️ ! can these be ordered with a different interior? The tan w dark cabinets reminds me of 1980’s ! LOL
I do like the floor plan but not a fan of the cabinet color. I’d like to see an option in light grey to just open up the whole coach. I’d also like to see the trash can attached to the cupboard door. Like the storage under the refrigerator. I dislike the large cabinet for the bathroom sink.
Nice for the size.
Those handles are fine and the cabinets look good quality. Not sure about that roof material or the fiberglass cap being more than one piece.
I’m surprised how much I like this small RV! 1 question: How tall do you have to be to reach the top shelf of the freezer?? 🤣 It looks way up there.
If I were to purchase a RV this is it no slides too oh yeaaaaaaaahhhh
What a sweet little C. With a towable car, a good little week-long +/- ‘getaway’ RV!
Definitely a regular weekender!
Hi Andrea! I hope you’ve caught up in your rest after a long travel day!
👍:
* size!
* price!
* CCC of 2600+/- & tow ~5,000!
bonus: wireless charger 😁
👎:
* not a fan of the countertop/table, looks cheesy...I’d have to figure out some equal/better weight replacement. I just do not like that.
* wet bay/black/gray...could have had it combined and streamlined behind a door...if that Winnebago B (last week, on the MB chassis) can...I’m just sayin’.
* captain/co-captain chairs don’t swivel.
bonus: I think they could have chosen a better font for ‘Chateau’ - what’s on the front cap looks very basic.
3 things that I like 👍
1 the size 👍
2 the bathroom 👍
3 the kitchen 👍
3 things I hate 👎
1 the price 💰 💰 💰 💰 💰 👎
2 the charger on the table may get wet if someone spills 👎
3 need to have a little chair behind the passengers chair👎
Does it not have side cameras? You didn’t mention them. I’m excited to see the rest of the 2022 lineup!
perfect rv for first timers. needs to looks! thanks guys!
It would be nice if the outside ladder is located opposite the window. The ladder location would be an easy target to climb and break the window. Otherwise, this is a perfect size.
Likes: The exterior storage, short/no slides, maximized counter space in kitchen (they did the best with what they had)
Dislikes: Oven/microwave combo instead of a convection microwave (lost chance for more storage), curtain on the shower (it even looked worse than most), and the step in the middle (I know I am stubbing my toe and tripping downward on that)
Question for Matt: What is the most luxurious corner bed rv that General sells?
Cabinets are just fine and I love the Art Deco valances.
Oh, no! Not the accordion blinds!! We've not had good luck with those holding up.
Bad: Shower curtain is too little. It doesn’t even fill the space. I would like to see a tile backsplash behind the stove as well as on the side of it. Also, the one cabinet with the frosted glass is odd.
